Plenty of room to relax or work if you're so inclined in the private guest suite with over 700 square feet. One bedroom with a new king sized bed and a Lazy Boy sofa bed. This is perfect for four people. Gas fireplace and Colorado decor make you feel right at home in the Rocky Mountains. Newly installed ceiling fans keep you cool in the summer months. Recently remodeled kitchenette with two burner cooktop, Keurig coffee maker, filtered hot/cold drinking water, mini fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, crock pot, and electric griddle. Snacks and games, plus 52" flat screen satellite TV and NetFlix make this a good home away from home. Full sized laundry machines available if you get muddy playing on Pikes Peak. Driveway parking, and fabulous fenced backyard with lush grass for kids to play or make snow angels in the winter, a huge deck with comfy furniture to watch the sun set behind Pikes Peak, gas grill, fire pit (let us know and we'll hook you up with marshmallows) and an amazing Koi pond with waterfall (very zen!) A variety of outdoor activity equipment is available for your use including snowshoes, sleds, ladder ball, croquet, etc. Ask us if there is something you are interested in. We have a small friendly dog that would be happy to accompany you on your walk on one of the many trails at Cottonwood Park just minutes from our house. BingHaus is located in a very quiet safe neighborhood but for your extra peace of mind security cameras are located around the entire property with 24 hour monitoring. There are monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, and a fire extinguisher in BingHaus as well as multiple escape options in case of an emergency.

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Bing Haus. Lyssa and Dan were very nice and were there when needed. We would stay there again if in the area.

Fantastic place to stay!

The house was very nice and clean. Great for a dog with the fenced yard. The owners were wonderful! When we go back to Colorado Springs, we will definitely stay there.

A haven in the middle of Colorado Springs

The property was so close to a lot of major tourist attractions, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds and more. Very private and cozy. The wash machine and dryer a blessing. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Amazing

My hubs and I were thrilled with our stay. It is everything that was posted. Lynn and Dan were amazing hosts. This is a convenient location to all the hot spots you may want to do. We felt safe and warm in this home. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay with your partner, this is it.

Lovely

I had a delightful stay at Binghaus. Lyssa and Dan were perfect hosts. Johnny on the spot when help was required. There accommodations were just right for a single girl traveling alone. Safe. Clean. Comfy. Lyssa's attention to detail was spot on. I didn't want for anything.

Perfect place at a great price

We were in town to visit our daughter and new grandbaby. This place was perfect for me, my husband and 12 year old. We were truly lucky to fine this place within a mile of my daughter's small apartment. While we did not spend too much time here nor did a lot of sightseeing, the accommodations were perfect. Very comfortable and roomy. The host and hostess thought of everything. Fresh water, coffee etc. Lots of little touches and decorating made the place very interesting. The place is also very clean! We are hoping to return to Colorado (unless we can convince our daughter to move back to Wisconsin) soon. When we do, we would love to stay at the BingHaus!

Wonderful people and comfortable stay

The wonderful owners of Bing Haus have made this into the most comfortable basement apartment possible. They have thought of every amenity. The drawbacks are that it is still their basement with no outside door or kitchen sink. You need to enter through the big garage door, as the garage has no utility door to the outside either. They have made the most of the space, but the kitchen is a micro wave with a mini fridge on the counter. The sink is in the laundry room. We loved Colorado Springs and our dog was very welcome here.

Cozy, beautiful yard, great hosts, perfect location, gorgeous view!

Absolutely wonderful! BingHaus was clean, welcoming and very cozy. We settled in fairly quickly and began enjoying what it had to offer. Loved the huge, comfy couch with recliner's on both ends! My sister is a big coffee drinker so having the Keureg coffee pot was great. Loved being able to wash clothes before leaving so I had less to do when I got home :) BingHaus was located right in the middle of everything we wanted to do and the access we had to the city was awesome. All our activities were 5 - 45 mins away so we were able to do all that we wanted to. I can't stress enough how nice and accomadating the owners were! Just an all around fantastic trip and stay! Thanks BingHaus for having us and we hope to be back someday! Shelly, Shannon and Chase : )

Amazing Place With the Most Amazing People

We stayed at the Binghaus last weekend and we had a blast! Lyssa and Dan are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet and beyond welcoming to our little family. Our children loved everything about this place, especially the back yard and Miss Lucy. The location is great and within 20 minutes of all the places we went to...... the zoo, Garden of the Gods and Santas Workshop. There were amazing restaurants close by as well. They've pretty much thought of everything you might need and make sure it's there for you to use. We could come and go as we pleased and felt like we were at home. We are already planning another trip to Colorado Springs for next Fall and we will be staying here at the Binghaus for sure! Lyssa and Dan..... thank you both so much! Lots of memories for sure!

Wonderful stay for USAFA Parent's Weekend!

Before we arrived in COS, Lyssa assisted us when we added 2 extra people as well as extra days into our itinerary. The place was immaculate and the bed was super big and comfortable. We loved the decor and the super soft towels and linens! Great water pressure in sinks and showers. No need for air conditioning...the ceiling fans made it very comfortable. Quiet and secure in a good neighborhood with parking right in front of your apartment entrance. Huge flat screen TV with Direct TV and Netflix. Lyssa & Dan found folding chairs for us to use for an outdoor concert, and found a cooler for us to use as we drove back and forth to the Parent's Weekend at USAFA. Close to shopping, restaurants and activities, and less than 15 minutes from the academy. We were very comfortable at BingHaus during our stay!

Some of the Nicest People in Colorado

The Bingmans are two of the nicest and most thoughtful people you will ever meet. The rental is cleaner than clean, and the bed is comfortable. You'll need a fan if you're there in the hottest part of the summer. Enjoy a cup of tea by the fountain in the beautiful back yard. It's a great way to start your morning. My only criticism is that it's a little less private than I am used to, since the owners live right above the unit. But they are amazing people who will make your stay very comfortable. I was in town for a conference, and they even let my dog out to play in the yard while I was gone! That is definitely above and beyond, and I know my dog was thrilled.

Colorado Roadtrip

WOW! What a great place to stay and what great owners!!!!! Lyssa and Dan are great hosts and shared with us a lot of information about things to see in the Colorado Springs area. They definitely thought of everything to make our stay in their apartment very comfortable. There wasn't anything that we needed. Everything was tastefully decorated and the furniture was very comfortable. The towels in the bathroom were very high quality and there was a large supply of them. Their outside yard was beautiful and we enjoyed meeting their little dog, Lucy. Their location is great. It's a safe area and it was close to shopping and restaurants. It was great to be able to park our car in their driveway. If we're ever in the the Colorado Springs area again, we'll definitely want to stay at the Bing Haus. Thanks Lyssa and Dan for everything.

An absolute must!

When looking for the most perfect place to stay in Colorado Springs, look no further than "The BingHaus". Lyssa, Dan and their beloved little Lucy are your perfect hosts. Honestly, we made the best choice over any hotel; so do yourself a favor and do not hesitate to reserve time here. The location is in a beautiful safe neighborhood close to all attractions in the Pike's Pike Region, not to mention some of the best places to enjoy a relaxing dinner at many venues nearby especially in downtown Old Colorado City. Oh, and don't worry about what you may need inside your accommodations at The BingHaus because Lyssa has thought of everything, she's just that amazing - there is nothing lacking. Comfortable sofa to relax on while enjoying the warmth from a gas fireplace on cooler nights, Large TV with Netlfix too. WIFI connection was great for checking up on my emails. The suite has everything at your fingertips, including upgraded bedding for a good night's rest, kitchen area that even offers complimentary K-cup coffee and a Laundry room filled with a full range of detergents for your use at a small utility fee. No need to pack your closest in your suitcase ladies! We felt very welcomed and would love to return some day. Thanks again Bingman family - you helped provide the perfect vacation stop. May God bless you all in the years to come.

Bing Haus Vacation

My husband and I vacationed in Colorado Springs for about a week. The Bing Haus was perfect for our needs as we preferred a kitchenette to warm up several of our meals, thus cutting down the expense of eating out. The toaster oven was great along with the microwave. We had plenty of ice that we made, the fridge was adequate. Loved having coffee in the morning and the water dispenser available. There was no sink in the kitchenette however, that was not much of an issue for us as the utility sink was adequate and just a few steps away, tucked in the laundry room. Lyssa and Dan's home was well appointed with comfortable couches after a long day of site-seeing and hiking. The docking station for our electronic's were a nice touch. The bedroom was good size but would have loved more drawer space for our clothes given the length of our visit. The only negative for us was the very soft mattress in the bedroom, we would have preferred a mattress with more support. Loved the bathroom, lots of towels, wash clothes, rugs etc. Everything was nice and clean along with gorgeous antiques. The place was beautifully decorated and our hosts were wonderful. Thank you for everything! FYI I had to call VRBO to try to review our stay as my search engine Safari would not allow me to open review. Called VRBO who informed me that with a Mac Computer you must go through Google Chrome to send an evaluation on your stay.

4th of July Vacation

we had an amazing time. The property was beautiful and cozy. Lyssa and Dan were so sweet and helpful. We will be staying here again when we visit Colorado next.

Don't get a Hotel room!

Very nice property. The fireplace was right on time in taking the bite off the cold. The only thing to keep in mind if you stay here is there is not a stove, oven or full size refrigerator if you require one on your stay. The accommodations met our needs as we only slept here and visited at my son's place all week. It does give you the opportunity to have a place that is nice to retreat to.

Great stay for PRK

I had my eye surgery at the Air Force Academy and everything was great. We had a very nice stay for my recovery and would recommend Binghaus to any and everyone one.

Wonderful Stay!

Bing Haus was so cozy and comfortable! I was gone most of the time during the day and looked forward to coming back every night. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the sheets were so soft. The space was the perfect size and very clean. The bathroom was just the right size as well and in the shower they have a dispenser for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was so nice to see! They have coffee there and treats for a cheap price (or free with a selfie!). Lyssa and Dan were wonderful hosts and I felt so comfortable knowing they were just upstairs. I hope to stay here again in the future and I can not recommend this place enough! :)

Beautiful Comfortable stay in Colorado Springs

BingHaus is very comfortable with a beautiful garden/yard that is very relaxing with a great view of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods. Lyssa and Dan were very helpful hosts. The living room and the bedroom were very inviting. The kitchen and the shower were minimal and clean.

1st experience-perfection!!

This was the 1st time I have used VRBO to find a vacation rental and I was absolutely thrilled with the whole experience. We were met by the property owner Lyssa and shown around the property, which looked exactly like the photos online-picture perfect. We toured the back yard at which time we were also greeted by Dan and their little dog Lucy! The place was perfect for our needs, comfy bed and all the amenities to prepare us for our daily adventures. One evening Lucy woke us up with barking early in the am and the next day Dan caught us before we left for the day and apologized and shortly thereafter Lyssa texted an apology, which we appreciated but was not necessary. We even took advantage of a tip on a wonderful spot to eat in the area and were not disappointed!! I can not say enough good things about this property and our trip, if there were more stars to give I would give them more. Thanks again Dan and Lyssa for making a long overdue vacation even more special!! I will most definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to vacation in the Colorado Springs area!! Bing Haus is the best!!!

Happy at the Bingman's

They met us as we arrived and showed us around and welcomed us to use their garden area in the rear. It was BEAUTIFUL and a view of Pikes Peak too. The downstairs apartment was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed for the week. I cooked breakfast every morning and dinner every night. They had everything I needed to do my cooking. And the bed was so comfy. Would recommend their place to everyone. Very welcoming and homey.

Will definitely stay again!

This place is just as lovely as it is in the pictures. We loved the decor. Cozy and quaint! The kitchen is well equipped and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Lisa is so friendly and helpful! We are vendors at Territory Days and this was the perfect place to come to after a long hard day!
