Beautiful Apartment in Boavista Golf Resort, Lagos, Western Algarve

My partner and I have owned the apartment since 2005 where we have enjoyed many a happy holiday with our two children. We live in Devon and wanted a holiday home with a rural feel but with all amenities within a short distance. We love our apartment and have never tired of visiting it, our children are now 16 and 21 and are always happy to join us! There is so much to do from surfing, water sports, water parks, tennis, football, golf, fishing and loads more there is never a reason to get bored. We love to take the car and visit the monchique mountains or explore different beaches and coves as well as visit local shops and excellent restaurants. The staff at the clubhouse have become friends and always make us feel really welcome, we have spent many an enjoyable evening there!

When we bought we had two young children and it had everything from a safe and friendly environment to all the sports my son could want. He particularly used to enjoy the football coaching and fabulous pool where it is easy to make new friends. We love this area because it is so unspoilt and we have found the Portuguese people so welcoming. The town of Lagos is great fun in August when the streets are busy with traders and entertainers with a real variety of different bars and restaurants. We also love visiting Praia da Luz in the evenings with its laid back attitude and beach bars which come to life in the night time, there is a real family feel to the area.
