There is a separate private Master Suite that adjoins the rest of the condo with a King Bed, Kitchenette full bathroom tub/shower and private ocean front balcony. The main part of the condo has another Master Suite and private En-suite bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a set of very sturdy queen size bunk beds. Great room has a queen sofa sleeper. All bedrooms & great room have balcony access with straight out ocean front view

Splash is conveniently located near Pier Park. Pier Park offers shops, restaurants, and entertainment. No matter what you are looking for, you will most likely find it at SPLASH!

Dishes were okay but not even any starter coffee, salt & pepper. I am sure that everyone who flys into PCB, stays in your unit, has to buy basics. And they leave it. Guessing the cleaning staff take it all. We moved a small chair in The living room, underneath were popcorn and kernels. No dust pan. Need furniture in the bunk room to hold clothes. No mattress pad on the MBR bed. Mattress had stain.

We had amazing time, the kids loved the splash pad and the pool! Close to the beach not a mile walk like we have had in past places we stayed in. Only thing we had a problem with some showers doors didn’t close all the way but we didn’t mind that, one thing I would suggest is a higher lock to put on the door out to the hallway and elevator.. we had a 2 year old who discovered how to opened that door and want to escape

Property was not clean, several pieces of furniture was past its use life, box springs creaked LOUD, a lot of the pots and silverware had been put away used. Shower door wouldn’t close. The redeeming thing was ECDI was on it! They brought housekeepers in to reclean unit and maintenance came to fix what they could. No complaints with them. They went above and beyond to help us.

The room wasn’t cleaned great. The floor would turn your feet black. Dishwasher wouldn’t work. Refrigerator wouldn’t work. AC in living room didn’t get down to correct temp. Overall wouldn’t book this room again. Floor was popping up in kitchen.

Family Vacation at thw SPLASH

We had a great stay. The kitchen could use upgrades to the pots and pans, ect. Great location we could see the dolphins jump from our balcony. Great resort close to everything. Would definitely visit again!

Don’t just don’t

The condo was awful for what you pay. There is not enough bedding. The fridge door sounds like it’s going to fall off, the fridge lights don’t work. The show doors don’t shut. The bathroom sliding doors don’t shut without lagging our kids hurt their fingers a lot. The latches to lock the patio doors do not lock. The floor boards were coming up and we had kids and a person with a walker trip and stub their toes on it in the kitchen. This unit cost a lot and I would not stay there expecting a decent quality stay. Spend your money on a nicer unit and good luck.

Terrible!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Moldy and very out dated.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival the unit was not clean. Cigarette butts on balcony with chewed sunflower seeds along with other pieces of trash. The kitchen table was nasty. The door to the air unit was covered in dust. To top it all off the air unit vents were covered in black mold. My family got sick. I spent my first day cleaning my unit and bleaching all the mold and floors. The drain to the main bathroom was not working. I asked for a partial refund. I sent emails with very little response. It was always they would send someone to take care of it. They did send a guy to fix the drain after 2 days. The shower door was breaking no one showed up to fix it. Over all it was the worst experience I have ever had renting a condo. My kids were so uncomfortable and grossed out being in the unit. The splash resort is very out dated two elevators for 20 floors. The pools were not the best when it comes to being clean. This place has black mold everywhere look. Safe your money and book somewhere else.

Great Views, Awful Elevator

Beautiful views, elevator takes FOREVER so plan about an hour to wait when you're checking out. Hot tub overcrowded. Otherwise, decent stay.

Spring break family trip

We enjoyed our stay every thing that you needed was in the condo the kids loved the pools. If I had anything bad to say is that the 1out of 3 showers needs some updating but it function as it should and got the job done. We will definitely look at this place again when we decide to take the grandkids back to the beach.

Good just needs attention

We had some maintenance concerns and once shared they were addressed rather quickly. That said we love the place and the resort, This unit needs some attention as there are easy remedies to make this place great! Too many items to share in one week as we would have maintenance guys sharing our space for much of the week. Plus we have done this trip a lot and know we makes things great. That said we make the best of what we get and certainly did that. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will begin by saying that the unit was in a great location and had a great space for our family. We love this resort and have stayed there a few times. Unfortunately, this unit was not as clean as others with a smelly, mildewed washing machine and dishwasher as well as lint galore in the dryer that could be a fire hazard. We had to spend time cleaning the lint to avoid catching our clothes on the lint filter and ruining them. The master sliding door was almost rusted shut. The sofa was also falling apart. If this were my property, I would want to know these things. Some cleaning issues existed, but beds were comfy and clean, so we rested well.

Standards

Let me start by saying 'Always read reviews before booking". Had I taken the time to read previous guest comments I would not have booked. I did message with owner to ask if all the negative issues mentioned had been taken care of. He responded to only one issue which was cleanliness. I will not go into all details but let's just say I realize everyone has a different standard of cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep. For my family and I it did not meet our standards. Based on the rates I was expecting much more than motel standards. I did not feel comfortable cooking in this kitchen, even if it were clean enough there wasn't proper supplies to make a meal. The washing machine reeked with nastiness. The condo was very roomy and could be amazing but it's going to need some time, attention and money spent on it. I would not recommend this motel/condo unit, nor would I ever stay in it again. As far as SPLASH it is great for young children.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are traveling with toddlers or older folks, DO NOT stay here. The elevators were horrible. Even the cleaning staff sat in the floor (sometimes more than an hour, they said) waiting. Taking the stairs with chairs, tents, toys etc. was miserable. Even kept my parents from going to the beach or pool. 2nd day there, Sunday, our main balcony door got stuck and we couldn't use. I immediately notified the rental company. They finally sent someone Thursday to repair it. Maybe they need more maintenance people. The bathtub, showers & sinks took forever to drain. We had one spatula to cook with- it was a huge metal grill spatula. The non-stick surfaces in the two frying pans were scratched & torn. If you're young enough to take the stairs, with young children who don't mind the stairs, you'll enjoy this place. They loved the lazy river, pools & splash bucket area. The location is close to fun, shopping, restaurants and most importantly, the beach.

Worst condo I have stayed in

I was looking to book our annual family trip a little late this year. Only a few options to pick I settled on this property for a decent price and seemingly some fun water activities for my kids. At first glance the condo looked nice, but within an hour there was a leak from the ceiling, loose bathroom fixtures, flickering lights in 2 rooms, sand on the floor and just a general sense of uncleanliness. The finishes are just poor. That feeling remained throughout the entire trip in addition to the 2 giant cockroaches we found after coming home from dinner. That set the tone for the remaining trip as everyone was grossed out and disgusted to say the least Beds were not very comfortable with cheap mattresses that squeak. There are (2) bowls, a few pans and very little cooking utensils. This for a condo that clearly is set up to accommodate large parties. There is nowhere to put luggage except on the ground— which was not going to happen being we found the roaches. In the bunk room there is a large closet that the the kids shut one of the adults in when they were looking for a luggage rack, be cautious because that door locks and does not open but from the outside— a kid could easily lock themselves in Elevators were packed and hard to get into. Waterpark was nice with nice pools, though beware young kids and teenagers completely overtook the hot tub I’m talking 8-15 kids jammed in there for all day everyday. Just a note nothing the property could do about it.

Fun place to stay

We love Splash Resort. Have stayed here before. It has so many things to keep your family busy and entertained. It was clean quiet and easy check in though wish check in was sooner then 4pm ( makes it hard when driving 12 hours , gotta get food which makes it go into evening hours. My only negatives would be the refrigerator wasnt working correctly. I called. Texted, and emailed both Vrbo and the manager several times with never a response ( left messages) .we had to keep food in tiny frig in the joining room all week so food didnt spoil. Had to walk back and fourth to cook etc. And no broom .lastly , the pots/pans and utensils could be updated. We struggled to cook because everything stuck and utensils were broke or worn out. We just bought a broom and a few utensils to make things easier. Overall, recommend staying at Splash Resort especially if you have a large family.
