Tranquil with amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay here. Swimming pool was great as was the accommodation. Having cleaners twice a week was also great. However, it was the amazing sunsets over the sea that made the stay so memorable.

Amazing property

The villa and pool are incredible, the kids loved it. Perfect location to watch the gorgeous sunsets every day. The villa is very isolated and the directions aren’t great but Mario was always very quick to respond to messages and helpful. There are some great restaurants nearby. All in all a great place to stay.

Idyllic setting, beautiful villa!

We had the most wonderful stay. The villa was clean and the area was remote and so quiet. The staff brought us two lots of shopping from the supermarket which helped us relax.It is a mountainous drive to get to the villa but it is worth it! A sunset over the ocean every night. A short drive to The West taverna for dinner- highly recommend the food and service.Mario was easy to contact from the villa and attended to anything we needed.Highly recommend!

Great villa with oceanvieuw

We spent 2 weeks in this lovely villa. Tremendous site with a sunny pool and shadow at the terrace. Incredible vieuw over the ocean and a very calm place. Thanks Mario for the great servive. All 5 days cleaning the whole villa. We arrived very late at night, but Mario waited for us and showed us the way. Michael

Fantastic villa

The villa was all what we expected: clean, beautiful, private, everything included. A fully equipped kitchen, two nice bedrooms with plenty of space, both equipped with a shower and one of them with a bath. The villa is situated perfectly at approximately 90 meters above sealevel, which provides a fantastic view to the entire southwest of the Mediterranean Sea. The terras provides shelter for both sun and wind, and also has enough space to accommodate for sunbathing The sunsets are spectacular. The pool was not heated, but even in May it was warmed by the sun.

Fantastic retreat. Had a great stay. Nice and private. Sunsets WOW!

We had a great week here to get away from our busy lives. We wanted to get away from people and enjoys sun and views. It certainly delivered.The most fantastic sunsets every night and the villa is positioned perfectly. Great taverna Stomio about 15 minutes drive away. Beaches: 1- walk down from the villa in shoes, not flip flops. Large pebble beach. Nobody there , and great swimming with crystal clear water. 2-Elafonisi, go after 3pm when the coaches leave with the day trippers. It’s 5 to park the car. 3 - Kedrodasos. It’s really lovely and not busy. A locals beach. Park near the shop at the top as there aren’t any shops or bars there. Don’t park in the car park as there are large rocks which could damage the underside of a small rental car. Wear trainers to go down as it’s a walk down a rocky river bed to the beach, but it is worth it.

Definitely recommended for a relaxing holiday

The property is very spacious and clean, private and quiet, with a lovely west-facing view, which means you see the sunset over the sea every evening. The location is quite remote, which means it's tranquil and relaxing. There are restaurants in the area to choose from although you'll drive further than you would in other locations. The plus side is that you get lots of stunning views on the mountain roads - amazing! We asked for the barbecue (available on request) and that was a great addition for us. The owners were very responsive, helpful and charming. Supermarkets are a considerable distance away but they will get shopping for you - reimbursement only, no extra charge. They know where to shop so this was doubly good - we had some delicious squid, fish, steaks and chops among other things. The property was regularly cleaned during our stay including fresh bedsheets and towels - another really good bonus. This was our first time in Greece. We found it laid back and relaxing, the Greeks friendly, hospitable and generous.

Excellent villa, location and facilities to set up a relaxing holiday. The villa is remote - with only a handful of other villas nearby without being too close - but this also allows for breathtaking and uninterrupted views across the Mediterranean and wonderful sunsets each and every night. The villa is clean, spacious and has everything you need. The aircon works really well, the covered terrace good protection from sun and wind and the pool is big and brilliant for families.Some specifics people might find helpful:1. Car: everywhere is a drive away which is no problem but the roads are mountainous and the final approach to the villa on a rugged, gravel track. You don't need a 4x4, but hire a car with a decent bit of power in it.2. Google Maps: don't just accept it gives you the quickest route! It doesn't always give you the coastal road route as an option and will take you through the mountain roads. You don't need to do this. For example, if you're heading to Elafonisi beach a good tip is to 'add a stop' at Laura beach and that will overide any default via the mountains. 3. Best Tavernas: Gialites in nearby Livadia (12 mins drive) running a rustic, friendly taverna with the menu updated daily on blackboards. They also sell their own pottery. Also, go up the mountain to Kampos and head to Taverna West - great food and live music on Wednesdays. Avoid Taverna Stomio.4. The wind: it can be breezy and this is normal. Just go with it!

Traumhafte Lage mit sensationellem Meerblick und wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist hier genau richtig – nur wenige Häuser in der Umgebung und absolute Entspannung.Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter über WhatsApp war unkompliziert und bei Problemen wurde sofort geholfen. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut und der Kühlschrank war bei Ankunft sogar mit einigen Kleinigkeiten gefüllt.Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass die Unterkunft sehr abgelegen liegt: Vom Flughafen Heraklion fährt man etwa 3,5 Stunden. Ein großer Supermarkt und eine größere Restaurantauswahl sind ungefähr eine Stunde entfernt. Kleine Tavernen gibt es jedoch in der näheren Umgebung.Für alle, die Ruhe, Privatsphäre und einen traumhaften Ausblick suchen, eine klare Empfehlung.

Die Unterkunft ist ideal, wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht. Der Gastgeber Mario ist sehr bemüht und kümmert sich darum, dass alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erledigt wird. Bei der Ankunft war der Kühlschrank bereits mit Eiern, Schinken, Toastbrot sowie Raki und Wein als Willkommensgruß gefüllt.Leider funktionierte die Poolbeleuchtung nicht, und da auf Ersatzteile gewartet wurde, konnte der Defekt während unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben werden. Über Kleinigkeiten wie fehlende Gewürze, Geschirrspültabs sowie Waschmittel für die vorhandene Waschmaschine oder vielleicht eine Hängematte auf der Terrasse kann man jedoch problemlos hinwegsehen.Der Ausblick inklusive der fast schon kitschig schönen Sonnenuntergänge ist einfach perfekt. Auch die umliegenden Tavernen können wir allesamt empfehlen. Der kleine Supermarkt in etwa 20 Minuten Entfernung hatte alles, was wir während unserer 9 Tage benötigt haben.Ein ungewohnter und sehr zuvorkommender Service war, dass das Reinigungsteam einmal vorbeikam, um das komplette Haus zu reinigen und die Bettwäsche zu wechseln. Darüber wurden wir bereits im Vorfeld mittels eines Informationsblatts mit allen wichtigen Telefonnummern und Hinweisen informiert.Wir sagen Danke und können die Unterkunft zu 100 % weiterempfehlen. Eventuell werden wir diese zukünftig nochmals in Anspruch nehmen.Herzliche Grüße aus ÖsterreichHarald & Eva

Incroyable !Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette maison, tout y est. Nous avons trouvé l’intérieur de la maison plus spacieux et plus joli que sur les photos, et l’extérieur est sublime. Une grande piscine, un espace à l’ombre pour les repas et de l’intimité.La villa est isolée , c’est ce que nous cherchions mais il fait bien le prendre en compte à la réservation. L’arrivée et le départ se font très facilement.

Vacances en Crête

Superbe villa avec une grande piscine et une vue imprenable sur la mer (y compris depuis la piscine) et les collines aux alentours. Villa propre et moderne très confortable. Piscine de rêve. Passage au milieu de la semaine d'une femme de ménage. On nous a même fait quelques courses pour le 1er jour ! Bref je recommande !

Schitterende villa volledig in rust

We hebben een fijne week gehad in deze villa. Het uitzicht is nog mooier dan de foto’s je vertellen. Het ontbreekt je aan niets in de villa. In eerdere recensies werd gesproken over de keuken en dat deze veel mist, hebben wij niet zo ervaren. De communicatie met de verhuurder is prima, ze willen je graag helpen met alles. De villa ligt echt ver van de stadjes en winkels, dat geeft rust. Nadeel is wel dat de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt die iets betekent, op 45 minuten rijden ligt. De verhuurder wil graag je boodschappen voor je organiseren als je hem dat vraagt via whatsapp. Je betaald dan alleen de kassabon. Wij vonden het echt een nadeel dat de winkels zo ver van je vandaan zijn. De toegangsweg vonden de dames heel erg spannend. De asfaltweg is smal, kronkelig en heeft geen muurtjes of vangrails. Mensen met hoogtevrees vinden deze weg minder leuk. Er zijn genoeg restaurantjes in de omgeving die echt goed eten serveren. De mooiste 3 stranden van Kreta liggen in de buurt van de villa. De zonsondergang bij de villa is echt super! Die maakt van elke avond een bijzondere avond. Kortom; een super mooie villa met alles erop en eraan, als je het niet erg vind dat de supermarkten ver weg liggen en de toegangsweg wat spannend is.

Perfekte Lage, perfektes Haus

Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche in einem perfektem Haus in perfekter Lage verbracht. Tägliche fantastische Sonnenuntergänge waren inklusive. Der Pool, die beiden Schlafzimmer inkl. Bad sowie der große Wohn-/Küchenbereich waren sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet und an Sauberkeit nicht zu übertreffen.

Beautiful house with magnificent view in lovely surrounding

The house and the surroundings more than met our expectations. The owners are lovely and helpful people which already had filled the fridge for us with necessary things when we arrived at night. The house itself is built in Cretan style, very tasteful, having all what you need including a stunning sea view from all rooms! It’s a bit of a drive from Kissamos but you have beautiful beaches (sand and stone) within 20 minutes drive and a small bay even in walking distance. Good Restaurants and minimarts are around 20 mins drive. The pool is great and the house is cleaned regularly. In a nutshell we enjoyed our stay to the fullest and can recommend this property without any restrictions. We will definitely come again 😊

Paradisiaque !

Cette villa est luxueuse, peut-être moins que "celles d"en bas", mais elle au moins bénéficie d'une vue exceptionnelle sur le coucher de soleil ;-). Tout y est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Elle a donc un excellent rapport qualité prix. Tout y est parfait à vrai dire, de l'équipement en cuisine (peut-être ajouter une paire de ciseaux) à la literie en passant par les piscine et terrasse ! En plus l'accueil des propriétaires est tout aussi exceptionnel, panier de bienvenue et produits frais au frigo (si vous arrivez tard pas besoin de faire des courses pour le petit déjeuner du premier jour.. tout y est !), réponses directes à nos demandes et toujours prêts à rendre service. Bref nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans cette magnifique villa.

Super Villa

Wir haben die tolle Villa in einer für uns Top - Lage mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Welche Überraschung: bei der Anreise war der Kühlschrank voll und ein Nachtessen wurde vorbei gebracht. Die Villa ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, mit einer angemessenen Einrichtung. Wir können einen Urlaub in der Villa absolut weiter empfehlen!
