The newly renovated Casa Medronho is a detached 4 bedroom Vila in a peaceful location close to the village of Moncarapacho and beautiful island beaches. With a private pool (4,60x9,20), garden and bbq area, it is the perfect holiday accommodation for couples, a large family or two families wishing to stay together.

The spacious accommodation, sleeping 8 in total, complete with Air Conditioning, is comprised of an en-suite double room, twin room with bunk beds and family bathroom on the ground floor, and 2 twin/doubles to the first floor, one with a terrace and views across countryside, and 2 shower rooms.

The living space is traditional yet light, a fully fitted kitchen complete with microwave and dishwasher, a dining table and useful utility room with washing machine and iron with ironing board. The kitchen leads through to a good size lounge/diner which opens on to a patio area for outside dining and also to the enclosed pool area with countryside views.

There is an outside dining area with BBQ and a pizza oven, and a ping pong table is also available for guests to use.

It is recommended that you hire a car when you stay at Casa de Medronho, and also for driving to all the beautiful and interesting places further away. Being close to Moncarapacho and the fishing port of Olhão, there are many restaurants to choose from, choices such as local seafood, traditional cuisine, tapas and pizza. A relaxing walk down the seafront and marina, there is also a lovely ice cream parlour.

A selection of beaches can be reached within 10 to 15 minutes by car, including various deserted lagoons and beaches with facilities. The Islands of Culattra, Armona and Farol can be reached by ferry boat from Olhao, 5km away.There are excellent golf courses within 10 to 25 minutes drive from the accommodation. The closest is Colina Verde and further afield are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei. The more popular golf courses west of Faro can be reached within 30 minutes.

Check in is from 16.00 and check out is by 10.00, however please talk with us at the time of booking if you need some flexibility as we are always happy to help.
