Our holiday home is in the award-winning Nautilus building situated on the seafront at Westward Ho! Floor to ceiling windows give uninterrupted sea views across the bay from Baggy Point to Hartland Point. Westward Ho!’s Blue Flag 2 mile sandy beach is just a stone’s throw away, excellent for learning to surf. Offering the perfect setting for a family holiday, Westward Ho! makes a great base for outdoor activities. Cycle off road on the scenic Tarka Trail, play a round at the Royal North Devon Golf Club (the oldest links course in the country), walk the South West Coast Path. The picturesque villages of Appledore and Clovelly are nearby. Alternatively, relax within the comfort of the apartment and watch the waves breaking in front. There really is something for everyone.

The apartment was amazing sitting on the balcony watching the sea and life pass by .a nice touch was the beach chair and wind braker .lovely restaurant near by a very enjoyable stay .would recommend and return .

Amazing property and location

The property was spotlessly clean and even better than the photos. It was a stunning location with the view and sound of the sea. Amazing light in the apartment. Brilliant for local walks as well as well as car drives for coastal walks. Will definitely return

A delight!

This property lived up to its expectations! An amazing view, lovely open plan with a contemporary style. Everything you can possibly need... a real home from home. Breakfast on the balcony tide come go out and dinner watching the sun set over the sea.

Ideal location

Bar, restaurant and fish and chips all close by. And coastal paths to walk them off. Or just sit on the balcony and watch the changing of the tides.

Beautiful apartment!

We had a lovely stay in this fantastic apartment. Very comfortable, beautiful views, wonderful beach. Great takeaways and Co-op and Tesco very close by. Would love to stay again!

Fabulous apartment with great sea views. We loved body boarding and the beach. Appledore which is 5 mins away was great for meals out and gift shops

Flat 16 Nautilus Westwrad Ho

The apartment was well equipped for guests ; and the location, facing west and directly overlooking the sea was great . I did contact Hilarie with a few queries before our holiday , and she was most helpful . Local shops were just a short walk away ; we particularly enjoyed our takeaway from the Thai restaurant - just next door . There were just a few small things that needed maintenance ; but did not affect the enjoyment of our holiday .

The most beautiful apartment with stunning views of the sunset. Westward ho! Itself wasn’t really for us but lots of lovely places/beaches locally to visit.

Amazing property!

Excellent apartment, very comfortable, clean and so well equipped, we really felt at home. It is in a great location, we couldn't have been any closer to the beach. Our 4 year old grandson loved the rock pools which were just across a quiet road in front of the apartment. We spent our evenings relaxing on the balcony enjoying the wonderful views and fantastic sunsets. We explored the local area and enjoyed walks along the long sandy beach when the tide was out. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment and would love to return.

Amazing property with unforgetable views

16 Nautilus is a fantastic property with a genuine WOW factor! It enjoys sea views that are hard to beat. The unique design of the apartment provides natural light throughtout the day with floor to cealing glass windows in the living / dining area. The weather was lovely throughout our week stay and we spent lots of time on the balcony (there are actually 3 balconies) enjoying the sun and the sunsets. The apartment was clean, well equiped and maintained and fully met our expectations. The owner provided good customer service from booking through to completion. We explored the local area and enjoyed evening walks along the long sandy beach. We particularly liked Appledore which was only a few miles away. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation and would love to return.

Great Appartment

My wife and I stayed at 16 Nautilus for half-term with our two boys aged 7 and 3. As the pictures indicate the apartment is right on the beach with just a quiet road separating you from the 2 miles of sand and rock pools which the boys loved. The apartment itself is spacious and nicely decorated, the bedrooms are both a good size and having two bathrooms was very useful. The upstairs living area really has the ‘wow-factor’, the views to the front are stunning from both the balcony and the whole lounge/kitchen. The apartment is so full of natural light that we never felt too guilty about being inside even when the weather wasn't great, when the tide is in you almost feel like you are on a boat as all you can see from the front of the apartment is the sea. The property is also extremely well equipped from the good quality (SMEG) kitchen appliances/wine cooler to the nice (John Lewis) towels, games, binoculars and children’s size cutlery. We found that many of the things that we had brought with us we didn't need as they were already there. We had a great week of beach time in Westward Ho!, crabbing in Appledore and cream-teas locally and visiting places further afield like Tintagel Castle, Clovely Village, Croyde and Woolacombe. Evenings were mostly spent on the balcony with a glass or two of wine while the boys were tucked-up downstairs. All in all a great week, were are planning to return!
