Charming Mountain Cottage.

Perfect destination for individuals, friends, family, retreat groups of 6, athletes and nature lovers. Come unwind, relax, and find refuge from stress and distractions of everyday life. Situated 35 miles (43 minutes) from St. George Utah. Nestled in the oaks of Pine Valley Utah. Our tranquil cottage provides an opportunity for our guest to experience the healing and restorative powers of nature. For years people have traveled to the historical and beautiful town of Pine Valley to enjoy the natural beauty and quiet serenity of the mountain.
Now there is a place for you to stay and unwind.
In addition to the beautiful surroundings, our guest will enjoy our warm and cozy cottage. Our well appointed cottage is furnished in a farm house style.
Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen as you view the wonder from the large kitchen window. Three bedrooms, two and half bathrooms, sleeps up to 6 people.
Master Suite has a king size bed, double french doors onto the porch and a beautiful master bathroom with antique claw foot tub, vanity, large walk-in shower.
Two bedrooms up stairs with queen beds share a jack and Jill bathroom. Large walk-in shower with a view of the mountain.
Downstairs is the half bath next to the laundry room with full size W/D.
Cottage is equipped with land line phone, free WiFi, smart TV, satellite TV, gas fireplace and central heat and air-conditioning.
Bask in the year round splendor. Enjoy the brilliant autumn show of changing leaves, the peaceful winter blanket of soft snow, sit on the porch watch the new beginnings of spring and the wildlife that have a natural crossing. Summer is full of life, hiking, fishing, biking, running, camping, and historical tours of the oldest LDS chapel in operation.
Pine Valley Cottage is the ultimate place for you to breathe, rejuvenate, meditate, play, paint, read, write, hike, bike, run or just trek around. Rediscover your self, reconnect with family or simply practice the art of doing nothing.
So whatever brings you to this beautiful area....or you simply crave a transformation come be our guest at the Pine Valley Cottage. We will do our best to make sure you feel right at home and have a pleasant stay.

We had the most amazing time! Every bed was incredibly comfortable and the amount of intention was incredible. We most appreciated the attention to detail to having everything we needed. We also appreciated the treat that was left for us in the fringe! It was delicious. Every bathroom was fully stocked, it was as if you can just show up and the house will take care of you. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to come back!

“We never want to leave this beautiful cottage!”

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful oasis! We arrived and were surprised to be greeted by a deer on the side of the house. When we walked in we were blown away to the attention to detail to make us feel pampered and welcome! There was even pumpkin bread on the table for us! The house itself was decorated wonderfully but most importantly it felt so cozy! They provided everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave. Even my 3 year old said I don’t want to leave this beautiful cottage! They were so accommodating at the end and helped us arrange a pickup after we forgot a bag. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will be back for sure!

Every Comfort of Home and More.

They thought of everything, every corner of the property was intentionally designed and decorated. I loved the bird watching area… Seen blue birds and yellow jays… a few turkeys also! The beds are very comfortable, the coffee area was stocked like Starbucks but better. Every appliance we needed was accessible to cook family style meals. Simply gorgeous and comfortable. We didn't want to leave but are sure we will be back. -Ryan & Life Long Friends

Great second stay!

Our multi-generational family had our second stay at this lovely house while enjoying a Pine Valley snowplay trip. We had a great time last year, and this year proved our memories were accurate. Everything about the property is fantastic and it is a joy to stay there. The sledding, snowshoeing, and snowman building are all fun in the valley, but the real treat is coming back into the cottage, enjoying a meal fixed in the great kitchen, and then family time around the fireplace. Many thanks, Mitzi, for sharing your house with us.

Home away from home

I've stayed at a lot of VRBO's and this was by far the nicest, most homey, and thoughtfully appointed house I've stayed in. Mitzi has clearly thought of everything from lots of charging plugs for phones, etc., and all the items a kitchen needs for having wonderful meals by the fireplace. her communication was great, and she even left muffins for us as a welcome gift. We are already to book another stay later this year!

Nice house - lots of deer in the yard

The house is located right next to a "deer crossing" - we eventually lost count of all the deer in the yard, or adjacent to the property throughout the day.

Practically perfect in every way

Magical Place to stay

This place is amazing, beautiful cozy interior. Well stocked kitchen, everything you need to cook right there. We absolutely loved sitting on the deck outside watching all the Wild Turkeys and Deer. Host was very responsive to any questions that we may had. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing, comfortable, beautiful, and fun!

We loved our stay at the cottage. The little touches were so appreciated. There were muffins and other welcoming touches when we arrived. We also really loved the bird watching kit with books and a fabulous set of binoculars. We spent peaceful hours just sitting on the porch watching all the birds. We also saw deer and wild turkeys. The kids loved the games and playing in the yard. We all appreciated the cleanliness and soft comfortable beds. We love Pine Valley and this was one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. We will definitely try to come back!

Great retreat for any season

This home is top notch. The title of "cottage" is a perfect descriptor for the ambiance of this delightful property, but rest assured it is a comfortably spacious 3 bedroom home with an excellent floor plan and great porches. Our 3 generation group (grandparents, daughter, almost 4 yr old grandson) fit very comfortably. Most reviews appear to be from the warmer seasons, so let me note that we stayed in mid-winter for a long weekend focused on snow play. The cottage is great in winter! The parking and access were fine on the outside, the heat, hot water, and fireplace very comfortable on the inside (ok, my husband was a bit cold grilling the hamburgers on the nice grill outside for that meal, but hey, that's not the owner's fault :-)). A snowstorm came in our last night there, dropping 6 to 8 inches of fresh powder, but the street was plowed first thing in the morning. The snow play was hugely successful, with the sleds kindly provided by the owner delighting the grandson, and we also did some snow shoeing. Most of the sledding occurred over at the Forsyth Trailhead and in the forest on way to the reservoir. But playing around the house itself was also enjoyable. An additional treat was sitting on the porch when the sun was out, or looking from the beautiful windows, at the many and varied birds at the bird feeder outside. The turkeys even came by. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and the appliances, pots, dishes, etc are all very nice and pleasant to use. Be sure to plan your meals carefully and bring your ingredients. Though the owner has graciously provided some staples, etc., you do not want to run to the store for any forgotten necessity. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking in the cottage and dining together around the table, looking outside at the snow. All beds, linens, and towels are excellent. Others have noted the lovely and functional claw footed tub, so I'll note that the two showers are also very nice and spa-like, and the additional half bath is nicely appointed and convenient. Overall, you cannot go wrong here. It was was a great stay and we hope to return.

Serene, Sublime, Perfection!

We were welcomed to our stay with glowing lights, sweet treats, and a perfectly charming and comefortable setting. Not only was the kitchen well appointed with all the tools you could ask for, but there were pleasant little surprises like hot cocoa flavorings and mint truffles. The linens were all crazy comefortable and a suptuous soak in the bear-claw tub was a perfect icing-on-the-cake moment. My hubby and I were both sublimly satisfied with our stay and sincerely had ZERO reservations or complaints. We will definitley visit again!

Perfect for MCAS and other “hidden” disabilities

I am highly allergic to fragrances and Mitzi was absolutely amazing in that she had the whole place cleaned in scent free products. !!! There was a strong scent present when I arrived, but I aired it out and it never came back. (Note that I am HIGHY SENSITIVE so I notice things others do not, and it could just have been scent from the clothes or people cleaning). I also am highly allergic to most foods, which requires me to need all kinds of special food handling, and essentially making all that I eat to ensure I don’t get sick. Because of this, the kitchen was perfect! I also suffer from other physical issues, and the bed in the master bedroom was wonderful! The sheets were the softest I’ve ever slept in, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The tub was perfect for nice soaks! The porch and yard were wonderful and it is a fantastic vacation house! Highly recommend!!

Peace and Beauty

What a lovely place! And so nicely appointed including fresh welcome muffins. The area has a lot to offer with hiking trails and great drives all around. Or just relax in this peaceful house. I loved my stay. Thanks, Mitzi!

Great for a weekend getaway

Beautiful property with all the modern conveniences. Remote but short drive to reservoirs, hiking, fishing or St George area. Wildlife experienced from the porch which the kids loved! We will be back!

Magical beautifully maintained cottage

Our stay at this lovely Pine Valley cottage was truly magic! The owners take such good care of the property and put so many thoughtful details. I loved the fireplace, the cozy bedrooms, the styling of the cottage, gazing at all the little animal friends outside, beautiful starry nights. I can't say enough good things. Great location in between many of Utah's national parks. It's been a few weeks since we've left, I'm still day dreaming about the cottage & our special sister trip to Utah. Thank you Mitzi & hubbie ! Let us introduce ourselves. We are Linda, the oldest daughter of Deke and Irene, and Mitzi, the youngest daughter of Deke and Irene. Despite a 20-year age difference and three sisters between us, we share a love for travel and decorating. In our travels, we have stayed in places that took our breath away as well as some that did not. We know what we like, and we hope you like the same.

We started by purchasing condos in Park City, Utah, which inspired our business name, "Park City Sisters." We have been doing this for about 11 years now. We began with one property that needed some TLC, which gave us a project to feed our "fixer-upper" addiction. We were blessed to discover that the people we provided a great lodging experience to became repeat guests each year. We now have friends from all over the world. We love what we do!

Linda and I are looking forward to welcoming you to the Pine Valley Cottage.

Our cottage adventure began in 2014. On our morning walks, we often passed a neglected home for sale that needed love. The property was on the most beautiful lot in Pine Valley. We made an offer and purchased the house with plans to restore it and give it a new purpose. However, the home ultimately needed to be torn down. Although building new wasn’t our original plan, sometimes things don’t work out as expected.

During the construction of the cottage, we realized that this location had the healing powers of nature. Since then, we’ve been blessed to hear many beautiful stories from our guest and how they’ve been touched by the beauty of Pine Valley.
We look forward to hearing your stories at “The Pine Valley Mountain Cottage.”

The cottage was built in 2016. Our guest have loved the upgrades and personal touches. Its important to us to provide you a unique experience while in Pine Valley. We are close by and happy to help, but .....we value your privacy and won't bother you unless you need us.
Think of us as a hybrid of a Bed and Breakfast.
