Slope-Side Condo in WP Resort: Ski-in/Ski-out with Shared Hot Tub Access

This newer condo located in Winter Park's new resort village is your perfect getaway with top notch resort amenities at the Base of Winter Park. Enjoy the roof deck which features a pool-sized hot tub, gas grills, and an outdoor fireplace and free WiFi throughout complex. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase a parking spot in the attached heated parking garage

Inside this spacious unit you will find accommodations for five. It features a king-size bed in the primary bedroom. In the family room, a sleeper sofa that sleeps two and an ottoman that folds out to a twin-sized bed perfect for a child or teen. After a day on the mountain, enjoy turning on the fireplace and watching cable on the flat screen TV. Savor a morning cup of coffee on a private balcony. The bath is sure to inspire a soothing soak in the over-sized tub or a calming shower in the separate glass enclosed shower.

Winter Park Resort base village includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 4.1 miles away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 5.6 miles away at Fraser the town of Fraser.

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

Perfect for our families needs for a ski vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was excellent for what we needed. It was clean, convenient, and well-appointed. It is so close to the mountain and village. Its so great to have walking access to everything. We are a family with 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, so we needed separate beds for the boys. It was great to have two different bed options in the unit. High point: the Founders Pointe hot tub is huge and amazing. Areas for improvement: the beds were sufficient for 2 teenage boys tired from days of skiing, but two adults may find them a bit uncomfortable. This is not too surprising and we expected as much.

The unit was spotless, easy to find, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The kitchen had all the essential cooking utensils, pots, and pans ā€” everything we needed.We loved the on-site amenities, especially the new hot tub, which we used almost every day. Having washing machines on the premises was a huge bonus, and the BBQ grills were a nice touch. The location is close to great hiking trails, mountain biking, and other summer activities, yet peaceful enough to truly relax and enjoy some quiet time.A special shoutout to WPM (the rental management company) ā€” they were incredibly easy to work with, responsive, and made the whole booking and check-in process seamless. We couldnā€™t have asked for a better place for a family vacation. Highly recommend this place and will definitely book again!

Great location in winter park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The area is very convenient and only a five minute walk to the gondola. Ski storage available on site or with Winter Park at the base if you rent from them. This was in very close proximity to the Winter Park village with mini restaurants and shops. The bus has good transportation to town if needed. The condominium was very clean, well supplied, communication with the host was excellent. We were able to fit five people on the king size bed, and two pullouts. Fun location next to a sledding hill unofficial) near the parking lot just behind the patio. Parking was very convenient and easy to find in the garage. Elevators fast, the hot tub area was also wonderful and massive. Would be great for a summer stay as well. Highly recommended if needing a small space.

Nice condo right next to the slopes

The condo was great and you couldn't ask for a better location. The Key Code system they use for the condo as well as the public spaces is confusing. I saw a bunch of other people equally as confused. Maybe think about switching it to a simpler 5 digit code?

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was close to hiking, the gondola, restaurants and shopping. It was clean and quiet. The management company called to be sure we were aware that the hot tub wasnā€™t available due to construction. Very responsive and helpful!

Quick Ski Getaway

Great location. Adding the garage is a must and access using QR code worked well. Hot tub is huge and well heated. The jets were not working at the time and looks like they may have not worked for a while. Right across the street from the resort and very walkable. Unit was clean and everything was in working order. Ski locker available in lower level was very handy. Overall we loved our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a terrific place to stay fory ski trip. It was fairly well equipped. I appreciated the full size refrigerator and found that a two burner stove was adequate. The only 'oven' was a toaster oven which was on top of the refrig and there was no extension cord to plug it in at the nearest plug there so I moved it to the countertop. It took up all the space and the opening and shelf of it were a bit funky. The only metal pan I found was much too big to fit in it but there was a glass baking dish that worked okay. The dishwasher and silverware drawer are in each other's way but with practice you'll figure it out. It was great to have coffee filters, coffee, cream and sugar provided. The porch was a welcome spot to enjoy the fresh air. The fireplace heated the condo up quickly and I never used the central heat. There were plenty of fresh linens, hot water a shower and a deep tub. I kept one of 3 humidifiers running anytime I was in the unit and found that beneficial. The overall building needs upgrades; the water tastes bad, the hallway rugs are filthy and thread bare, and the gorgeous hot tub needs to be resurfaced asap. The location of this condo was terrific with just a few steps to the gondola. The underground parking is decent but outrageously expensive (not the condo owners fault)

Convenient Location/Stay

The property was very convenient for skiing. It was clean with extra sheets and blankets for teens to sleep on the pull out sofa and ottoman. We were able to get extra towels when requested. We would stay at this location again for our next skiing trip at Winter Park. We had a good experience.

Although we were a little cramped, it did sleep 5 well. Go with hood friends and family that donā€™t mind being close to one another and it will be good. It was clean and there were enough towels and sheets for all. We were happy there were 2 box fans in the closet we used, as it was a little on the hot side.

Great stay

We had a great time staying in this condo at Founderā€™s Pointe. It was clean, plenty of space for us and our two little ones, and the location was perfect. The huge bath tub was a plus as well. Will definitely be coming back!
