However, we would like to clarify several important facts regarding your stay. Your reservation and payment through Vrbo covered accommodation for 10 adults and 2 children only. The reservation did not include the additional annex or the extra bedrooms required to accommodate a group of 16 guests. Furthermore, your reservation was made under the previous year's pricing, whereas the additional annex and bedrooms you requested upon arrival were subject to the current season's rates, which were significantly higher. The additional amount requested reflected the accommodation actually used and the applicable rates for the current season. Upon your arrival, you requested the use of the annex for the additional guests. You repeatedly assured us that you had already paid Vrbo for the annex, although we showed you the reservation confirmation and invoice, which clearly stated that only the main house for 10 adults and 2 children had been paid for. You then informed us that you would arrange the additional payment through Vrbo and provide proof of payment. Despite waiting several days, no such confirmation was ever provided. Concerning your writing about the size of the rooms: We don t have small rooms, even less too small rooms; our villa is original Renaissance aristocratic summer residence from the 16th ct. with walls 6 m high, on the 1st floor, and 5m in the ground floor. Six rooms are realy spacious, and three are smaller, but normal size. The two living rooms and a kitchen are extremely spacious, as well as the huge roofed terrace. All rooms are on our web site, and it is easy to check what I am talking about. Concerning keys, there was a set of keys on the piano in the entrance hall but when I mentioned it on guests arrival, no attention was probably paid to my words and my mention on keys was missed. My husband (74) and me (73) are owners of the villa and we take care of the villa with help of various workers who are engaged for the various works. The property is very large 640 m2 of inside living space and 2500m2 of garden space. There is also our private space in house on the side where we do administrative things concerning renting business. We have to register all guests and they frequently do not come together, but some of them with earlier plane, other later.
