Pali Ke Kua 146, Ocean cliff condo, Enjoy the view!

This ocean cliff condo has views of the ocean from both patios off of the living room and the master bedroom. The dining room is surrounded by three windows with views of the ocean and boasts a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The condo is in Princeville, Kauai, the Garden Island of Hawaii. This is located on the lush north side of the island. Activities include swimming, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, fishing and pickleball. There is a 36 hole golf course and tennis courts within walking distance . The condo complex has its own private access to the beach by way of a paved path, providing privacy as well as a pool and hot tub. The condo complex is called Pali Ke Kua and ours is #146 in building 11. There is a restaurant on site and three within walking distance. Hanalei bay with it's beautiful beach and the quaint town are only minutes away!

The kitchen has been remodeled in 2020 with new floor, cabinets, counter top and appliances. The living room has a 55 inch
smart TV, the master bedroom has a 43 inch smart TV and the second bedroom a 34 inch TV. All TV's are set up for streaming services. The Spectrum TV app is also available for free use. We provide free high speed internet. The full sized high efficiency washer and dryer are yours to use and there are beach chairs and beach towels available.

In late afternoon the sun shines on the lanai and into the condo. There are shades at the edge of the lanai that can be pulled down to shade the lanai. The window treatments in the living room can be closed to keep the sun out if needed. During the summer when the sun is warmest, keeping the window treatments closed for a couple of hours helps to keep the condo cooler.

This vacation spot in paradise has something for everyone.

Our favorite complex!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This would be our 2nd time visiting Kauai and 2nd time staying in this condo complex and we just absolutely LOVE everything about it! From the location, to the views, to the epic beaches within walking distance this is our happy place. The whole property is so well taken care of and ideal for our families needs for an epic vacation.

Spacious condo with beautiful ocean views. NO Air conditioning which turned out to be a real problem for us as the property gets sun in the afternoon. It was impossible to sleep in master even though we kept blinds closed all day and fans going. The smaller back bedroom was cooler at night as it was on the back side. I think the listing should clearly state the property does not have AC.

We loved everything about this property - location, views, pool, hot tub, sunsets, grounds. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. End unit was nice - quieter but property in general was quiet and peaceful.

Phenomenal Condo, Incredible Location & Views

We loved playing baseball and football in the enormous field outside the condo that looks out over the ocean. The sunsets toward Hanalei Bay were a delight. We loved hanging with the Nene birds. The pool and hot tub are awesome. The condo was clean and nice and a good size for our family of four. It was a wonderful trip!

We enjoyed our stay here. The unit was comfortable, nicely decorated, and well equipped. Having a washer and dryer was handy after our hikes. On site pool was nice, and we used it daily. The restaurant on property was good. It was a good base for our North Shore explorations.

Great location, comfy living. Everything you need from good beds, equipped kitchen, beach gear on the best location in Kauai to live. Great views in private area. If there was one thing to complain about: being on the first level was well worth having the ground to walk out (sunset, easy access, nene, toads and birds) to but the footsteps were sometimes annoying.

Probably not a good idea to have a large family with multiple adults and multiple children in upper level. We had loud thumping and running sounds all day and into the night. Definitely could not sleep in.

BEST UNIT ‼️‼️‼️‼️

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at this property. It was closest to the ocean (and Queens Bath) so that we would have coffee while listening to the surf. Plenty to do with exploring the North shore of Kauai. This beautiful home had everything you could possibly need. Thanks for beach chairs and towels and snorkel equipment. King bed was SO comfy. Of all 5 places we stayed in Hawaii this was our favorite.

Tropical island paradise

This is our second time to stay at this unit. It’s beautifully furnished. We love the view and the wildlife is so much fun to watch. Nenes with babies , roosters (yes, he wakes us up in the morning) red top birds, egrets. Sunsets. Be prepared for mosquitoes. We came prepared with spray , after bite and citronella candles. Only been home a day and miss it.

Nice unit, well appointed, terrific setting, BUT, Lady upstairs often kept her yappy dog on the lanai, directly over ours. To make it worse, at odd hours she would take buckets of water and swoosh off her lanai. I can only wonder why!

Great vacation in paradise!

We spent 5 nights in August in this lovely condo and had an amazing time. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and updated, and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. In addition, there were boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, etc which was fantastic as we spent at least part of every day at the beach! The view was beautiful, the pool was close by and the little beach was fun for tidepooling. The only negative comments I might have would be the lack of AC- which is definitely the norm in Princeville, so that isn't necessarily a comment about this particular condo. But it was HOT while we were there and the fans did little to help. There is afternoon sun, making it VERY warm. If you are going in the summer months, you may want to find a place with morning sun! Also, when we arrived we were surprised to find a big hole in the kitchen ceiling drywall. It was covered with a tarp and did not cause any issues, but perhaps a little warning about it would have been nice. Finally, the pool key wasn't working. We notified the rental agency, but when you discover the pool key isn't working, you are clearly trying to use the pool! So that was a bit of a bummer. I would definitely rent again- especially not in the summer!
