Waterfront Cottage in Spanish Wells' protected harbor

The Harbour House 2016 renovation is complete and this charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is available for rent. Situated on the Southeast end of the island, 30 feet from the water's edge, in Spanish Wells' protected harbor, the Harbour House is ideal for many vacationers including families, friends, couples and fishing buddies. The first floor is open (and fully air conditioned) with the living room, dining area and kitchen all flowing from one to the next. A portion of the living area can be made into a semi private sleeping area with a day bed that converts into a king size bed or 2 twins. The other portion of the living room has a comfortable couch and chair for lounging, watching cable TV or surfing the Internet through included WiFi. Also on the first floor is a full size bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The bright and colorful kitchen, equipped with all of the necessary dishes and cookware, also has a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and chest freezer. Just a few steps from the kitchen, out the back door, is a private deck with a gas BBQ grill, table, chairs and outdoor shower. Arguably the best feature of the main level is the full length porch, on the front side of the cottage, that faces the harbor. With Adirondack chairs and 3 ceiling fans, your comfort is assured as you watch boats, of all shapes, sizes and origins, pass through the harbor.

The second floor of the cottage has been completely remodeled with 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, separate vanity, laundry room and air conditioning throughout. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, ceiling fan, views of the harbor and separate air conditioning control. Just outside the master bedroom is the vanity sink, bathroom and shower. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, views of the harbor, ceiling fan and separate air conditioning control. A laundry room, with a full size washer and dryer, is provided for guest convenience.

With the standard rental rate set at $185 per night, (4 night min) the Harbour House is the best value for waterfront property on Spanish Wells. Access to the beaches on the North and West side of the island are only a few minute ride on a golf cart from the cottage. Other necessities, such as grocery stores, shops, churches and restaurants are within easy walking distance of the cottage. If you're a boating enthusiast (reason the Harbour House was purchased) you can simply hop in your boat, (owned or rental) that is conveniently moored in front of the cottage and go on a different adventure each day of your vacation. The options are nearly endless. You could spend the day on one of the many pristine beaches on Royal, Russell, Meeks Patch or Egg Island, snorkel and fish Devils Backbone reef, go offshore fishing for dolphin, wahoo and tuna, visit the Glass Bridge and Queen's bath or head north to the Abacos or south to the Exumas for those that are more adventurous . The possibilities, when you have a boat, are nearly endless and with the Harbour House's affordable rate you can add a boat rental to your vacation and still come out ahead when compared to other waterfront properties on Spanish Wells.

The Harbour House is a comfortable, kid friendly cottage, conveniently located on Spanish Wells, with all the amenities needed to ensure a relaxing, fun filled vacation. If you choose our cottage our local care taker, Johnny, will assist you with airport transportation, meet you when you arrive on the island, acclimate you to the Harbour House and Spanish Wells, address any situation that may arise during your stay and will have available any rental items you may need for your vacation.
