Welcome to Sea Colony 16A! Your peaceful Primary Bedroom Suite with an ensuite bath will whisk you away to restful sleep. Kids and guests will love the freshly refurnished guest bedroom and sofa bed. You'll have all the basics you need at Sea Colony 16A to either prepare meals at home or walk to the nearby Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar. Enjoy the beach right in your front yard.



Long known as an economical Oceanfront Community, Sea Colony offers one of the most spacious and lush grounds you will find in any other Oceanfront complex and features a beautiful oceanfront pool and private walkway to the beach. Sliding glass doors with a full front window wall create indoor-outdoor living space in the family room. You will love spending time on the large 9x15 balcony while you feast your eyes on the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the community gazebo, oceanfront pool, and wonderful landscaping with expansive green lawns. The location has easy access on and off the island, avoiding heavy season traffic by using Dow Rd. Ample-lighted parking for 2 vehicles in the parking area requires a fully displayed parking pass at all times. The HOA does check frequently during the season to protect your right to park there as a guest. Vehicles not displaying a pass will be towed.

Living Room SmartCast Vizio TV, allows for changing the Input to Smartcast to stream from NetFlix, HBO Max, AmazonPrime, etc. Use your own log-in credentials to be able to log into these apps and stream on the living room TV.

Kitchen: Fully equipped, Full-size refrigerator, electric range, Microwave, Double Sink

Dining Area: Table w/ 6 chairs

Primary Bedroom Suite: King bed, Double Nightstands, Dresser with Mirror, Writing desk, Console and TV with Cable, Side Chair, En suite Bathroom has Bathtub with Shower, Single Vanity, Toilet

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Check-out is by 10 am. 

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities

Elevator Policies:

Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures. 



Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

No pets allowed.



We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!
