Villa Surya is located 50 kilometers north of Rome, it is set among rolling hills and well connected by motorway A1 Rome Florence. A large ,14 x 7 meters private infinity pool, with salt system, a relaxing environment with tables, chairs and sun lounges immersed in roses gardens of different colours and a collections of iris, grasses and flowered bushes.
Villa Surya offers a Ping pong table, trampoline,trip line, 4 bedrooms with air conditioning and 3 bathrooms , patio, a garden with wine pergola, barbeque and Finnish sauna avaible from 15 of october is under construction avaible soon.
A living room with sofa an handmade terracotta floor, fire place, evokes typical Italian country houses. French doors lead to a patio with a table seating up to eight people. Kitchen is well equipped.

Really lovely rustic property - location is excellent, only an hour drive from the airport yet so peaceful. The pool was absolutely amazing and cleaned daily by the owner so it was loved by all members of the family (even the 5 month old). Would really recommend for family’s looking for a getaway.

A lovely property in a stunning setting. Very rustic and traditional but with modern conveniences. Beautiful pool in an amazing setting with views over the surrounding countryside.Sabrina was lovely and gave us lots of info as well as sharing her home grown artichokes and eggs with us. She visits every day tending to her crops and maintaining the garden with her lovely dogs who are very friendly. The weather wasn’t kind to us during our stay but the house was very relaxing to stay in and a 3 day trip to Rome to see the sites was a nice distraction.Lovely local pizza restaurants and bread shops make shopping and eating out easy and the local wines from the supermarket are very cheap and excellent quality.We very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful

We loved our stay in this wonderful farm house! So many interesting historic places to visit in the area, beautiful vistas all around. The home was welcoming as was the host. We actually hated to leave and hope to visit again in the future.

A week in the Lazio Sunshine

We had a wonderful week relaxing with fabulous local food and wine. Our host was really helpful and there were plenty of suggestions for local restaurants... and we enjoyed many of them. The holiday was very peaceful, in a beautiful rural setting.

Idyllic rural location with a magnificent pool

We spent a week at Agriturismo Surya with our two daughters (aged 20 and 18). The location is absolutely stunning with amazing views across the countryside. The pool is a huge highlight - its' enormous, super clean and so peaceful. The house is very rural so super peaceful but you need a car. Good location about 40 minutes from lots of towns. Sabrina is so so helpful and suggested lots of things to do from wine tasting to town visits. Highly recommend for a quiet holiday in a stunning setting

Wonderful

From the moment we arrived, Sabrina and James made us feel very welcome. Despite the incredible heat, we had a great stay. The house was comfortable, Sabrina and James were always on hand if we needed something sorting out, the pool was great and the scenery magnificent. Although in a small village we didn't feel isolated - plenty of restaurants and facilities within a 15 minute drive - but certainly a place to get away from it all. And the pets were very welcoming, especially Pippo!

Magic!

This property is in a wonderful rural location, green and quiet, secluded and private. The views and the pool were magic, birdlife and wildlife interesting. The owner is very helpful and responsive, shares organic produce and information in equal proportions! The villa is perhaps more suited to 4 than 7 given the seating facilities in the living area.

Wonderful family holiday!

We had such a lovely holiday; the first week we were joined by our adults sons, daughter in law and 10 month old grandson and it was so special. Although Italy was having a heatwave there are lots of places to sit in the shade and we really appreciated the air conditioning at night. The pool is wonderful; large but not too deep so the more energetic could swim lots of lengths but we could also walk around playing games with Louis as he 'swam'. We also managed some family evenings out; the Belvedere was so lovely and so baby friendly. While the house is in a quiet area it was easy to get the train to Rome for a day of sight seeing; thanks to Sabrina for helping us plan this. Sabrina and James are great hosts; discrete but helpful. A wonderful holiday !!

WOW fell in love.........

We were welcome like we were family Sabrina, James and the gorgeous puppies. We had a very stressful time getting to Rome but as soon as we saw the villa, the pool and the amazing views all the stress flew away. We had the most incredible time celebrating my husband's 40th and James and Sabrina came to celebrate with a bottle of bubbles. My 3 year old learn how to swim in the pool and ran around the beautiful acres with the dogs and fed the chickens.....and the sunsets are something else.....we completely fell in love with the place and with Sabrina and James.............we will definitely be back 100%........very highly recommended.....x

Real silence still exists

A comfortable country style house, with views like a painting. The lovely smell of beautiful plants and flowers. Grapes, figs, apples and blackbarries in abundance to pick, a wonderful swimming pool, hammocks to relax in, several idyllic places equipped with garden furniture to sit and eat and the sound of silence... But only 10 minutes by car to the supermarket, the village Magliano Sabina, and a Red Cross emergency room. An affordable restaurant/pizzeria at two minutes drive. We visited the Marmore waterfalls in Terni, we went to Viterbo, Narni, Rome and some small authentic villages where hardly any tourists go and where you are the main attraction. The only downside: lots of mosquitoes in the house and many more in the garden. We were eaten alive. So bring/buy something to keep them away. Thank you Sabrina for letting us enjoy your property of seven hectares.

Beautiful Holiday

We booked a 2 week stay with our two adult children (23,18). Everything was lovely. It looked just like the pictures online. Sabrina and James were the perfect hosts. They showed us around the property, pointed us in the direction of the local grocery store and left some guides of things to do nearby. We were the perfect distance from Rome, Florence and Naples and got to see smaller towns like Vitterbo and Orvieto (2 towns I highly recommend). The town of Magliano Sabina is amazing with history dating back to the 8th century. A docent at the archeological museum showed us the museum, including a rooftop view of the city, and back rooms that most visitors do not get to see. She also introduced us to an amazing local artist and we got a private showing of his sculptures. The restaurants in Magliano are top notch. We especially recommend La Pergola and the Hotel Sabina Ristorante. We were traveling with a child who has Celiac disease and we’re pleased to find a plethora of gluten free options at restaurants everywhere we went. Our stay at Agriturismo Surya was amazing and wonderful with beautiful views and lots of great things to do. 10 out of 10-highly recommend!

Beautiful Villa in perfect setting

One of the best vacations we ever had: we stayed in the Villa for 5 days and it was beautiful. Located at the end of rural road, overlooking a beautiful countryside with terrific sunsets. Quiet, just the animal sounds you expect from the country. A patio for breakfast or dinner, a pergola covered with grapevines, fruit bearing trees. A salt system pool big enough to swim laps yet not too deep. A renovated villa with character, charmingly decorated, well equipped with dishwasher, washer and all you need for vacation cooking. Four bedrooms, the upper level with terrific views, three nice bathrooms. The upper level has AC but, despite traveling in July with temperatures around 30 C, we did not really need it, just using the shutters and windows to keep the sun out during the day and the air flowing during the cooler evenings. All windows have screens, keeping mosquitoes out of the house (we only experienced some mosquitoes during dusk, no problems in the morning or during the day). Sabrina and James were very helpful and friendly - we could not have asked for better hosts. Close to Rome (1h by car or train), Orvieto (about one hour), Siena (about 2h) and the hidden gems of the Lazio and Umbria. We highly recommend it and would go there again.

Charming gathering place

We enjoyed our stay at the agriturismo surya very much! The views were lovely. And the home was artsy and charming. Sabrina was helpful with directions and such… I’d planned to take the train into Rome but she gave directions to easy parking on the outskirts of Rome that was very manageable. She was very responsive to our needs and we enjoyed their sweet little dog!

La quiétude en chanteresse

Vaste propriété, remplie d'oliviers et de figuiers, les vignes sont proches. La vue est absolument merveilleuse et le calme absolu. Idéal pour refaire ses batteries. Nos hôtes tout proche respectaient notre intimité. La maison mise à notre disposition est grande et ancienne (avec certaines contraintes au niveau électrique notamment) mais dispose de tout le confort souhaitable

Grazie per aver recensito la proprietà ed aver apprezzato i paeseggi, la casa e la privacy. Quello che non è veritiero è il limite dell energia elettrica, per questo mi trovo non d'accordo,la casa ha 6kw più 5 di impianto fotovoltaico totale 11 kw non mi sembra poco!. Avete usato l energia di casa, che è un contratto di azienda agricola, con tariffa alta di notte 0,50 c por watt, per ricaricare le 2 macchine elettriche h24,senza neanche chiedere se fosse possibile, ho dovuto spiegare che non era possibile di notte e per questo lo avete scritto nella recenzione cordialmente

Es war unglaublich schön und alleine der Pool ist eine Buchung wert.

Da wir nur zu zweit waren, hatten wir jede Menge Platz. Das Haus ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber es war alles sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und funktional. Da es ländlich gelegen ist, muss man natürlich auch mit Mücken rechnen, aber alle Fenster sind mit Fliegengittern ausgerüstet und für die schönen Abende auf der Terrasse oder unter dem Pavillon standen Duftkerzen oder auch Räucherspiralen zur Verfügung. Der Pool wird jeden Morgen von einem Roboter gereinigt und das Wasser durch eine Salzanlage desinfiziert. Dadurch brennen einem auch nach längeren Schwimmen die Augen nicht. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr viele schöne Ausflugziele, die es Wert sind sich ins Auto zu setzen. Aber an erster Stelle haben wir dort die Ruhe genossen und einen sehr entspannten Urlaub gehabt. Die Besuche der netten Hunde und der Katzen, haben uns nicht gestört. Das gehört auf einem Landgut dazu und meist lagen sie eh nur rund um unsere Füße herum, da sie sehr schnell gemerkt haben, dass sie zwar von uns Streicheleinheiten bekommen, aber nichts zu fressen. Wir danken Sabrina und Ihren Lieben für den schönen Aufenthalt und wünschen ihnen weiterhin alles Gute.

A great place for a calming family break

What a beautiful place close by to Rome

We stayed here for 4 nights, Sabrina was waiting for us and she gave us a tour of the house. She prepared for us a fantastic cake and we had the opportunity to taste fabulous fried artichoke for dinner produced directly from her vegetable garden. Sabrina is a very nice host and she was always available during our entire stay The garden around the property is amazing and kept in a very neat way with a huge variety of flowers; fantastic pool ideal for kids and the house is very well decorated with all the necessary for having a fantastic time. If you like sunset don't miss the one you can admire under a pleasant outdoor patio. We will definitely come back in the future!

Our return visit

We loved staying here in 2016 and so came back for what we knew would be a very quiet and relaxing 2 weeks in Sabrina and James' lovely house. We were well looked after, as before, and it was lovely to see Sabrina , James and Simba again and also to meet the adorable Guya ;-)

i start up a little farm, I planted 400 plants of olives trees,a wineyard, fruit trees on 6 ectares of land.When i started to work on it, the land was wild, step by step i started to set lovely gardens on diferents levels.One of its is around the swimmingpool, old roses are togheter a wonderfull collection of blue iris, grasses and flowered bushes. The result of my work is a villa that I rent to the guests and offer them a great time to family and groups of friends.

The villa was build from my family 30 year ago.An architect designed the interior.
I love this area because even if is located in a very silent and quite place in coutryside it is in near Rome,at only 50 km,reacheable by motorway A1 rome - florence or train.This is a rural area with fantastic views and sunsets.Nearby,15 minuts driving, there is an archaelogical site Ocriculum that worth the effort to visit it.
It is possible to book cooking class how to make pizza, lasagne, fettucine,and others.In the basement there is a big profesional kitchen.
