Mountain Getaway Retreat

Tucked away in a quiet setting nested in the woods just a 10 minute walk to Grouse Mountain which offers skiing, skating, snow shoeing, sled rides, tobogganing and more. In the summer enjoy great hikes, mountain biking, and walks along the north shore mountains. Recently renovated this west coast contemporary home offers 3500 sq feet of living space on 2 levels. All 4 bedrooms have a queen-size bed and all rooms are located on the top level for maximum privacy. The master also has a queen size sofa bed making enough room for 10 people. There is a total of 4 full bathrooms, 3 upstairs and 1 on the main floor.

The main floor has all the luxuries that you would want, a gourmet kitchen with a 5 burner gas cooktop, a 10-foot island to entertain, a dedicated fridge and freezer with a double wall oven, and a warming drawer. Stay fit with a full-sized gym with an elliptical and treadmill or head out to one of the local trails within minutes. In the night enjoy a movie in the home theatre room on a 10-foot screen or entertain the kids with Wii U, PS3 or play a game of pool. During the day enjoy the large deck with a gas fire pit or in the backyard with a small game of soccer.

Our home has 3 levels, the upper two are for your enjoyment while the bottom level has a self-contained occupied suite.

Beautiful House, excellent location

Our 10 day stay was wonderful. Our host was friendly and responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an exceptional home in one of the most beautiful places we have visited. Easy access to both the city and the adventures Vancouver has to offer.

Great stay in North Vancouver

We loved our stay here. The house was fully equipped and close to hot spots. We had cars but found uber and public transport to be easy. We slept 9 in beds and no one felt like they were on top of each other.

Beautiful Mountain Home

A perfect family get away in the mountains with many local attractions for everyone. Enjoy the mountain air and many walking trail systems out of the front door. If you are staying indoors there are many choices of entertainment for families to enjoy. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and it was the owner of the property who made our stay one of our best vacations ever. We are very grateful and hope to stay again in the future.

Fun house, great location!

Had a great stay at this house with my family and in-laws. The house was really clean and modern, well stocked, has great amenities and is in a fun location with several activities nearby (including hiking trails in the forest which is not listed). The kitchen was really nicely furnished with great tableware and REALLY sharp knives. The host was always available and responsive and they were really dog friendly as well! Thank you Andre and family! we really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect House and Location

Everything was wonderful about this house and the location is perfect for skiing on Grouse Mountain (less than a 2 minute drive). The owner, Andre, went out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful time with our kids - recommending places to go sledding with them and leaving out his sleds for us to use. Upon arrival, we had a welcome letter, brochures of nearby attractions and candy/chocolates for our kids. The home is amazing (a lot of high tech features that kept us entertained) and the fully stocked kitchen allowed us to prepare great meals at the house. We fell in love with Vancouver. We can't wait to visit Vancouver again next year and when we do we will be staying here.

Beautiful House Lovely location!

The home is beautiful well suited for a larger group as we were. Very spacious, very clean, location is convenient to everything - in between capilano suspension bridge & grouse mountain. The host was prompt with responses to any questions. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. Minor issues limited closet space, limited glassware and towels .. beach towels would have been nice - we did wash the towels to refresh .. Also note the house has family occupants in the lower level - not a concern but sometimes felt awkward…

Wonderful home with wonderful hosts

Andre and his family are such gracious hosts. A welcome basket with treats and beverages - even for our dog! - and chocolates on the beds were so thoughtful. The house was very clean and it is a stunning home. Thank you for having the piano tuned and for letting us use it. We enjoyed being close to all the trails of North Vancouver. We hope to return soon.

Family Reunion

Vancouver was a perfect vacation spot for our family reunion. It has something for everyone's desire. The beautiful house is located in Grouse Mountain area and couldn't be in a better location. The owner, Andre, was a perfect host and made himself available for any questions or concerns we had. The kitchen contained all the supplies you would need for cooking and serving everyone comfortably. The porch outside was heavenly and perfect for roasting marshmallows and evening gatherings. The workout exercise room was thoroughly enjoyed by family. The host left special treats for my grandson when we first arrived. So thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. Thank you so much Andre and family.

Wonderful stay

Andre is an amazing host! Great location literally a few minutes away from Grouse mountain and Capilano bridge in the other direction. Home was clean, fully stocked, spacious, comfortable, etc. Andre was also incredibly responsive to any questions/needs. Highly recommend!

Perfect Family Base Camp

This home was a fabulous spot for us to spend a quick few days in North Vancouver. The home was spotless, had every amenity and more, and was just one minute from the Grouse Mountain tram. Andre was a thoughtful host, personalizing our stay with custom thermostat settings, a stocked fridge, and a basket full of treats for our kids.

Dream house at the foot of Grouse Mountain

Our experience was amazing from start to finish at Andre’s beautiful home! The location is incredible (foot of Grouse Mountain, next to Cleveland Dam, minutes from Downtown). The house itself is something to aspire for. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms are beautiful and spacious. I would not hesitate to rent this place again!

Exceptional Property and Host

We were a family of 6 plus grandma visiting an uncle in Vancouver. The property had a great layout, bathrooms and kitchen are phenomenal, everything was exceptionally clean, well stocked and really well located for an active family (Grouse Mountain). The pool table, piano, chess board and video game console kept the kids entertained while we were at the home and we felt well supported by Andre during our 3 day stay. We look forward to booking this property again the next time we come to Vancouver.

Excellent Accommodations

Beautiful home; renovated and well decorated/modern. Larger than what we anticipated with a huge Island well equipped kitchen with separate fridge and freezer. Four bedrooms upstairs; two with ensuite. Very large patio with bbq and fire pit. Excellent location within walking distance to Grouse Mountain. Andre was very attentive and answered all messages promptly. We also received a very nice welcome package of goods for both adults and kids upon arrival that was very much appreciated. Overall we were very happy with the 9 nights we spent at the house.

Paradise close to the city

If you are looking for a vacation in serenity in a super modern house close to the city and outdoor activities with all the amenities one can think of, this meticulous and spacious home will exceed your expectations. Super nice and responsive owners.

Immaculate house

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We learned this is the owners main residence & they keep it in perfect condition. They are very nice & easy to work with. My only issue with the house, is that it is not intended for small children. They have a lot of beautiful wall hangings & glass decor which was an issue with my curious toddler. Other than that it was a nearly perfect home to stay in while visiting a very beautiful area.

Home away from home!

This is an amazing property in a quiet neighbourhood, well located near points of interest. The owner Andre' was very helpful, ensuring that our stay is comfortable. The property was clean and equipped with all items of daily use. We will love to visit again.

Both our children were born and raised on the North Shore taking part in many community sports over the years. We love to travel and explore the world which creates opportunities for others to enjoy our home while we're away.

Our home backs onto a forest and with a large backyard you have great privacy on the deck or in the yard with only one neighbor is visible. The home is an open floor plan great for giving everyone their own space with all 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the upper floor for great privacy. We love to entertain friends and family during key times through the year as our home is very spacious both inside and out with all the luxuries like a 120" projector for great movie nights or a fire pit on the deck for roasting marshmallows or enjoying a glass of wine.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We renovated our home from top to bottom and have finished it with all the luxuries one can expect. There is the gourmet kitchen built for a chef, the fitness room with gym quality treadmill, elliptical and weight set or the double shower covered in Italian marble in the master bathroom.

I love gadgets and our home is a smart modern home with most lights, toilets and even faucets operate with either motion, touch or wave of your hand making it more convenient.
