"Old Seagrove" Beach House, Just Steps From The Ocean

Your Favorite Old Seagrove Beach House Just Got a Facelift!!

About our beach house:
We named it "Russtic Beach" because it was owned by my grandmother, Lucy Russ, and it's a casual "Old Seagrove" style beach house surrounded by scrub oak trees and palmetto bushes. Newly updated, the house is bright and spacious, with a large open concept kitchen, dining and living area. The main bedroom features 2 queen beds, a walk-in closet and an attached bathroom. The second bedroom features one queen bed, a large closet and a TV. Guests of this room access a separate full hall bathroom. The entire living space is on the 2nd floor - enjoy the evening breeze on the balcony!

While this is a single family home, there is a guest quarters located on the lower level on the back of the carport. There is, at times, a long term tenant in that unit. He doubles as a grounds keeper, as we are not in town. If this would bother you, please inquire as to the status prior to renting.

The house, situated on a quiet street, is for those seeking a restful and private retreat.* Likewise, the beach is never overly crowded (Spring Break and July 4th are exceptions obviously!)

For those who seek the hustle and bustle, never fear! The fun shops, restaurants and bars of Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton, Alys, Rosemary and The Hub are all within 5 miles. Seaside and Watercolor are easily reachable on foot or by bike.

Amenities...
The kitchen includes an oven/range, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee pot and Keurig. The laundry room contains a full size washer and dryer. The HVAC is new and works great! The TVs are smart TVs - we do not have cable. The internet is fabulous - you can definitely work from home here.

One of our favorite things is the very private outdoor shower - perfectly refreshing after a long day at the beach! And, useful for getting the small ones bathed quickly after a day in the sand and water. The house is ideal for families...stocked with bath towels, beach towels, beach toys, indoor children's toys and games. There is also a book share...feel free to take a book and leave a book for future guests to enjoy. There are 3-5 adult bikes available depending on repairs. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys and a wagon for taking items down to the beach.**

Parking...
There is space available for 2 cars. This is not always covered.

*Please note that we do not control construction in the area. While the beach house remains very quiet and restful, we cannot offer refunds if there happens to be a home being built nearby.

**Please note that the rental rate is for the home and attached items. The above described unattached amenities are provided as a courtesy. They are only as good as you treat them for the next guest!! So, please make sure all items make it back to the house from the beach each day. They are replaced annually each May, but no more often than that. Likewise, we do not guarantee that the bicycle tires always have air. There is a pump available for your use.
