Fantastic in every aspect! Can't say enough about the owners of the home, the location, the house itself....I could go on, but all in all, just a great week in Oak Bluffs, and the home was one of the highlights!

Charming cottage in a great location

Two days into our weeklong stay, we were already talking about wanting to come back to this cottage again next year; we absolutely loved it. Great location, directly across the street from Oak Bluffs Harbor with a huge front porch that's perfect for watching the comings and goings on the harbor, chatting, or reading a good book. The interior is nicely laid out such that although some of the rooms are a bit small (which is to be expected for a cottage), the house doesn't feel at all cramped. The cottage has air conditioning, which we didn't end up needing but is nice to have. The owner was helpful and responsive to questions. We hope to be back again next year!

Best spot in Oak Bluffs!

My family of six booked this house months prior based on the wonderful reviews of others and we got everything we expected. The location is perfect! The house is well kept and spacious. But the true beauty of this house is its vast front porch with its stunning views. Kim was a such a pleasure and answered all our questions and was very accommodating throughout our stay.

Memorable Family 4th of July!!

My family and I spent a wonderful week at Martha’s Vineyard and this property was excellent! The location is outstanding-we were within walking distance of great restaurants and the beach. Our kids (ages 7, 9, and 12) had a great time discovering the island. We spent our evenings watching the boats come into the harbor and we’re able watch fireworks from the front porch. The owners were very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Definitely would recommend for any family looking for a great family vacation.

Wonderful Week!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage in Oak Bluffs! The location was absolutely perfect - minutes walk into town for shopping and dining. The cottage was spotless and well-appointed with necessary household supplies and linens. But nothing could beat the incredible porch - we so enjoyed rocking away as we gazed at the harbor across the street.

Wonderful week in beautiful gingerbread cottage

We loved our week in Oak Bluffs at this beautiful, historic home. While over 150 years old, the home is in absolutely excellent condition and was spotless. It had everything you could possibly need for your stay--all kitchen equipment, beach chairs, games, etc. Even fresh flowers in multiple rooms! We really loved the location, right in town in Oak Bluffs. Our favorite part was sitting on the front porch and watching the people go by. Kim was wonderful to coordinate with. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The house was beautiful and charming. The side yard was a great addition for the kids to play in.

The location of this property is perfect. We spent many nights rocking on the front porch watching the boats coming in and out. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend this property!

A magical place

This house in Oak Bluffs is hands down my favorite house I’ve rented on MV. I’ve stayed on the hilltop over the basin in Menemsha, the woods in Chilmark and other Oak Bluff cottages. The view is magical as you look out at the harbor from an amazing porch. The location is within a 5 minute walk to downtown Oak Bluffs. This is the first time I’ve rented where I’m actually considering not bringing my car over next time. You have the adorable campground cottages behind you where you can ride your bikes or simply walk around. Make sure to check the schedule for events at the campground. We were lucky enough to see the sing along on Wednesday nights. The owner Kim has everything available you coukd possibly need for your stay. She adds her own personal touches by filling vases with hydrangeas she cuts from the yard. She even leaves little gifts for you! I thank you Kim for the wonderful time my mom, son and I had at your magical cottage. Donna Moreen NJ

The perfect MV experience!

There is not one thing I would change about this rental. The gingerbread house is absolutely adorable. It was immaculate when we arrived and the owner was there to great us. Everything you need is right there. The location is percect. You can walk to restaurants,shopping,beaches and entertainment. We could sit on the front porch for hours overlooking the beautiful boats in the marina or just sit there and people watch. So many tourists walking by stopped to admire this beautiful house and location. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We had four teens with us and they loved it as well because they could walk around town whenever they wanted. IWe have rented many places in the Vineyard and this was our favorite by far. We can't wait to go back next year.

Great location with family with teens and young adults.

We have traveled to the Vineyard for over a decade. We have stayed at countless places. We have had houses with pools, access to the ocean, hot tubs, lots of land, etc. This house, however, hands down was the best. In past years we would travel into town to eat and go out. This is the first year that we really didn't go out, and ate at home more. I believe it was because of the location. Everything was right at our finger tips. My teenagers could go into town at will. When the kids played on the side yard, the neighborhood kids would come over and join them. I can not even begin to describe how many countless hours went by while sitting on the front porch watching the world go by.

Great location for family with teens

This lovely Gingerbread house is the perfection location! It is across from the harbor and at night the breeze is fabulous whether we were sitting on the porch downstairs or the upstairs. Our teens were free to walk to town which was 2 minutes away to shop, have lunch, an ice cream at any time of day or night. The vineyard has countless beautiful beaches and one is also a 5 minute walk or grab a bike and hop on the nearby bike path to the Jaws bridge and beach a little further down the road. This is definitely the best Gingerbread on Lake Ave - quaint patio in the back and the only one with a yard for wiffle ball, frisbee etc..... The house is so cute on the inside and it was a treat to spend a week in a one of the vineyard's famous Gingerbreads. The owners are friendly and very accommodating - the house had fresh cut flowers when we arrived and the sheets are sooooo soft!

Great Location for Families!

This was our first time staying in Martha's Vineyard for a week. We were not sure what the best location would be to get the most of our traveling time. This house was perfect! Perfect for my husband and I to get some time alone, not too far for the kids to walk town to get ice cream or ride the carousel. Close to the beaches and the quaint town of Oak Bluffs. Great shopping, restaurants, and summer strolls. The best part was the beautiful scenery we were able to enjoy from the front porch of this home. The sunsets were amazing! The owners were awesome! They greated us our first day there and were very welcoming! Good Place to Stay!
