Great value in a great location

The house was a very reasonable value in a great location. The house was very clean and well maintained. It had an alarm systen so you can sleep easy at night knowing you're safe. The hot tub and pool clean and provide relaxation.

Great vacation

Everything was great. The stove probably needs to be replaced. I en cooked very slow and only burner front left worked the best. The other burners took forever. Everything else was fantastic

It could be a great house but in all honesty it is tired. On the positive side as you walk in the main full height sitting room and dining table are impressive and the suite in there is in good condition. The pool and hot tub are great. It was also nice to be given the tennis court and main pool key as often this takes time to sort out. On the downside. - The downstairs toilet wouldn't fully flush ... so waste just circled. It would then would not refill. The management company said they'd fix this after we left. - The shower curtain rail, hooks and sink lights were rusty. That doesn't feel very 'executive' - Carpets throughout, but particularly on the stairs needed, cleaning. - The living area suite is very saggy and could benefit from being cleaned or replaced. - So could the rug. - Mattresses on all the beds were saggy and some had cut foam on top, not covered other than the bedsheet which didn't feel hygienic. The pillows were the thinnest I've ever seen. The bedding & towels were tired. - I have stayed on Highlands 30+ times but this was the first time I was bitten, all over. It could have been from the pool area where the mesh cover had come away from the frame or elsewhere. - The Kitchen was OK but the units had been badly repainted and the dishwasher was so old it had turned yellow ... but it worked fine. It could be a great house but needs money spending either on deep cleaning or on some more extensive refurbishment.

Great stay

Excellent host. We enjoyed every minute of staying at this beautiful villa. location is good, although maybe a little too far from the parks for us. very peaceful neighbourhood and right on top of highlands reserve golf course. we stayed in October, and would recommend pool heating as we found it chilly. thanks to joe for being a great host. I’d say only one minor issue being the oven, it takes forever to get to temp and doesn’t hold temperature very well meaning it takes forever to cook your dinner.

Satisfactory stay but updates needed

Stay was okay but the place has a lot of minor things that need to be touched up. Mast bed frame was broke/had loose fittings and clanked against the wall. Beds in almost every room were pretty uncomfy for everyone (this is more of a subjective comment, but the foam egg padding didn’t really help). Found dried blood on the railing, the master bedroom had kids toys, an Allen wrench, and candy still in the carpet. The master bath shower didn’t drain properly/drained slowly. Blinds in almost all of the rooms were falling off/in need of repair. No light in the refrigerator and we had to fix a clog in the ice maker. Just the overall cleanliness to the rating prior didn’t really add up. We understand we had early check-in, but we were told it was okay because there was no one there before us. Tv remotes for TVs in master bed, living room, and one of the kids room are in need of repair/replacing as buttons are worn out and don’t work.

Vacation to remember

If you are going on vacation with kids this house is one of the best places! Tons of games and toys for all ages. The pool was incredibly clean as was the house itself. In the words of my eight year old son this was the best vacation house we stayed in!

A wonderful vacation home!

We had an excellent stay at this vacation home. The house is very spacious and slept 8 people very comfortably with room to spare! It is in a great location - not too far from wherever we wanted to go but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Communication with the owner was absolutely fabulous. I would certainly recommend this home!

Vacation 2023

Property was great! Only suggestion I would make is they need new cookware in the kitchen. We had a wonderful time everything was as stated in the advertisement. The hot tub is amazing!! We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Joe and Wendy for offering such a great vacation home.

Spectacular

The owner when above and beyond to make sure we have all the accommodations he was on top the day we arrive to make sure we were there, good and if we needed anything just call, I never have the pleasure to hear his voice but my phone was beeping every five minutes via texts message by him to make sure I had everything I need and more… I go to florida with my family once a year and this time the house that we normally stay was busy so I had no choice but switched it for this new house and I’m glad we did… Hopefully with all new changes in Florida change for good and you will hear from me next year… Muchas gracias 🙏 and keep up the good work !!

Nice house for a large family or a couple small families. Nice pool area. Loved the golf course!

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. Kids loved it. Ping pong, pool table and game room was an nice bonus. Also had game consoles the kids enjoys in the evening’s. Close enough to Disney if you want to dabble in that. Traffic was terrible almost everywhere but I guess that’s part of it. Absolutely loved the golf course! I was able to play a couple rounds early in the morning, both rounds started before 7 and was done in 4 hours or less. Great spot to stay.

A great Villa with all the amenities and so much space!

We had a lovely 9 night stay at this Villa with our family of 6. There was more than enough room. The outdoor space was fantastic with heated pool and hot tub. Communication with the host was great and very timely. Detailed instructions for arrival were provided. Location was within 1/2 hour of most major attractions. We would recommend for sure.

Family birthday trip

This home is great for families and groups. Tons of space and entertainment right on the property. Great for kids and adults. I had a 2-year-old with me and they had everything he needed and more high chair two pack and plays even a couple small blankets that fit the pack and play. We love the pool and the hot tub. Tons of towels and dishes and other kitchen utensils.

Kate is a General Practitioner doctor near Lancaster. Ben is an Economics Graduate at LSE working as a Financial Analyst for a large International Firm

Kate is married to Jonny - a teacher from Leyland.

The villa really stood out for us. (Literally and metaphorically!) We've had it a long time now - and are delighted and immensely proud of its quality, location and views.

It sits in a prominent and very private position at the top of one of the highest points in Florida looking across the golf course and the panoramic views of Wellington Woods in the distance.

Because the plot is so large, it allows the unique combination of privacy (through not being overlooked) and views. This is probably the most private deck in this part of Florida - which is important to us.

The villa is aesthetically very pleasing and is laid out extremely well for families sharing the accommodation - so when it became available - we snapped it up!! We have been delighted with the villa ever since and await with great joy our opportunity to "get away from it all" and spend quality time sitting on the pool deck and "chilling out!"

We narrowed down to Highlands Reserve since, from the outset, the development gave the impression that it was going to be high calibre and prestigious. It has certainly lived up to that expectation. We hoped that, due to being on a golf course, the area would be highly maintained - and that is exactly what has happened! Highlands Reserve has become a very sought after location for rental villas and justifies its excellent reputation by shrewd management of the houses and environment by owners, the golf course owners and the home owners association.

Its a genuinely wonderful place to stay due to its quality - and builds further upon this due to its easy access to the major attractions.

Potential guests would, of course, expect us to say "we love it" - but we can say so with great sincerity!! We absolutely love it - its wonderful!!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The villa is situated at the end of a cul de sac in one of the most prestigious developments available for short term letting (Highlands Reserve.)

Being literally at the end of the cul de sac means that the plot is extra large, fanning out is a wide sweep / arc of land to ensure that the nearest houses are further away than pretty well any other villa in the area.

To the rear of the property, the nearest villas are significantly lower in height - making it difficult for them to see "up the hill" further enhancing the privacy.

We invite potential guests considering the property to visit the privacy section of our own detailed website - where the issue is dealt with in greater depth.

Inside the property, the villa is equipped to very high standards. We basically threw away the "package" furniture - employed an interior design expert and set the villa out beautifully.

The layout oozes quality and style - and the combination of a lot of space in terms of square area (for two families for example) combined with "Cathedral Ceilings" really establish a deep sense of space and volume - which we believe is extremely important for guests when, for example, two families are sharing the villa. One's own space is very important - and that can be achieved here.

One of the other great "unique selling points" of the villa is the hot tub. Its simply wonderful - and ideal for weary limbs at the end of the busy park type days where legs have done rather more walking than they are used to!!! Its a luxury that no-one should pass up. It heats to a maximum of 104 degrees (optimum is about 102) and really soaks away the aches and pains and invigorates the soul!!
