The property was just like the photos. Nice, clean,well-appointed, beautiful pool. The pool was not heated upon arrival which was disappointing but host explained how to get it going. One of the 2 toilets (for the 8 of us) did not work properly, the host suggested it might be our fault but once a plumber finally came it turned out to be a broken pipe. VRBO did not really help me in dealing with this major issue and the host was mainly unavailable and then defensive in trying to resolve the issue. I did end up with a small refund which in my opinion did not reflect 6 days of only one toilet to use. I would recommend this property assuming all goes well. If not, prepare for a potentially stressful trip.

This is a spectacular property! The home was immaculate and the kitchen well appointed. The shinning star of this property is the landscape and lighting surrounding the pool that makes it an extension of the home and enjoyable late into the evening. Communication with the host could not have been more accommodating. My stay was5 star . I can’t wait to book again!

Sarasota/Siesta Gem

The Tulip House was the perfect stay for our family of five visiting the area for the holidays. You can’t beat its super convenient location- close to all the shopping, dining, and beaches. The hosts thoughtfully stocked the home with just about anything you could need and were excellent with their communication and hospitality. We’ll most definitely be back!

A Great vacation!

We spent 5 weeks in this lovely house. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious! The owners are always available and responsive for questions and concerns. The house is in a great location and convenient to everything. We enjoyed everything about our visit. Everything is beautifully maintained. The pool was smaller than I expected but deliciously warm and regularly maintained . The outdoor areas are lovely and the backyard landscaped beautifully! We hope to return!

Awesome for a weekend girls trip

We stayed here for my friends bachelorette weekend and it did not disappoint! The beach and downtown is less than 10min away, and grocery stores as well. the beds are very comfortable and the pool was very nice!

Wonderful property and stay

This vacation home is absolutely gorgeous, clean, organized and well located, just 15 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to stores, a mall, excellent restaurants, etc. I highly recommend it for families and for anybody looking to have a wonderful vacation in Sarasota. I’m definitely coming back

July Stay

The house is very cute, had great kitchen tools, clean and pool was as it is in the pictures. We were disappointed in how far it was from the beach. To get to an actual beach for a family to hang out at it’s is a 15-20 minute drive with traffic. It’s affordable and close enough to the beach but if you are looking for beach convinence this is not the place.

We enjoyed our stay~

I originally had the house booked for just 3 people to spend time with family who live in Sarasota. Sadly, last minute we ended up with 7 people staying in the house due to a family death. The listing states sleeps 8 but our experience didn't prove to be the case. The Sleeper Sofa is not in an actual bedroom. It's located in more of a family room setting. The sofa is very old and would probably work well for 2 small children to sleep on but it was not meant for 2 adults. One side of the sofa completely caves in when laid on. Also for us, 2 bathrooms was not enough for 7 people but we made it work. The mosquitos were a huge nuisance while swimming and sitting on the back patio! We bought and applied bug spray often but I got to thinking Florida mosquitos are smart and are actually attracted to bug spray. A few of us got eaten up! Otherwise, we all enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had all the appliances you typically would need. We spent one of the days at the beach, which is a quick 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. The house had enough sand chairs for all of us. I would suggest bringing your own beach towels. There wasn't enough in the house for all of us. There's a cooler in the garage for packing your own food and beverages and also a couple of boogie boards and a beach umbrella. Tip: If you've never been to Siesta Key Beach, I highly recommend arriving early, especially on the weekend. The parking lot, which is huge, fills up quickly. I had excellent communication with Virginia. She is as sweet as can be and available throughout your stay if you have questions or need anything. The house is in a cute, quiet neighborhood just off Tamiami Trail (Hwy 41) - easy access to anywhere you need to go. I would definitely stay here again.

YaYa Girls Get Away

The property and experience was wonderful. It would be nice if you had candles or something to get the mosquitos under control. You also need to rune the trees of the spider nest before they take over your trees. Overall we had a wonderful weekend. We loved the place.

Cute house

The house was very beautiful. Definitely looked bigger in the pictures. At first we thought we would be able to walk places but you definitely need a car. Wish there was more flexibility on the check in/check out times. Very responsive owner.

Fantastic find in near Siesta Key!

My family had a wonderful stay at this property in Sarasota, a very clean and well-kept home with a lovely backyard in a quiet neighborhood. We had lots of fun relaxing in the pool every day after returning from the beach. This home is just around the corner from retail and restaurants, and just a short drive from Siesta Key. Excellent communication from Virginia made our stay easy peasy! Highly recommend, thank you so much!
