It was the perfect launchpad for beach days, exploring New England, or visiting with relatives. We appreciated the beach toys provided (especially the boogie boards). The beach itself is stunning and there is plenty to do at the Boardwalk.Note the property is shared with upstairs neighbors and the foyer is semi-public. That surprised us. But wasn't an issue in practice

Absolutely Gorgeous Beach Front Property

We wanted an intimate place to gather with friends. Charlie is a very gracious host who made us feel at home. We can't wait to come back again!

Salisbury Splendor

Everything included for a perfect vacation! What can be better than walking out the door onto the sand, hearing the surf and gulls, the salty air, the long walks in both directions along the beach, picking up seashells, building castles, bocce - this location was everything we’d hoped for in style, safety and ease. Charlie was an attentive host. ❤️👏

Great location!

Highly recommend this property! It is located right on the beach and great for kids. Beach is beautiful and house was very well maintained and very clean. Charlie was a pleasure to work with. He was very welcoming and responsive.

AWESOME PROPERTY & OWNER

We arrived to a very well-maintained and cleanly house. The location is incredible as you are steps away from the beach and the views from the kitchen/family room are of the sand and ocean! The owner is very responsive and friendly. I'm always a bit nervous when staying at a new rental, but this exceeded our expectations. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation!

absolutely loved it.the thing that would it more perfect , in our opinion , would be to have king sixe beds in all bedrooms & a table in master bedroom to use as a desk or to put on make up & and end table on both sides of the master bed. Charlie is a great guy & host & the cottage and location just fabulous. we loved being there!!!! t

Another excellent vacation!

Last year, in the midst of the pandemic, we found Charlie's wonderful condo and spent one great week relaxing on the beach. This year, while things are opening up, we decided to extend our stay and make it two weeks. The condo was just as we had remembered it. Sparkling clean and well stocked with all of the amenities anyone would need for a great vacation. Charlie couldn't have been a more accommodating host. Affording us absolutely privacy but being there whenever we might need his assistance. My family and I enjoyed our time immensely and the central location meant that if there was anything we wanted from groceries to food delivery, anything we could think of was just a delivery away. I am sure we will be coming back again next year.

Great beachfront getaway – exactly as described

We were looking for a Thanksgiving week family getaway, for a change of location that was still socially distanced due to the current 2020 state of things…. And this was exactly what we needed, and exactly as described. Beautiful ground floor condo in a great location, with a great layout/design. Our kids kept asking if we could live there… very easy to settle in and feel at home. Charlie was a very responsive and easy to work with host. Would not hesitate to stay here again. No hidden surprises here, this is exactly what it looks like on the listing.

Excellent Property and Location!

The property is as amazing as it looks. Very clean, spacious and stocked with all of the things you need to really relax and unwind at the beach. Charlie was helpful during the check in process and also available if we needed anything but we were well on our own for the whole week. I can't say enough positive words about the property, its location and the convenience of everything. I recommend this property whole heartedly.

I want to live here!

This was our second stay at this amazing property. All the pictures are exactly how the house looks. The ocean is literally right outside the door and the views from the great room are spectacular. We actually saw whales swim by! The decor is so soothing, you almost don't want to go outside. It is also fully loaded with linens, towels, and everything you need in the kitchen. The property manager is very responsive. You can walk to Salisbury Center and it is a short drive to Hampton, Newburyport and Portsmouth. Truly amazing experience!

Best house on the beach

This property is as wonderful as it looks. It is, by far, the nicest house on the beach. When we arrived, the home was clean and stocked. Everything worked great, and was easy to use. We liked that the house wasn’t cluttered, but had what we needed. Charlie made it easy to get comfortable, and he was so lovely! Also, the neighbors were very nice and welcoming. The property is accessible to many places. It is only a few minutes from Newburyport, and a short drive from many day trips (Gloucester, Ogunquit, Boston). There is a small Boardwalk just a few blocks away, which our children loved. This is one of our favorite VRBOs of all time. We look forward to coming back!!

A much needed lift during COVID

This place is everything the previous reviews said it was - and more. It was just what I needed to clear my head, relax and recharge. Right on a private beach (perfect during COVID), lots of space for friends and family to visit. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this as a rental if you’re looking for a lots of space, right on th beach and a little slice of heaven. Ev

East coast fun - perfect family week at Salisbury!

Charlie’s place is perfect for families ! (I’m sure couples wouldn’t mind the awesome views and spacious rooms either ;) we needed a spacious place on the water where we could easily take the kids to and fro , sand and back plus plenty of room to cook and play inside while being close enough to MA so that family could stop by for a visit all week we were in town. There are not that many options and thankfully our pick hit on all marks! It’s also a walk to downtown carousel and arcade and of course, Christy’s pizza. Ample parking , pretty , spacious home, great location, well stocked with essentials both interior and exterior. We left a board game behind and I hope the pile continues so we have options for next time ;) enjoy!

Felt like a cruise ship vacation!

Who can complain about waking up on the water every morning? Sheets, towels, beach chairs provided, you name it! It was very convenient for us since we drove all the way up from Florida to escape the heat and enjoy some New England weather. The condo was in immaculate condition and very clean! It was a wonderful experience and a beautiful memory for my family and I. The only downside was that we didn’t stay longer, next year we may have to stay for a month!

Beautiful View

May as well just book this one now. We had an amazing week at this little slice of heaven. A wonderful family owns and operates this first floor condo, they were responsive to any small issue (they often stayed on the second floor). Clean, tastefully decorated, thoughtful details. We enjoyed sunrises and sunsets, and our section of beach was private. Even on the weekend, when the shore was super crowded on either end, there was a long swath of clear and private sand for us! We didn't want to leave the house to go anywhere else, and didn't want to leave when our stay was up. A truly magical experience for us. On a clear evening or early morning, we were rewarded with pink skies and sparkling blue - with a sailboat in the distance. The sound of the waves is still with me!

Beautiful, we loved every minute!

I want to live here

I have vacationed in the Seabrook/Saulsberry area for over 20 years. This is THE nicest home I have found. It is so spacious, well laid out and impeccably decorated- but in a way that says "RELAX"! The front porch is a great place to hang out with a glass of wine and take in the beautiful ocean view. Then it's steps to the sand. The owner is very accessible so that when we had an issue with the smoke alarm, it was handled immediately. It is close, but not "too close" to Salisbury Beach center. Our teenagers could walk there and go to the arcades or get beach pizza. We walked to this very cool coffee shop at the center and rented stand up paddle boards which we paddled back to the house, a highlight of the trip. The house itself is stocked with everything you could need and the linens are high quality as is everything else. I'm an extreme neat freak and the house was SPOTLESS! For any newcomers, the nearby towns of Portsmouth and Newburyport are quintessential New England coastal towns with great restaurants and shopping. Hampton Beach is also close by with lists if fun and excitement. I truly wish I could live there all summer.
