This two bedroom, two bath apartment is centrally located on Whitaker Street. No matter which direction you set out in the morning, youā€™ll be just blocks away from all that Savannah has to offer.

When you open the front door, you're immediately greeted by a large and comfortable living area. You shouldnā€™t need a vacation from your vacation, so donā€™t feel bad about spending an evening in, curled up on this comfortable couch watching a show (or two!). Whether youā€™re enjoying coffee and breakfast at the kitchen counter breakfast bar, or dinner at the cozy dining table, the Eleanor has plenty of room for quality family time. At the end of the hall youā€™ll find a full bath and a Queen bed in the first bedroom. The Primary Suite has a king bed and renovated full bath.

When youā€™re ready to start your day, just cross the street to tour St. Johnā€™s Episcopal Church, known for its melodious chimes and magnificent stained glass windows. In 1942, St. Johnā€™s the Green-Meldrim House, one of Savannahā€™s finest examples of Gothic Revival architecture. During the Civil War, General Sherman occupied the Green-Meldrim House and penned his famous telegram to President Lincoln, presenting the city of Savannah as a Christmas present.

So charming! Amazing location - close 2 Jones St., Monterey Square and Forsyth, and the north historic district. Kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The living room was picturesque. Youā€™ll be happy with this one!

Girls Trip

This was the perfect property for our girls tripā€¦ close to everywhere you want to be in Downtown Savannah, comfortable furniture for relaxing with a glass of wine and a great kitchen/dining area when you want to stay in for a meal. Parking is on the street but not as cumbersome as I thought it was going to be.

Charming, great location

We were charmed by this historic property right from the front iron gate. It was very comfortable for a mother / daughter weekend. We were far enough from the main touristy center for peace and quiet, but close enough to easily walk there. This place had everything we needed!

Great location and lots of charm. Was clean and easy to find. Parking was an issue at first so I ended up returning my rental car. The location was so walkable, I didnā€™t need it. I booked this place as a chef because of the kitchen honestly. It was a little disappointing that it isnā€™t stocked with basic necessities like salt and pepper but if youā€™re planning on eating out thatā€™s not an issue. My only complaint was the pillows. There were plenty but thatā€™s how many it took to be comfortable because they were all pretty limp and sad.

Ideal location -- very close (short walk) to lots of great restaurants and shopping. Felt safe, and the management company was responsive. Very clear check in and check out processes. There are 2 full baths (the online listing says there are less, but management confirmed the accurate information)!
