Casa Carra is a 3 double bedroom villa comprising 2 double and 1 twin of which the 2 double are fitted with air-conditioning. It is finished and furnished to a high standard making it appealing to both couples and families.

The villa’s terrace area benefits from all day sun with complete privacy with its own electric/solar panel heated pool and sun-lounge area, built in BBQ and roofed alfresco dining area.

Situated in a peaceful area just a short 15 - 20 minute walk from the main town of Playa Blanca with its sandy beaches, local restaurants, bars and shops. There is a handy well stocked local mini-market just behind the complex.

Although a car is not necessary it may be beneficial. There is parking for 1 car at front door and extra parking on complex.

Taxi fare to town centre approx. 5 euros.

The complex of Las Buganvillas has its own tennis/paddle courts.

Villa clean and tidy and in a very quiet location that was our priority together with a heated pool. Host Christine helpful and responded really well within her limitations being remote.

Casa Carra was in the perfect location. The villa was spacious with super comfortable beds! The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. Outside area was private and peaceful with a lovely heated pool.Christine responded to any questions we had and the on-site management were really helpful with some issues we had upon arrival. Thank you, we look forward to returning.

Escape from winter in UK

Had a very comfortable stay at the villa in Playa Blanca. Had everything one needed. The swimming pool was a real bonus, really warm and well maintained.It’s a reasonably easy walk into town if you don’t have any mobility issues.A few things could do with an update but the property was very clean and the cleaner came weekly to clean through and change linen and towels. Overall would recommend staying at this villa.

Fantastic Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Casa Carra. Everything was lovely and clean and the villa had everything we needed. The area is super quiet which we loved. Our boys (3 & 9) would have happily spent the entire week in the swimming pool if we’d let them! It’s a nice walk to Playa Blanca and wasn’t difficult even with the buggy. Lidl is also within walking distance - takes 15/20 mins depending on how quickly you walk. We’d definitely look to stay here again when we return !

Lovely quiet spacious with plenty of outdoor space

Spacious, clean, well equipped and easy. Pool and outside areas were fab - water warm even in Feb. It's about 20 mins into town so easily walkable but means you can escape the tourists too if you want. Some nice places to eat not far away and beaches at papagayo are well worth the walk. Would also recommend trip to el golfo and the national park.

Everything you could need

Clean, modern and spacious. Everything you could need is available. Nice, quiet area but within 20 minutes you can walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. We will definitely see if this is available the next time we visit Lanzarote.

Lovely property in a relatively quiet area

Lovely property in a relatively quiet area just north of Playa Blanca proper. The pool was a good temperature and there were plenty of sun loungers and outdoor furniture. The supplied towels and bed linens were clean and in good condition. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc, and the appliances were immaculate. There is a car port for parking, and a traditional Canarian-style BBQ, which was clean but the grill is too small and has to be wedged into the brickwork. I think there's probably a metal box or tray missing as I've seen others that have one. There's lots of cupboard and storage space for possessions, and a safe. The TV has lots of UK channels via the set-too box, and the wifi was very good throughout. Overall it's a lovely place in which to stay whilst visiting Lanzarote!

Fantastic holiday in beautiful villa

Our family stayed at the property in August 2023. The villa was absolutely perfect for us and catered for all our needs. The pool was amazing and we used it frequently during our stay. The villa is set in a quiet complex which has cctv throughout. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants - although we did hire a car to get around the island. The villas was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The host and her team were so helpful, getting back to us immediately if we had any queries. We had a brilliant time here and would highly recommend to others.

Perfect

What a great time myself and my family had on our first holiday in playa Blanca, the villa was perfectly situated, very quiet neighbourhood but within a 15-20 minutes walk you have everything you need! Small supermarket just a 5 minutes walk away. The pool was perfect for children and adults alike (deep end being 1.4 metres). Christine was quick to reply to any questions we had and was very helpful. We have already been looking at dates to come back, thank you for out stay at casa Carra and as a family we are so glad we chose this one!

5 Star villa in a brilliant location

Just returned from a 26 night stay at Casa Carra and overall the experience from start to finish was 5 star. The villa was immaculate and is located in the quiet complex of Las Buganvillas about 10-15 mins walk from the main areas of Playa Blanca. The villa is equipped with everything you would need for an enjoyable holiday and the heated pool is the jewel in the crown. The TV in the main lounge has access to all the channels in the UK including numerous sport and video. There is a local shop only a few minutes walk away which supplies all the basics and there are plenty of supermarkets in Playa Blanca. Taxis are plentiful and only cost around 4 €. All in all we had a memorable holiday and we would not hesitate to back to Casa Carra again.

Property is on a quiet, select villa estate. On arrival, it was clean and tidy with all facilities you need. Pool was clean and warm. There was a sign in system on a tablet which was a great idea. The location is slightly out of the main part of town. We didn't have a car, but found it was a 15 minute pleasant walk to town.

Perfect Retreat

Fabulous villa that is accurately described on the listing. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Totally private pool and garden - very peaceful yet only a 15/20 minute walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Communication was first class with the owner. We were a couple only (no kids for a change!!) and it was perfect but villa would suit families equally. Overall faultless and would love to return.

Ideal property for our family holiday

Loved our stay at casa Cara suited our needs. Lazy days around the pool very quiet peaceful area. A 20 minute walk takes you into Playa Blanca plenty of fab places to eat and drink. Loved Playa Blanca lovely cosmopolitan vibe. Great communicatiin with owner who was quick to sort out some minor issues.

Amazing villa for a fantastic holiday

Fantastic villa with everything you could need or ask for provided. Beds very comfortable and the two double rooms a very good size especially the master bedroom with its own patio. Outside space is great with a lovely garden area, super comfy dining area and of course the solar heated pool. The pool was amazing as the heating system meant that it was always a joy to get in to even on the couple of days we had of cloudy weather we could spend ages in the pool without getting cold. Loads of bits and bobs to play with in the pool such as floats and balls which was good as meant we didn’t need to go and buy loads of stuff when we got there. All the appliances are to a high standard and the dishwasher was great for us as we spend a lot of time at the villa with no wash up required. Lovely welcome pack on arrival with a tea and coffee tray, water, juice, milk and even beer and wine which was not only a very thoughtful nice touch but would also mean that if arrived late could get by until got the chance to go shopping the next morning. The owner is so friendly and so quick to reply before the holiday and when we had a couple of minor issue on arrival I had a response within minutes and a couple of things I let her know about on return something not to be underestimated when staying in a villa. The information that is provided before arrive is very thought out and informative and the villa felt very safe. About a 25 minute walk in to the resort centre if happy to walk but taxis only about €3.50 and easy to call and get. If we wanted to stay in playa Blanca again this would be the first villa we would want to return to.

We live in Scotland with our 4 children and grandchildren.

We have enjoyed holidaying in different countries but decided to make Playa Blanca the place for our "Place in the Sun".

We have always found Playa Blanca to be suitable as a holiday destination with fantastic facilities in the area for families and couples alike. It is a comfortable resort with a friendly atmosphere where you can either chill out or be a bit more adventurous.

There are some beautiful beaches and in addition to the town centre the marina boasts a great range of shops and restaurants. There really is something to suit everyone here. Activities to choose from include the beaches, Timanfaya, day trip to Fuerteventura, waterparks, camel rides, water sports, cycling and many more.

Away from the hustle and bustle but near enough if you want it, this is an ideal location to enjoy and explore from.

The area is easily accessible with Arreciffe airport less than an hours drive away.
