WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED INCREASED CLEANLINESS AND DISINFECTANT RULES TO OUR HOUSE CLEANING CREW. WE HAVE C0NTACTLESS ARRIVAL WITH A FRONT DOOR CODE ENTRY LOCK BOX CONTAINING TWO HOUSE KEYS.

This adorable Cape Cod home with water views combines
beauty and privacy and sits in a perfect location, with proximity to everything the Cape has to offer.
- Located on beautiful Deep Pond in the town of Falmouth, this lovely shingled Cape which overlooks a crystalline pond suitable for swimming, fishing, small boat sailing, canoeing and kayaking.

- Bring your dog on vacation. A perfect family setting that includes a small fenced-in backyard, full basement with access to pond. Our house Sleeps up to 12 comfortably. With one hundred feet of lake front, we include 5 Kayaks, beach chairs, hammock, and row boat. There are three bedrooms upstairs each with a queen size bed. There is a bedroom/den on the first floor with a pull-out double size Futon bed.
In the downstairs finished basement there are four twin size beds especially set up for children/grandchildren.. Upstairs there is a full bathroom plus a second full bathroom in the master bedroom. There is a third bathroom on the first floor. There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors through out the house as well as a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. There is parking for three cars.
- Beautiful Old Silver Beach is just a ten minute drive and Chapoquoit Beach and Scenic Falmouth Beaches are also just a short drive away.
- Five public golf courses are within minutes of the house.
- Restaurants, shopping and movie theaters are just down the road at Mashpee Commons and on Main Street in the Falmouth Town Center.
- If you enjoy biking, the Shining Sea Bikeway is just 3.5 miles away and will take you from North Falmouth to Wood's Hole. Bike rentals and parking adjacent to nearby bike path.
- In addition, there is a huge variety of wonderful hikes on both the Nantucket Sound and Buzzards Bay sides of the Falmouth peninsula.
- Our House is 3000 Square Feet of living space on 0.5 acres of land, built in 2000.

Pefect spot for a family retreat. Great home with all the amenities. The pond was perfect. Sandy with a shallow area for the little ones. The kayaks were great and we had a wonderful time. Looking forward to our next trip to Cape Cod.

Dick's home was better than described. It was very comfortable, clean and roomy for our annual summer vacation. Dick had a binder in his home full of important information regarding the home and great recommendations within the area.The fresh water, sandy bottom access was superb and refreshing. Falmouth and Wood's Hole is a short, easy drive with lots of grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and community entertainment. We found easy ocean access in Wood's Hole at "The Knob"

waterfront house in a peaceful neighborhood

We (family of four) had a wonderful stay at this spacious, clean, and well-equipped house in a peaceful neighborhood. One of the highlights was the beautiful deep pond with clear water; we enjoyed kayaking and even took a refreshing swim, despite the early summer chill. We’d be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Dick’s beautiful home. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described! Our family of 7 and our Aussie had everything we needed. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming at the lake, as well as the gorgeous view from the house. Communication with Dick was quick and easy. Definitely recommend!

Paradise on Cape Cod

Communication with Dick was wonderful prior to and after our stay. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed, plus some. Games and puzzles there for our family. Brought loads of games from home, but there were so many activities there and nearby that we used the games minimally. Boats were used a lot and fishing right off their private beach was good. The basement bedroom was ideal as it gave grandpa a chance to have sleepovers with his 3 grandsons. We use VRBO quite a bit and this stay makes my top 3. We are not the type of family that goes back to the same place, but it is possible with this stay.

Great spot, clean house!

We had a great week, the house was cleaned and very well supplied. The location on the lake was a great spot as the kids could run out and go for a swim. Dick was communicative and responsive if we had any questions at all. Great spot for families!

On Golden Pond

Our experience was great! We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable at the home. It was a perfect place for our family to gather for a relaxing week on Cape Cod with plenty of space for everyone.

Wonderful vacation

This was our second year and it was everything we wanted. The owner is always available to answer questions and the property easily accommodates our extended family, including the new dog. We would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Lovely Lakeside Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The house was so clean and the neighborhood was lovely. The lake was warm and my kids loved kayaking and swimming. Dick was very communicative and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this property to all!!

Deep Pond Vacation

My husband and I together with our little dog so enjoyed our week's stay. The home is warm and inviting and very clean. Although the weather was not very cooperative we were still able to enjoy the kayaks provided for at least a few times on the beautiful pond. Dick was super easy to contact and always responsive. A wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Enjoyable stay

The house lived up to our expectations: there was plenty of room and we found everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and our access from the house couldn’t have been better. It’s a lovely neighborhood with friendly people and we felt very comfortable there. Most importantly, 15 year old Goldendoodle especially loved the opportunity to swim every day!

Spectacular family accommodations!

Our family of 8 plus an infant had the best time at Deep Pond! It was well kept, clean, cozy, and the perfect arrangement for us all. The location on the pond allowed us to make use of the kayaks and serene area. It was within a ten minute drive to downtown Falmouth and Menauhant Beach where we spent a great deal of our time. Dick was an excellent host and we hope to plan another trip next year!

Wonderful spot for a large group

We had a great week here. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The sleeping accommodated our 3 generation family easily. There were also indoor activities (ping pong, games and puzzles) as well as kayaks, boats and a very swim able lake. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect get-away for the family

We loved staying at this property for a week in July 2018. There was something for everybody, from the well-appointed kitchen to the kayaks and lake right out the door. Ocean beaches and hiking trails are only a short drive away, and some of our party ventured on longer day-trips ranging from nearby Woods Hole to distant Provincetown. 5 star reviews from three generations! The owner always responded quickly during the booking process and for any questions.

Amazing house, beautiful lakefront

Our family had an amazing week at this house. The house is comfortable and has plenty of room to accommodate a group but you can also find a quiet corner to read. The kayaks and canoe made for hours of fun and we all loved the outside deck for coffee in the morning. Dick and Joan were great hosts. Very accommodating and communicative. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Relaxing stay, very welcoming

There were 12 of us staying at Dick's, all family. It was a great, clean space that was comfortable for everyone. Easy drive to nice beaches and a wonderful, clean pond in the backyard to kayak, canoe, and unplug. It was so welcoming with a binder of resources, a note, and bottle of wine. We reserved the property a year in advance, and Dick was responsive to my questions and gave clear and easy instructions for check-in and check-out. Definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

Deep Pond Family Vacation

This was a family vacation with all our children, spouses and 3 young grandkids. The place was very clean and big enough to accompany all of us with breathing room. It also had all the amenities we needed! The pond was amazing, lots of fishing, kayaking, canoeing and hanging out by the water. Nice quiet pond. Lots of paths for biking riding and Old Silver beach was beautiful. We all had an amazing time and we will be back!

Perfect Family Friendly Retreat

Well-appointed, family-friendly house on peaceful and beautiful Deep Pond. 10-min drive to town/beaches. Children enjoyed swimming and paddling all day while the adults joined the fun or watched from the dock. Fenced in yard made it so easy to bring our four-legged friends with us! No detail left forgotten. Dick was a communicative and thoughtful host -- would highly recommend!

Wow! A wonderful spot and great owner

We loved our time at Dick's beautiful Deep Pond Retreat! Great location, comfy beds, well-appointed home, tons of space. The house was clean and had everything needed for pups and people alike. Although weather didn't allow for much in the way of recreation on it, the pond was beautiful amd peaceful,, and we found several great dog friendly hikes in the area. A rainy day spent in quaint Falmouth village and Mashpee Commons perfectly scratched our shopping itch. This property is tuly a gem and Dick is a gracious and accommodating host. I hope we can come back in warmer weather to enjoy this special retreat.

Loved it!

We loved our stay! The house was actually much bigger than expected. There were 9 of us, including 5 teenagers, and we were able to spread out and have some privacy! We LOVED the pond! We spent almost every day kayaking, canoeing and floating on the pond and visiting with the ducks. We also loved the outdoor shower after the long day on the pond! A very relaxing stay in which we had everything we needed. The house was also decorated with the owner's family pictures and his very own artwork. There is total pride in this property. We would love to stay again!

We bought our brand new Falmouth vacation home in 2000. After twenty-five years of renting vacation homes on Martha's Vineyard, we wanted a permanent vacation home of our own. Although our family resides in the beautiful Hudson Valley, New York; we love spending several weeks a year at our Cape Cod home on Deep Pond for family gatherings. We value our Falmouth home as a legacy for our children and grandchildren.

This home offers a unique combination of beach, pond and woods. We have a bit of Vermont as our house is surrounded by pine trees on Deep Pond, our Golden Pond; yet it is close to wonderful beaches, hiking, kayaking, restaurants, and shopping in the charming village of Falmouth. Falmouth, Woods Hole, Buzzards Bay and Nantucket Sound have all the special charm of Martha's Vineyard without the hassle of crowded roads, villages, beaches and the necessity of ferry reservations.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our air-conditioned fully furnished house is very well kept up and immaculately clean with a lot of personal loving care.
Our house offers several gathering places for family and friends yet also provides places for privacy when preferred. We have an upper deck, a screened in sun porch, and a lower deck all facing and looking out on our pond. With three double beds in three upstairs bedrooms, four twin beds and four futons, the house can comfortably accommodate twelve people. Add an outdoor shower, a hammock, five kayaks, a row boat, a deck by the pond and private little beach and you have everything you need for a fun-filled relaxing vacation. Our deck by the waters edge, is ideal for early morning YOGA, or just a cup of coffee watching the sun rise,; and again during the evening sharing a glass of vino as the sun sets.
