"If you are lucky enough to live by the sea, you are lucky enough", a quote from Ernest Hemmingway which truly describes this condo. Just steps from the water's edge in the desirable East End of St. Thomas, it features incredible views of the Caribbean Sea and the British Virgin Islands beyond.
Freshly renovate and decorated, this bright and airy condominium features all the comforts of home including a fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, TV, wireless internet access and a DVD and book library. We have also included all the linens, towels (beach and bath) you might need; beach chairs and bags; even coolers.
Your mornings start on the patio overlooking Vessup Bay, under bright blue skies and a tropical breeze. Relax with a beverage of your choice on your private patio as you watch the sailboats pass by your door. In the evening, enjoy a tropical drink while experiencing a sunset you can only find in the Caribbean.
The property is just a five minute walk to world famous white sand beaches, some of the best restaurants on the island, and a lively evening scene. Ferries that can take you to the nearby islands of St. John and the British virgin Islands are but a short walk away.
Your home away from home is located overlooking a pristine coral beach and just minutes from some of the best boating, snorkeling, paddle boarding, windsurfing and scuba diving that St. Thomas has to offer.

Great location

Finding the condo was not easy. Maps was confusing. Better details would be helpful. The condo was great. The view was the best! The owners were super helpful and had quick replies to any questions or concerns we had. Enjoyed the restaurants in Red Hook. Driving was our biggest challenge. Beautiful beaches.

Calm and Relaxing Property

Great condo right on the water (literally 10 ft from shoreline), that provided for a calm and relaxing week just listening to the waves roll in every morning and evening. Very quiet side of the island, if looking for a getaway without the hustle and bustle of being in town. The proximity to Redhook was perfect for getting groceries, going to dinner and catching the ferry. Would highly recommend staying here! Condo was clean and good amenities as well.

everything went well except the shower. The floor of the shower is very slippery and there is nothing to hold it someone is falling. It would be nice and beneficial if the owner could install some bars to hold to prevent falls

Trip to paradise

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The photos and description are accurate, the view was amazing. There were three of us and it was cozy, but quite doable as we were out and about enjoying the sights during the day. Our local host Jackie was amazing! She was super responsive and attentive. Glad we stayed here as it is away from the hustle and bustle of Charlotte Amalie. Red Hook offered some nice little shops and places to eat. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Great location

Close to red hook and ferry. Great local food options. Porch was the best. Right on water. Bed were older and harder than we prefered. Plenty of towels. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. Even some supplies in bathroom. Porch box was awesome with chairs, umbrella, and if we needed snorkel gear. We brought our own. It wasnt hard at all to find. Just put in condo name and it came right up. Is well marked from road also. We would return again Some bug issues but it is a tropical island so you cant get away from that. Keep food sealed and take trash out evey night and you wont have any issues.Thanks for a wonderful stay. Will be returning to buy hopefully soon.

Great property, not so great owner

Let me first say that the property was clean and well put together. This would have been a 5-star review if the check-in process would have went well. When directions were asked about how to get to the property, the wrong directions were given. We were so blessed to have a taxi driver who stayed with us once realizing that the directions given took us to the wrong place. I had to call the property owner 3 times as he kept sending me straight to voicemail and then once I notified him of the situation his response was “well I emailed you the directions”. The cab driver then asked to speak to the owner and was given a totally different set of instructions! This made for a very frustrating check in experience and the owner didn’t even apologize! We were also told that snorkeling equipment would be available but then when asked about it, the owner stated that “they must have walked off” so we just bought our own. My advice to the owner would be: You have a great space here with a beautiful view…don’t make your customers experience less than satisfactory due to a bad attitude and unclear directions.

Perfect stay

It was really a lovely place to stay. Very well stocked and comfortable in a convenient and beautiful location. Recommend highly. Robert and Carol were super helpful as well.

Best place to stay on the island. Killer snorkeling close to Red Hook right outside your condo I saw Blowfish cuttlefish all kinds of random fish throughout there

Home away from home.

We arrived to this very cute little community and it sits right up on the beach. You can sleep with patio door open and listen to the waves. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. It's clean, the neighbors were extremely nice and welcoming. Felt very safe, and its super beautiful.

Amazing Getaway

Robert's place was very clean and modern but had all the right touches to make it feel like home. The view is amazing and made it that much easier to wake up (even when the roosters started early). Ivan was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. I have already recommended this place to family and friends and plan to be back one day again. Tip: rent a car! there is so much to see and do on the island. Walking is not an option and taxis take too much time to plan.

Darling place, beautiful view but...

Darling little place with everything you need to stay in St. Thomas, fully stocked with supplies, use of beach chairs, etc. Fantastic view, great location....however, there was water damage in the condo (floors buckled, soft spots) and they don't keep it cool enough in there between guests so it stays humid and damp and large gaps around doorway - all ideal for bugs. Yes, we had bug problems! We had hundreds of little sugar ants, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. Try preparing food on a counter covered in ants or go to brush your teeth to find ants on your toothbrush. Yuck. We also had cockroaches clicking in the walls/sideboards at night - which was creepy! EEK! Never saw them though. They had a can of ant and cockroach spray they left out for us to use.... Thank you? We used bug spray the entire time we were there on our bodies to keep things off of us while we slept, but we all still came home with little bites all over our bodies. Not sure if we got them from the condo or if it was beach fleas or? Anyway, darling place, cute decor, magnificent view, ideal location but they need an exterminator in there, water damage repaired, properly sealed doors and floors, a dehumidifiers that constantly runs - even between guest visits. They ask you to turn off air conditioning while out for the day but the heat and humidity is terrible in there when you do. So much so that it caused all of the wall hangings to stick to the paint (I only know because I lifted some away from the wall to check for cockroaches behind them). Sorry for the bad review, owners! I really did think your place looked darling and had many great qualities, but it needs some work and proper maintenance before I'd choose to come back. I also emailed you while we were there about all of this but you never responded. Once these things are fixed, this would be an awesome place to stay though!

Fished from shore...Watched hundreds of boats come and go...Went for morning runs out around the point. Great spot.

Wonderful time staying at the Cabrita Condos. Waking up to the ocean breeze was heavenly. Close to the ferry, RedHook, and other local restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Great location, beautiful view

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was perfect for 2 people. The view from the deck was amazing, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. We were only a few minutes drive from great beaches and restaurants, and only a short distance from the ferry terminal for island hopping. This will definitely not be our last trip to St. Thomas, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy and quaint condo

This condo is located on the east end of the island, away form the hustle and bustle of Charlotte Amalie, it is very close to Red Hook which has good restaurants and bars, the ferry to St. John and Tortola leaves from Red Hook, so this is the place to be when going to these islands. The condo itself is good size for 3 people and perfect for 2, it is well furnished and clean, the kitchen is very small, there is no dishwasher as there is no place for it. There are plenty of dishes, glasses etc. The condo was very clean, with clean linens and towels. The area is quiet there is a public beach a short walk away on one side of the road, and the Ritz Carleton with a beach on the other side of the road. The condo is about 30 ft from the water, the deck is a perfect place to have coffee in the morning while watching the ferry go by.

SERENITY FOUND! QUIET, PEACEFUL, RIGHT ON THE WATER PERFECTION

My husband and I stayed at this condo for a week and it was perfect. Simple, and understated, it has a full kitchen and ample living room, and comfortable bedding. The view from the porch is FANTASTIC and you can walk 10 feet and be in the water. The waves sound like they are crashing up right outside the door and THEY ARE. We were looking for somewhere "off the grid" the unwind, relax, and renew our spirits and this place could not have been more perfect. It is still close to several restaurants of downtown, and super close to the Ferry at Red Hook Bay. If you are looking for a place for your soul to renew, this is it.

A little slice of heaven

This condo is right on the ocean. Something we were looking for. Very quiet unit. It felt like we were the only ones there. Tastefully decorated, it was easy to feel at home here. The owners have not forgotten a thing to make the stay memorable. Another bonus is the location. There is shopping, cruises and great restaurants nearby. We will definitely be going back. We never wanted to leave!

The view from the balcony cannot be beat. Just steps from the ocean, the sound of waves breaking will lull you to sleep at night or during the day. The balcony is in the shade thru most of the day - combined with a breeze it is the perfect place to relax.
