Located less than 5 minutes walk from Holyrood Palace, the Royal Mile and Old Town, and only 15- 20 minutes to Princess Street and Waverley train station, this is the ideal location for enjoying the Edinburgh.

Holyrood Park and Arthurs Seat can be accessed directly from the flat and a large supermarket and major bus routes are only 5 minutes walk away.

For guests visiting during the Edinburgh Festival, you are only 10-15 minutesā€™ walk from The Pleasance, Cowgate and the hustle and bustle of the many other festival venues.

During your stay you can enjoy deluxe accommodation with your friends and family.

Modern and recently decorated to a high standard, the flat offers everything you need to feel at home while visiting Edinburgh.

You will enjoy use of the living room where you can relax with a bottle of wine or watch the large TV with Sky/Satellite channels.

Our stay here in the city was perfect! The apartment is centrally located and easy to access all the sites. Of all the places we stayed this one had the most comfortable beds of any. Our host Duncan was easy to deal with and even had some nice breakfast options available.

We love our stay at Spring Gardens. The flat was clean, roomy and well appointed. The basics like hair dryers, soaps and kitchen items were provided. It is a good location that allows walking to town doable if u want. We highly recommend it!

We had four days in Edinburgh at the end of a whirlwind UK trip. This apartment was perfect for us to come home to after lots of walking and sightseeing. The couch in the living room was amazing for napping and hanging out. The beds were comfy and the washer/dryer was also an extra bonus! Itā€™s in a quiet neighborhood and about a 25 minute walk to city center. Loved our stay. We were as to leave.

A VRBO success

If only every VRBO listing was the standard of this property! Excellent location, adjacent to the Palace of Holyrood House (a highlight, hiking directly from the flat up the steep incline of Arthur's seat) and within walking distance of the Royal Mile including Edinburgh Castle (although we used Uber more often than not). Quiet, well-equipped, flat. And Duncan, the consummate host. One tip, if youā€™re visiting Edinburgh Castle, book ahead online

Extremely clean and well equipped property. Super easy to check in and out. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. Host is in fact a super host and left stocks of cereals and hot beverage prep items (coffee, tea and surprise surprise for a Yank OXO cubes). Beds extremely comfortable and if you do not want to drive, location close to public and other forms of transportation.

Very clean, very comfortable. We traveled to Scotland with our three grown children. Everyone had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. The location was a 15-minute walk from shopping. The apartment was quiet, with a beautiful view. I would stay here again.

Short stay in Edinburgh

A well-appointed and conveniently located first floor apartment near Meadowbank. Two bathrooms (including an en-suite to the master), comfortable queen size beds (and a couple of singles) and fast internet were the standout features. The property is adjacent to Holyrood Park and a short walk from the Royal Mile. It is the perfect base for an ascent of Arthurā€™s Seat and Salisbury Crags, both of which afford spectacular views of the city. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. (A couple of the local coffee shops were very good indeed.) It is an ideal location for a short stay in Edinburgh if you prefer to be away from the crowded inner city. Duncan was a cordial host; any questions we had were answered promptly. Recommended.

Very enjoyable!

This was a lovely apartment with everything our family of four adults and two preteens could ask for. The beds were extremely inviting and comfortable. The living room had lots of space to spread out and the bathrooms were modern and stylish. We really appreciated the closeness to the Royal Mile and Holyrood. The kids and their parents climbed Arthurā€™s Rock and seemed to have given it their own 5 star review. Many thoughtful touches by Duncan were gratefully appreciated. We did use Uber because of the age ranges of our family but walkers in the neighborhood were plentiful.
