Charming 3 bedroom 2 bath Skaneateles Lakefront Home 4 miles to Village

Updated home located on the West Side of Skaneateles Lake, off a private dirt road, approximately 4 miles from the Village. On the main level there is an open, spacious great room with kitchen, dining area and living area, all with views of the lake. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds on the main floor, and a full bathroom (renovated Fall 2021) with shower. The open loft with two desks, overlooks the great room. A spiral staircase leads to the lower level which is where the master bedroom with private bathroom is located, and beautiful views of the sunrise. Also on the lower level is a living area, as well as a washer and dryer. Interior doors on main level all replaced Fall 2021, as well as renovation of bathroom on main floor. All windows replaced 2024, as well as sliders on main level.

Start your day watching the beautiful sunrise from the large wrap deck before heading down to the 50 feet of private lakefront for a swim. The expansive dock was replaced 2023. It's wonderful just to relax on the deck and read a book, drink a cup of coffee watching the sun rise or glass of wine in the afternoon and just enjoy the scenery. Looking for more action, go for a swim, rent a boat (the marina is only a couple miles down the road), go for a sightseeing or dinner cruise on the Judge Ben, or fishing, golfing (public course is nearby) or hiking. There are great shops in town as well as a beautiful spa (Mirbeau), which is definitely worth a visit for a massage or other treatment. Anyelas, the local winery, is only a mile or so from the house. Even if you don't drink wine (they do also serve beer in the Cellar...) it's worth a visit - beautiful setting and they sometimes have live music. There are several wonderful restaurants in town, but grilling out on the deck with family and the view is hard to beat.

Family Lake Vacation

Life on the lake !

This charming lakehouse was ideal for our family to enjoy a summer vacation on the lake. Leslie was a great host, the home was well stocked with all the essentials, and ideal location with proximity to the village. The property has panoramic views of the lake and the permanent dock was perfect for waterside relaxation and swimming in the refreshing, crystal clear lake !

Perfect Lake House

This property is a well-kept, wonderfully appointed, quintessential lake house. It suited our family's needs perfectly. The fenced-in back yard was wonderful and we used the fire pit every night (two of which featured a spectacular red moon rising). The large deck was perfect for family dinners, and we appreciated the high-quality outdoor furniture. The interior is spacious, airy and well-laid out. Very dependable wireless. Leslie was an excellent host, and we appreciated her care and attention to detail with instructions. We can not wait to go back!!

This is becoming our ā€œgo toā€ summer lake vacation!

The second year was as great as the first! We already booked again for 2023. Owners made improvements that make the place perfect for 6 people. Communication with the owners is excellent. We enjoyed the lake and had a relaxing time by the fire pit at night.

Relaxing Lake House

The perfect place for a peaceful getaway

This house was the perfect size for the 6 of us. It had all the necessities with beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. The views of the lake were spectacular - we saw both moon and sunrise over the lake! The deck, fire pit and dock were all great! Swimming was refreshing! We had a great week and booked again for next year!

Had a wonderful week!

We fully enjoyed staying at this Skaneateles house right on the lake. Clean comfortable house and nice deck overlooking the lake. Close to town. One suggestion is to drink bottled water because the well water did not taste good to us. Also bring spices if cooking (salt, pepper, etc). Would highly recommend this lovely house.

Perfect Lake House

This was the most relaxing vacations our family has had in a long time. The owners were so easy to work with and accommodating. The home was stocked with all the necessities you would need. You just show up and enjoy! The whole family enjoyed the views and proximity to the lake and village, spending hours in crystal clear water and then heading into the village for some ice cream. Perfect space for a family with pre-teen and teen kids. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful lake house

Leslie was a wonderful host. She was extremely accommodating and very informative. We came from out of state to visit local family and we all enjoyed our time at the house. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck enjoying the view and down at the fire pit and of course swimming. The house is beautiful & very clean. We enjoyed our 2 week stay very much!

Perfect Skaneateles Lake Vacation

We had wonderful week on the beautiful lake! My husband and family enjoyed every minute either swimming jet skiing or boating on the lake. At night we had family style dinners on the deck overlooking the scenic views and toasted marshmallows for sā€™mores at the fire pit. Heaven for sure!

Room with an amazing View

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. What I loved about it the most was the open concept main floor of being able to see the lake from every vantage point. Whether you were in the kitchen, dining room, living room or deck, the view was spectacular overlooking the lake! The owners were a delight to work with and we very much hope to return in the future. Fabulous location, great house, wonderful host

The outdoor space at this property is truly outstanding. The location on the lake is easily accessible to town while still far enough out to be private. Completely fenced in yard with a fire pit overlooking the lake. Stairs to water are sturdy and wide, and the dock is very stable and nice sized. We used the mooring for our boat and it was perfect. The best part of the property for us is the deck attached to the main floor of the house and overlooking the lake. Unbelievable views! Beautiful furniture on deck...we spent most of our time here! House is nice, especially the kitchen and main living space. New appliances, very comfortable and roomy sectional, good TV and fast internet. Beds are very comfortable, and bedrooms nicely appointed. There is a large loft space that is easily accessible, light and airy. A desk is the only furniture in this space (we were on vacation, so didn't use), but there is certainly space for several beds. There is also a common space in the lower level that has a pull out sofa bed and table. This is nice space, and could be furnished to be a second living room or game space. Bathrooms are adequate. Some updates have been performed. Full-size new washer and dryer are great. Overall, this is a great place. We loved our 2 weeks and have requested to book again!

Beautiful 3 bedroom property on Lake Skaneateles

Beautiful property, well maintained on a wonderful lake. Leslie answered all questions immediately and was concerned that I was not charged until the lease was finalized. The property had all the amenities and was clean and ready for our arrival. The views of the lake were gorgeous and the deck, fire pit and dock allowed us to enjoy every minute on the lake. The property is close to Skaneateles and all the shops, activities and restaurants. I would recommend this to our friends and relatives and hope to come back in the future.

Walking from the driveway to deck only one word came to mind. Wow. the appliances were recently updated and the back yard was recently redone. It was a perfect setting for a weekend away. The owners were great to work with and we would definitely stay here again.

Tranquil & Charming with a Spectacular Lake Front

I was fortunate enough to find this charming lake front home when we decided to spend a long weekend with family at Skaneateles Lakes for my daughters graduation at Syracuse University. This relaxing, tranquil location has a spectacular lake front view and all the amenities. This lovely home, is clean, comfortable and decorated perfectly. We truly enjoyed the quaint restaurants, shops and winery in Skaneateles. The access to the home is steep and narrow but doable and our host Leslie is wonderful and very hospitable. We loved our stay, wanted to stay longer, and hope to be back soon. I highly recommend this property!!! Laure McClellan
