Beautiful villa

Lovely villa in a great location. Dalila made check in really easy and we had a lovely stay. Definitely recommend!

Lovely luxury villa

The villa and private pool was perfect with lovely views. Good location for exploring western Madeira. The lady who welcomed us was charming and gave us very helpful local information.

Thank you. It's a shame you only gave the house 3 stars. Maybe a mistake. We do inform our guests in the HomeAway advertisement that a hire car is recommended.

Beautiful, we'll equipped with fantastic sea views

This is one of the best properties you'll ever wish to stay in. Absolutely spotless, very well equipped kitchen and spacious comfortable lounge with sea views from every window. The pool is lovely and warm with plenty of sun loungers to soak up the sun. We really cannot praise this beautiful house enough and the bottle of wine and basic groceries were very welcome when we arrived. We will definitely stay again when we're back on the island

Comfort, beauty, modern neutral style, fantastic view

Three couples around 70 enjoyed this splendid place where we all had our private bathroom. The living room was perfect with modern kitchen and comfortable sitting group. From the swimming pool we could enjoy the sunsets. We did not feel as intruders in anothers property, it was as if the place was created just to correspond with our needs and preferences. We could also reach local restaurants and bars by feet, but to get up into the mountains and reach Funchal and other, smaller cities we needed the rental cars.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen von Dalila, die uns mit zahlreichen Tipps für die Freizeitgestaltung unterstützte. Die Poolheizung war leider während unserer Anwesenheit defekt, wurde aber zum Glück zeitnah repariert. Das Haus ist wirklich perfekt und man fühlt sich von Anfang an sehr wohl und ist direkt in Urlaubsstimmung :)

Entspannter Urlaub

Wir hatten in diesem Ferienhaus einen sehr entspannten Urlaub. Es liegt sehr ruhig und die wichtigsten Wanderrouten sind gut zu erreichen. Der Empfang war sehr nett, Dalila ist eine echte Perle. Alles war rundum schön.

Immaculate luxury holiday home

A well designed and immaculately clean home from home. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the pool is just fantastic. This was our second stay in this property and certainly won't be our last

3 Month of Relaxation

Where do I start! Madeira is a majestic island and this house is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. it was great to have three bedrooms with their own private ensuites. It made our guests feel comfortable and gave them plenty of privacy. The salt water pool and the grounds were well kept and the cleaning staff were very flexible to meet our schedule. What we loved was drinking our coffee every morning in the beautiful ocean view outdoors which we never got tired of. You can’t hear the noise of the streets as the house is in a very peaceful area. The house is conveniently located a short drive from a well stocked supermarket and a pleasant walk away to the town square. The whole place made us feel disconnected from the busy city we came from. Norberta was very nice, easy to talk to from the day I booked and was very responsive when we needed anything. We fell in love with Madeira and we will definitely be coming back again!

Top gepflegt, tolle Lage, sehr gute Einrichtung.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Besonders der Wohnraum bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf den Atlantik und durch die großzügige Verglasung viel Helligkeit. Insgesamt war das Objekt hervorragend gepflegt, auch die Garten- und Terrassenanlagen. Das Haus wird liebevoll von Dalila betreut, die sich rührend um das Wohl der Gäste kümmert. Den Pool haben wir häufig benutzt, leider misst er nur 8m, für Schwimmer nicht ideal. Nach einer Woche werden Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt und die liebe Dalila erledigt eine Zwischenreinigung. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wir sind Hobbyköche und haben diese sehr genutzt. Empfehlenswert wäre der Austausch einiger Gläser, besonders der Weingläser die duff sind und einer Bratpfanne. Bei unserer Abreise haben wir Dalila informiert, dass es im unteren Schlafraum so extrem verschimmelt riecht, dass eine Nutzung nicht möglich ist. Wir haben nur beide Schlafräume im OG genutzt und waren somit nicht direkt betroffen.

Fantastic villa with great pool. Strongly recommended

We loved this villa. The pool is great, there are lots of small lizards living in the garden walls which kept the family interested. Beds large and comfortable. Stylish villa. Kitchen could do with one or two extra bits - a colander and some sharp knives but otherwise very well equipped. Neighbourhood peaceful, the local shop is easily walkable and the restaurant next to the shop serves simple but well cooked food - if you want an evening meal I’d suggest you speak to the shop/restaurant owner in advance but he is very accommodating. Plenty to see and do.

Tolles, modernes Haus in den Bergen

Haus: Das Haus ist sehr modern und gut ausgestattet. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Doppelbetten und jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer, was sehr angenehm ist. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit Induktionsherd, Backofen, Microwelle und Kühl- Gefrierschrank. Eine herkömmliche Kaffeemaschine gibt es allerdings nicht. Nur eine Kapselmaschine. Pool und Aussenbereich: Der Pool war auch ohne Poolheizung angenehm warm. Es gibt eine Plane, die man über den Pool ziehen kann, wenn man ihn nicht benutzt, dadurch hält das Wasser die Temperatur und kühlt nicht aus. Auf der einen Seite sind Stufen, was wir für unsere Kinder (4+5) zum Reingehen sehr praktisch fanden. Zum Schwimmen war dadurch allerdings etwas wenig Platz. Der Aussenbereich ist toll ausgestattet mit Liegen, Esstisch und bequemen Korbmöbeln. Für die Sonnenschirme war es meist zu windig, so dass wir sie kaum nutzen konnten. Dadurch gibt es mittags fast keinen Schatten. Ein Grill (super) und eine Aussendusche (haben wir nie benutzt) sind auch vorhanden. Lage: Das Haus befindet sich in fast 400 Metern Höhe. Die Fahrt dorthin ist sehr abenteuerlich durch sehr enge und steile Gassen zum Teil ohne Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Wir waren immer froh, wenn wir ohne Gegenverkehr dort angekommen sind. Durch die hohe Lage war es am Haus deutlich kühler als unten am Meer. Morgens und abends war es uns meistens (trotz Juni) zu kalt zum draußen Sitzen. Bzw. nur mit Strickjacke oder Decke. Die Häuser drum herum standen zum Teil leer, daher war es sehr ruhig. Sonstiges: Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir mit einem Essenspaket überrascht. Das war wirklich klasse. Es gab Brot, Butter, Käse, Milch, Marmelade und Wein. Wir hatten das Haus für 2 Wochen gemietet und nach 1 Woche wurden Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Das hatten wir bisher noch in keinem Ferienhaus.

Tolle Lage, sehr schöne Villa

Der erste Eindruck ist wirklich hervorragend. Delila stand nachts um 4 Uhr auf um uns um diese Uhrzeit in der Villa zu empfangen. Sie hatte viele Tipps zum Sightseeing und Essen gehen .Sie ist wirklich eine Perle. Leider hat der Besitzer der Villa vergessen, dass man so ein Haus auch mit besserer Qualität in der Inneneinrichtung ausstatten sollte. Sehr schön auch das Starter-Set zum Anfang mit Brot, Butter, Milch,Kaffee usw... und 200 m weiter gleich eine gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit und Essensmöglichkeit. Es empfiehlt sich kleine Autos zu mieten, die Anfahrt und Einfahrt zum Haus sind sehr eng, wie überall auf Madeira. Wir hatten in dieser einen Woche nur einmal trübes Wetter, aber kein Regen. Der Pool ist klasse und bei 26°C lässt er sich hervorragend nutzen. Es gibt auch genügend Handtücher und Decken für alle Jahreszeiten geeignet.

villa inoubliable

accueil parfait, effectué par Dalila. Nous vous remercions réellement pour votre accueil très tardif, vos conseils nous ont été très utiles. La villa est magnifique, d'une propreté absolue assez bien située proche des sites à visiter. De plus les rayons de soleil sur la plage de Calheta nous ont été bénéfiques afin d'oublier la pluie incessante que nous avons subie.(il paraît que c'était une semaine pluvieuse exceptionnelle). A louer les yeux fermés continuez ainsi à entretenir aussi bien cette villa. Bravo!!!

Perfektes Ferienhaus mit traumhafter Aussicht

Das Ferienhaus ließ keine Wünsche offen: ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Wohnzimmer mit Ringsum-Verglasung (Aussicht vom Sonnenauf- bis Sonnenuntergang), eine integrierte Küche komplett ausgestattet, 3 Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten, viel Stauraum und tollen Bädern, aber vor allem einem beheizten Pool, der von uns täglich genutzt wurde. Wir (4 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, 1 Baby) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden bestimmt wiederkommen. Empfangen wurden wir von Delila, einer bezaubernden Dame, die uns zum Start mit allem ausgerüstet hatte, was wir für den ersten Tag benötigten: Brot, Butter, Aufstrich, Käse, Milch, Kaffee, Wasser, Obst und einer Fl. Rotwein; sogar der Spülmaschinenreiniger fehlte nicht. Das haben wir noch in keinem Ferienhaus erlebt. Sie war bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle, besorgte das gesamte Equipment für das Baby, behob jedes Problem (Kinderkrankheiten eines Neubaus) und gab als Einheimische darüberhinaus viele gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Einziger Nachteil: Die Zufahrtsstraße zum Haus und zur (großen)Garage (für 2 Fahrzeuge), denn die Fahrt dorthin in einer extrem schmalen Straße mit Gegenverkehr und die Einfahrt in die Garage (kostete uns ein Rücklicht) waren jedes Mal ein Abenteuer.
