INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Cleaning

The floor was so dirty that our feet was completely BLACK. We have a infant and he was crawling around and got dirt on him. We took upon ourselves to clean the floor and the water was BLACK. We also had to clean the drain in the shower and it was filled with hair!! That’s why the water wouldn’t drain. Lastly, the screen door is broken.

Summit 1307

We absolutely loved staying here. The condo grounds were well kept and safe. We loved all of the extra security. The security guards were super friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. The Tiki Bar made the best drinks and the bartenders were amazing! The condo itself was clean and comfortable. The king size bed was so comfortable. The only things I would change is the dishwasher doesn’t clean well and I think you should add a latch on the front door so that children inside the condo can not just open the door. Also, the lock on the balcony door doesn’t lock, again that would be a great measure for children. I was upset a few days after we got back I received an email from the property manager stating that they charged us an additional cleaning fee. They sent some pics showing several bags of trash that did not come from our unit. I called and left messages and sent emails and have yet to receive a response.

Great location not so great condo

The location of the condo was great. It is close to everything and the pools were awesome! The condo was not ! Mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom. Wall separating from the ceiling in the kitchen. The mirror in the living room is broke and taped together . The floor was covered in sand . Everyday at least 2 of the elevators were not working . I will not stay their again .

Terrible first condo, relocated to cleaner condo

We rented unit 1307. The actual check-in process was quick and easy. The room itself was in very poor condition. There was mold above the washer/dryer. The garbage disposal was clogged with sand and had an unpleasant smell. One of the toilets was not functioning properly. The bedspread had a stain (Management seems to think it was a bleach stain. I did not get close enough to determine, so I cannot say with confidence what it actually was.) The room was also incredibly dated and the furniture was dirty and in poor condition. (Stains, chipped paint, etc). After speaking with several people and getting transferred multiple times over the phone, I spoke with a manager that was very helpful. He was very friendly and able to provide us with another condo (402) and let us check it out to make sure it wasnt in the same poor condition as the first unity. We could tell this was also an older unit but the overall cleanliness was 1000 times better compared to the first. The owners of 402 definitely put care and effort, as well as attention to detail, into the upkeep of their condo. It also had a great view of the ocean which was a perk! I want to thank the owners of 402 as well as the manager that was able to help us during our trip. This was our pre-honeymoon location so I am very grateful we were able to be taken care of. We would rent unit 402 again!

Not very clean, but we made the best of it. Elevators were horrible. Sometimes 30+ minute wait.

I liked the facility overall just maybe not this particular unit.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed.

This place was very dirty. By far the worse place I have ever stayed. Not sure the last time they mopped the floors. We ruined several pairs of socks. Had to wear shoes or socks or your feet would be black!! We went and bought sheets to lay over the furniture so we felt clean after sitting on the couch. There was no curtains on balcony windows the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes. The master bath had 1 out of 3 bulbs working. The tv speaker was blown so watching tv it was all distorted. So to say the least we will not be back.

senior graduation and condo was dirty

The condo matched the pictures well. The balcony was great. I did not do my research prior and did not know that Club La Vila was next door, every night we could hear the music loud and clear from the Club. The frig smelled like sour meat and the place was well loved by lots of parties in the past as it appeared. The condo complex was full of high school senior graduation trips. People would yell "pick up lines" at us or just trying to get our attention when walking back to elevators from pool/beach. Beach Access was nice as was the pool bar. Overall we enjoyed our stay however we will not be staying here again.
