A quiet retreat. 1 bedroom 1 bath (with tub/shower) apartment with living room, kitchenette bar area with stools. Large TV with all premium channels and WIFI. Desk and chair
Expansive private deck with BBQ looks out over the hills and has outside dining and lounge chairs.
The apartment is downstairs of a private home at the end of a cul de sac and is accessed by an exterior staircase. There is space for 1 car off street parking. This is a very safe quiet neighborhood. Coffee, tea, 1/2 & 1/2, misc. sugars provided.
Please be aware as the property is in the hills there are stairs - as pictured. Freestanding fireplace is offline and not useable.

It was quiet and comfortable. Parking was easy and the unit had everything I needed. Things to cook with, dishes, entertainment, and space for all my things for the week and easy check in. Christine was very gracious and kind. Will come back again.

Great stay

Two nights with lovely views, a huge deck, and a spacious unit and bathroom. Christine and Winston are delightful. It was perfect for us because we were always eating out (it's not a full kitchen) and if you're going to be around to enjoy the deck you'll love it even more.

Great guest house on a beautiful property

This is a beautiful, clean, well-equipped little spot! The view from the deck is heavenly. Christine was an excellent host and left us with very clear instructions and made sure we had what we needed. Recommended!

It was exactly as described. As I anticipated it was a little tight for big people and the many stairs led to a beautiful view. The host was very easy to communicate with.

Enjoyable stay in Eagle Rock

We especially loved the deck. The kitchenette is a bit limited, and getting luggage up and down the winding steps is a little tough, but the place is otherwise really nice. Comfortable bed, efficient layout, helpful host, good location.

Cute and spacious

For a one bedroom, this rental has a lot of living space. The bathroom was huge and the shower had excellent water pressure. Everything was spotless! I would definitely stay here again!

Great place in the Eagle Rock Hills

Enjoyed our place at Christine's place. Convenient location to visit all points in the LA area. Eagle Rock has tons of great places to eat. The property is exactly as advertised and what the other reviews state. Well equipped. Would stay there again.

Great location, very clean and quiet

It was just as advertised. Beautiful views from the deck—especially as the sun was going down. Great location for us. The neighborhood was very quiet, which made the stay also pleasant. Christine was very easy to communicate with and nice to chat with also.

Comfort and Privacy at a Great Price

I was in town for one week to visit family and needed a place to crash and have my morning coffee. This small apartment was perfect! It is a little gem. The deck has a lovely view and is so peaceful. What's more, Christine is a perfect host. She made sure I had everything I needed and that my stay was comfortable. I would definitely return to Christine's little apartment with a view.

Marvelous apartment that was roomy and quiet - an oasis when visiting the big city.

Wonderful and charming place to spend the week. We were in town for my son's wedding in a nearby neighborhood so the location was perfect. Loved the spacious apartment, the view and the garden. Spent mornings on the deck soaking up the sunshine. Cheerful and well lit, with good kitchen options so we ate in a night or too. Christine is a fountain of knowledge about the area and most helpful with recommendations. We were sad to leave. Definitely recommend it!!

A great place with a great hostess in a quiet place surrounded by nature

We came to LA for a 6 days vacation stay. We really appreciated the apartment/house with much light, space, a deck to take meals and relax, air conditioning, easy parking in front of the house in a very quiet and beautiful environment. When we did not want to cook, we enjoyed a few meals outside in Old Pasadena, close by (by car), very nice with shops and restaurants (we appreciated Russell's restaurant for the good quality/price ratio and relaxed environment). The house is very accessible from LAX and connecting to various highways to go around. And last but not least, our hostess Christine was very helpful answering all our questions on shopping, restaurants...and very welcoming and nice. We would love to come again to this place during another vacation and recommend it highly.

Our home away from home

Located right in the middle of anything you do. I always enjoy staying with Christine when we visit family. Everything we need is there, PLUS that deck with such a fabulous view! It’s so relaxing. Schedule time to stay in a day to experience where you’re paying to stay.

Perfect location for us. Very safe, quiet and clean. Loved the deck. Nice sized bathroom, lots of amenities provided. Would definitely stay again. Three minor issues: 1) couches have no legs and sat very close to floor (need very sturdy knees). 2) lighting could be improved in LR - very dark. No reading lamp. 3) Even though several people liked the Murphy bed, we found ,it hard as a rock. Thanks Christine!
