Surf Side Shores #2801 is a corner gulf-front 3 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 8th floor in building II overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1100 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or a stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side bedroom has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower. King, Queen, Twin, Twin, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 8.

Surf Side Shores I and II are 9-story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Surf Side Shores has two beachside pools, one of which is an extended-season pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. 2 car limit. Stays longer than 30 days must purchase parking pass(s) for every month.

STAY AND PLAY
This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great View and location on a dated Room

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and view was amazing. The access to the two pools was great as we came with a softball team for a tournament, so it was perfect for the kids to hang out in one and the parents in another. The location to hang on the beach was awesome with easy access and short walk to set up from condo walkway to rental chairs. We also utilized the charcoal grills to feed our softball team and families. They are very nice and kept clean by building staff in the common area too. We went in several rooms while on property being we were with our softball team and 2801 was by far the most outdated. Furniture and appliances were well loved and worn down, but we weren't expecting much beaning a beach rental. We were most disappointed in the balcony furniture to be specific. It was old plastic Adirondack chairs and half of them were cracked with no table and chairs to sit at and eat breakfast in the morning or play cards at at night. Overall the location and beach access made up for outdated room. We would comeback to Surf Side again, just pick a more updated room.

It was absolutely perfect! The location, access to the beach, the room, place to keep your beach chairs, just everything was perfect! We plan on staying every year in the future! Gulf shores Rentals customer service was awesome with answering any questions we had and they are super friendly and welcoming!! The easiest check in and out, overall amazing!

Spring Break with Grand

Overall impression of this property is overseen by realtors not concerned owners. The logistics of clean is sanitary, but the concern of details in working the locked door, the rusted legged furniture on the balcony, the stove eyes that were not connected for use were overlooked since we were people who used our ability to adapt and move on. The condo overall was good for a short stay and we made the best work for us.

Perfect Getaway

The condo was great, provided everything we needed. The stove needs to be replaced. The burners were uneven so the pan tried to slide off. Also the living room balcony door wouldn’t latch when you went out on the balcony so we couldn’t use it. Luckily we could use the doors in the master bedroom to go out on the balcony. Everything else was great!

There were not enough forks , only three. The three TVs all had bad reception after they warmed up a little bit, they would get wavy lines in the middle.

great place for families & friends

Condo building is much smaller than high rises so is much easier to navigate. One elevator. Aprox 6 condos per floor - all face beach. Convenient location to restaurants but not in the busy, noisy area - from main highway, turn right (west) to this location. We will be returning in a few months.

Dirty floors

The location is definitely the best thing about this place. The floors were extremely dirty you had to wear shoes always. The furniture is cheap and rickety. The views from the balcony are stunning, but it is hard to get the doors to stay closed while you were out there without latching them and if you do you are locked out. Overall, it was a great stay. We had fun location makes up for many of the problems.

Girls vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo could use some TLC. Baseboard coming off wall in main bathroom. Wall decor was either damaged or very outdated. No idea what was sprayed on ceiling in the living room. Floors hadn’t been mopped in a while. We moped so our socks wouldn’t be ruined. However great location and plenty of room for get together and relaxing.

This condo was substandard.

This condo wasn’t very clean and VERY outdated. Their were several hazards such as outlet covers not attached to the cable wires in the living room and master bedroom. The heavy pottery lamp in the front room was on top of a plastic bookshelf with the cord hanging. This was a very dangerous set up. The refrigerator had rust on the outside and in the freezer. No hot pads in the kitchen. The tv in the master bedroom only had 2 channels so we had to buy a Roku stick to watch tv. The mattress in the middle bedroom was very uncomfortable. This condo accommodates 8 people but the dining table had 4 chairs and a broken bar stool. The balcony only had 3 chairs. The ac return grill was completely covered with dirt and dust. I wouldn’t recommend this condo at all.

Great views and location

We really liked this condo. Plenty of room for all 8 of us. The location is amazing, super close to everything. Not really close enough to walk, but just a short drive. The layout was great. Just like the pictures show, it is not updated but that’s ok. We don’t need fancy decorations. The balconies were great and super functional. Close to the elevator so easy to get things down to the beach or the car. Everything was pretty clean and orderly. There were some issues. The beds are hard and the bedding is extremely low quality, like think roadside motel bad. The oven doesn’t function very well. It burned the bottom of everything we tried to cook, almost like it got too hot. The toaster didn’t work. And there is a broken door handle on the master bedroom door. I’m also not sure the sheets were cleaned in the master bedroom prior to our arrival. They had sand in them before we used the bed at all. Other than a few issues, we were happy with this condo! Mobile check out was amazing also, keep that going!

Girls weekend away

Floors needed to be cleaned and shower curtains were gummy. We still had a wonderful time!!! Needed the good lounge on the beach, some of our group didn’t fit in the smaller ones.
