True Getaway

Perfect place for a much needed weekend out of the Dallas Heat and time away from work. Felt a little Like being on a cruise with the water hitting under the house. A treat to watch surfers, walk on a quiet beach and just let go. Amber and her son,Leon, could not have been more gracious. Thank you

Ocean therapy peace & perfection on scenic PCH ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I booked this stunningly beautiful Malibu beach house based on the reviews —for a last minute solo retreat / ocean & nature therapy. I couldn’t have asked for a better locale. The home was spotless and had views from every room and a large deck & all the amenities. I could hear the waves even with the doors closed. My life stress washed away with every wave. I didn’t want to leave. Very private locale - had my own personal beach. Amber was very accommodating and made sure I was taken care of by telling me about the local spots and where to order food delivery from and also made sure the house was stocked with water. I hiked to top of sandstone peak - the route to the trailhead was just outside my door - highly recommend. Best vacay ever. I will make this retreat an annual tradition.

Malibu tranquility escape

This property is great whether you want a weekend getaway from LA or a month stay. It is located just past the Los Angeles county and Ventura county line in the better part of Malibu. It's location is better than South Malibu and Central Malibu because it does not have the congestion, heavy traffic and noise the other places have because of CPH. It is located farther onto the beach from CPH so you do not hear any traffic. Parking is easy as well as getting on to CPH. This is a newly remodeled place with all of the most modern amenities. I have stayed at other places on the beach in Malibu which were older and less comfortable as well as being in the congestion in traffic of South Malibu. Whether you want to stay at this place or visit LA for concerts plays or comedy clubs it is worth the little extra in travel time. WeHo,NoHo and SoFi stadium are about an hour and 15 minutes at the worst time of driving during the day and about 45 minutes at nite. Montecito and Santa Barbara are also closer than from Central Malibu. All of the restaurants in Malibu are also close as well as any shops and grocery stores you need for your stay. This is the only place I've been able to walk on the beach because there is more time in between the high and low tides. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. The best I've had. There is a new refrigerator freezer and dishwasher. The stove top and inner stove also work very well and are very modern. I unreservedly recommend this place.

Beautiful beach cottage

I stayed for 10 days off-season, using the property to do some work, but I was keen to be able to walk my dog on the beach which was literally perfect. In the house, the sound of the surf just below the deck never gets old. The cottage is well-appointed, and the host Amber has taken pains to make sure the kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked with essentials. I will also note that Amber was a very considerate, communicative, and generous host.

Amazing!!

Beautiful property in the best location right on top of the water. Waves crashing through the balcony and a show of surfers daily. Place was immaculate and like everyone said, Amber made the difference - super responsive from when I inquired about the property until the end! Going back for sure!!!

Wonderful break for a weekend. Covid-friendly.

This is a small beautifully located one room, small home with a deck that sits out over the sand and water. It is perfectly situated for a couple and idea for Covid breaks when you can't really enjoy LA culture or even eating out. It is self-contained, with waves crashing beneath your balcony and a dreamy bed to sleep in. Bring your walking shoes, groceries and books, blue tooth speaker for music and your favorite wines. It's perfect. It's at the northernmost point in Malibu about 12 miles from Oxnard. Quiet beach of about 12 houses sitting on the sand. Lovely. We will try to come back when we can. Amber greeted us and delivered a duraflame log for our fire which was a welcome gift when it cooled off. It is not inexpensive but if you are not travelling anywhere else, it's a blissful break and worth it.

Perfect Beach Getaway

This apartment is all about the location. There's nothing better than waking up to see dolphins playing just off your deck before you even get out of bed. While the space isn't large, it's perfect if you're just looking to relax on the beach. Restaurants and "downtown" Malibu are within 10-15 minutes and incredibly easy to get to via car. Amber was incredibly helpful and responsive to our questions and made our stay seamless. We highly recommend this property!

Lovely weekend

This house is gorgeous. Its a studio apartment on the water. Me and my partner went there for my birthday. It was lovely. The apartment is a bit older than I thought but its very well taken care off. The kitchen has everything you need same with the bathroom. Its a great spot also if you like surfing. I went surfing right in front of the house. It is very calming to wake up to the ocean.

Quick getaway

Needed to see the ocean during this crazy time so came with our 4 year old and 10 month old. Found this awesome place right on the beach. It worked out well for our family but definitely wish we had no kids. :) It is great for a small family or couple. Was able to enjoy the lovely balcony right over the water. When low tide you had the whole beach to enjoy. Place had all the items needed. Had a restaurant across street for all basic food burgers, seafood etc. Local market was around a 10 min drive away. We will definitely be back!

Amazing beach house

We stayed M-F at this fantastic property. Very close to Vintage Grocers, Neptunes Net, and County Line surf break. The house is so wonderful, we never left!! It had everything we needed and Amber was very attentive when we needed some lightbulbs replaced. Very comfortable for a couple. Open floor plan was perfect for us. We spent almost all our time on the balcony watching the ocean and sea life. We would definitely stay here again!!! Thanks for having us, Amber!!

Relaxing beach getaway

This property is utterly amazing! It is away from the hustle and bustle of main Malibu, so that you can just relax and listen to the waves, and watch surfers and wildlife (we literally saw dolphins everyday). The property has every amenity that you would ever need (cups, plates, utensils, coffee maker, etc). Note the property does not have A/C but it is not necessary with the amazing sea breeze, and you are literally right on the water. Amber, the owner, is so responsive and accommodating. This is a must stay!

Paradise Found

Have stayed in Malibu and other beach cities over the years, This tranquil location with waves right outside the Beach House made for the most pleasurable time away from the realities of distant learning, Pandemic and even escaped the horrible air quality due to the fires. Unbelievable location and with an owner who goes up and above to insure everything is to our pleasing. Amber is the perfect compliment to the inspiring scenery. Only regret is we couldn't escape for longer but hopefully will return soon. Our family will remember this time together fondly and will be talked about for years to come.

Great Vacay Spot

We stayed here for a mid-week vacation with our 2 year old and labradoodle and had a great time. The space is great -- big rooms, nice bathrooms, solid kitchen, excellent deck, beautiful beach. Minutes away from Malibu Seafood. Laundry machines were useful and beach access makes life with a toddler and a dog easy-peezy. The lot next door is empty which means you have EXCELLENT view not just out the front window/deck but the big side window.

Paradise!!!

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said, but this place is absolutely perfect. The pictures don't even begin to do it justice. Super clean, the perfect size for a romantic getaway and you couldn't be closer to the ocean. Check-in is a breeze and Amber is a great host - super prompt and professional. We'll be daydreaming about this place for years and will certainly be back!

Perfect location and what is Malibu all about

The house is perfect size for feeling on the water . All amenities are quality and comfort. Was very comfortable stay and the feeling of being on the water . Hosts have everything available . Such a wondrf retreat and felt like sleeping on a boat ;) loved every minute of it .

Great stay, great location, fantastic host!

Amber is a fantastic host. We have stayed at Livingston beach before but our first time staying at this house. It was extremely clean and very well maintained with a fantastic deck and great views. We had zero issues and Amber was always just a quick text or call away with any questions and always quick to reply. West Malibu is a great place if you are looking to really get away from all of the noise and crowds and a short drive to central Malibu if you are looking for more people and a 5 minute drive to Trancas Country Market and Kristy's restaurant. Oh the water!!
