My husband and I want to assure you that we take your family's health and safety very seriously. Our house is professionally cleaned after each guest, to ensure your comfort. Our home offers self check in and keyless entry, and if you are more comfortable using your own linens and towels, please let us know and we will accommodate you. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your vacation.

Please enjoy our 3 Bedroom, two bath home, It sleeps 7 comfortably, with 2) queen size bedrooms, and one bedroom with bunk beds and a trundle. There is room for an extra person on our couch. Both full bathrooms have been remodeled, one features a walk in shower, and the other has a tub/shower combo. There is also an outdoor shower for your use after returning from the beach.

Our house does not have air conditioning. There are ceiling fans in the two master bedrooms, and tower and box fans for your use while you enjoy your stay. The open kitchen and living room floor plans have cross ventilation thru the front and back windows

Our home features an open floor plan for the kitchen and living room, complete with skylights. Relax on the patio with your morning coffee or dinner and drinks. There is also a laundry room off of the kitchen with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Additional amenities include two 55" smart TV's, one in the bedroom and one in the living area (use must use your Netflix account), an Xbox 1 (please bring your own games), WIFI, cable TV, an outdoor grill and patio furniture. All linens and towels are included.

It is a short walk to Long Beach from our home (less that 5 minutes), and just a 10 minute walk to Good Harbor Beach if you are looking for a change of scenery.
The house also offers plenty of parking space.

Rockport's famous Bear Skin Neck, with all the art galleries, food and shopping you can enjoy is a bike ride or quick trip in the car downtown (less than 3 miles away).

A few maintenance issues. Blinds in the bedroom that did not work. A towel rack that fell off the wall. An electric outlet that arced. The bunkbed needs work to make it safe. No soap in showers. The layout was great. The location was excellent.

Great location and property

This house is on the Rockport road, walking distance to two beaches. We loved the layout with the bedrooms and baths on the sides, and living/dining/kitchen in the lowered center: master BR/bath on its own side private. The back patio is also very private and nice. Landscaping Five Stars. The visiting wild turkeys pretty cool too.We had a cleanliness issue when we checked in (cleaning crew cutting corners most likely) and contacted the property owner. She was upset and had the issues corrected same afternoon: outstanding response!Thank you.

Our stay was great and allowed us to have a nice place to return to each evening while out at the beach, sightseeing, or spending time with my family (reunion). When a concern arose, the host connected with the property manager to swing by for assistance. The situation was handled and we were able to continue on with the rest of our stay without additional concern.

Family Beach Vacation

Perfect family beach vacation home. Walkable to our favorite beach (Good Harbor). Lots of space and fresh air. We were fortunate to enjoy perfect weather. However, if hot and humid, without a/c the home may have been uncomfortable. Short walk to beach but no side walks on the main road was a bit concerning. We managed with shuttling and to and from beach with driver parking on site and walking back to beach. We had a fabulous time.

Perfect location and lots of common space!

This is the second year in a row that I have stayed at this home with my husband, adult children and their partners and it was just as great this time around. It was a short walk to two beautiful beaches. The home is well organized for our family. The combined kitchen, eat-in area, and living room is a great space for a family reunion! And Ann is very helpful and responsive. Hope to be back next year!

Weekend getaway

The place was wonderful, with a perfect location between Rockport and Gloucester and close to the beach. My family enjoyed our stay there immensely. There are many windows in the house, which was great as there is no air conditioning, but a good few of the screens had holes. Anne was a great host and very communicative.

Wonderful stay

Had a wonderful stay at this property. It was everything we needed. Location was great. Near quite a few attractions and grocery store just down the road. The owner was very prompt with communication and self check-in was great! Only issue and really wasnt that big was the place was tidy...but could've used a little additional care. The throw pillows on the couch are stained up and need to be replaced. Also the bathtub in one of the bathrooms drains very slow. But honestly these issues didn't put a damper on our stay.

October Salem trip

We stayed here for a weeklong trip to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a plan of going to Salem, Vermont, and New Hampshire. The house was nice with no issues for us and the kids. The owner was very responsive when I needed to get ahold of them with questions. Everyone in the general area was very nice to out of towners. The local beach was nice along with the local communities.

Steps

The house was lovely and in a nice locale. The only thing we found difficult to manage were all the steps up and down from the bedrooms. One person in the group has vision issues. But the hosts were very responsive when we had questions.

Great Home

We booked the home for 2 adult couples and this was a great choice! The home looked amazing and was very cozy with the divided floor plan. The host made us feel at home with quick communications back and forth with questions we had. The cleaning crew will need to do some work because there was dust and cob webs throughout the home but still very presentable. Overall I would definitely recommend booking this home and would do it again for our family in a heartbeat.

Nice on the outside, but not in.

Location was great. Access easy. Interior of home was musty smelling, dated, and NO attention to detail in cleanliness. After notifying the owner of the condition we found the house in, we checked out two hours after checking in. We notified the owner to have someone swing by to confirm our departure. The reasonable standards of a VBRO property were not met. Very unsatisfied. Traveled four hours back home. Hoping to see some kind of refund or credit. : (

Location Good But…

A good location for getting either to Gloucester or Rockport. But walking to the beach is hazardous No sidewalks no shoulder. It is however an easy and short ride. Beautiful Beach. The house sleeps 8 but only if two people sleep on the curved leather sofa. Enough room for six Would be a better description. The third shower is an outside shower not enclosed and cold only! The house was very HOT no air the fans provided were very dirty as was the house. Some windows didn’t open well and the living room has no blinds or privacy.I would recommend a new house cleaning service.

Wonderful home

This is a perfect home for a family. The house is spacious and clean. The yard is beautiful and easy parking. The walk to the closest beach is 5 minutes. Ice cream and great pizza right at the corner. Downtown Rockport is minutes away. Downtown Gloucester is about 10 minutes away. Perfect location. Can't wait to stay again

Good house and location close to beach as advertised. House was clean and private. Suggest window treatments in living room windows. Overall, good stay on a short notice. We had a great time in Rockport/Gloucester.

I love Gloucester. The beaches, the fishing, the local shops and miost especialy the people.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our house, set back from the road, is secluded from surrounding properties in the back by a large rock wall, and a privacy hedge in front. My children love climbing here, and it offers privacy while you are using the yard. I love tho, that the house is so centrally located that you can just walk to the beach, or drive to the shops.
