Beautiful Beach Condo with ocean view and 2 Pools!

Southwinds is a Private Community with 2 Pools! Our unit has an ocean views from the deck and Sound View from Front Deck! We are on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Beautiful kitchen, baths, sleeps 5 comfortably.

Living Room with flat screen HD TV, internet. Master Bedroom with queen size bed and ½ bath. Second Bedroom has 1 double bed and 1 twin size bed. Bring your own sheets and towels or rent them from Blue Water Services!

Kitchen is furnished with microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, full set of dishes, glasses and utensils, everything you need. Hair dryer and iron in master bath. Deck chairs on balcony to enjoy ocean view. Laundry facilities are next to the ocean pool, bran new in 2023 and no cost! Courtyard is beautifully landscape with gazebos, charcoal grills, and picnic tables.

Southwinds does not allow smoking in units or on the balcony!
No trailers or boats allowed in the parking lot, they will be towed.

- Visit Fort Macon historical Fort, beautiful grounds and museum
- Visit the NC Aquarium – fresh and saltwater exhibits
- Fish off of the pier down by the Atlantic Beach water tower

Perfect for a family getaway

This condo was the perfect way to spend a few days at the beach. With the Coronavirus, it was nice to have a place away from busier beaches where we could have a great time without crowds. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautifully remodeled with nice Ocean view

Very clean and newly updated. Just a short walk to the ocean and a short drive to everything else. Really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beach getaway

Loved our stay. Enjoyed the beach, pool, shops and restaurants. The condo was extremely clean and the owner was so accommodating. Highly recommend. The complex itself very well taken care of and clean.

WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION

The place was neat and clean. Check in instructions were easy to follow and it was just the most perfect, quaint place for visiting the beach and pool with our children. It was also a great location for close dining options and other activities to enjoy each evening. We hope to stay at the same place next year!

Great vacation

This was our first time visiting Atlantic Beach, NC and we loved it. We’re already planning next year’s trip. Eileen, the property owner, was great and easy to communicate with. Condo was adorable. Short walk to beach and kids lived the pool. Ride into town was easy. No complaints.

Every thing was exactly as described in booking process. Absolutely had the best time with family and all the friends who were also at the same condos... pools were clean staff was great felt completely safe and the BEACH!!!!! I RECOMMEND IT 💯

Family Vacation 2024

We had a great time at the beach! It was the first time staying at this condominium but everything was clean quite and comfortable! We had ample room for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids). This is by far our favorite beach and we can’t wait to return next year! Eileen was so easy to communicate with and is so nice! You won’t be disappointed!

Very good!!!Perfect!

Great condo. The apartment is new, clean, everything works great. The beds are good. The mattresses are good. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment. There are a lot of kitchen utensils. There are no minuses. The only minus for me personally was that there was no washing machine in the apartment, I had to go to the territory and that there were no towels and bed linen. But again, this is not a big minus. You can bring your own linen and go for a walk to the laundry room)

Clean & convenient - just what we needed!

The property was nice, and the location was great! We had a short stay, but enjoyed the condo. The kitchen and bath are not newly updated, but very functional and clean. I appreciated the owner’s communication about recommended activities and restaurants, and also the little things like a basket of books to read (wish I had been there a day longer to finish the book I started!) and games under the TV. Having a smart TV to be able to sign in to Netflix/etc. was helpful too.

Will be going back!

First time at Southwinds, property is well kept, pools were nice and clean, and never mobbed with kids throwing balls and such as other places don't seem to prohibit. Easy access to the beach. More peaceful down in this area closer to Ft Macon! I somehow misunderstood the VRBO instructions to get in but the owner was easily available, she was awesome! Hoping i can hook up here again next summer :)

The stairs are a challenge. I could not get Netflixes or Amazon as advertised. The beach is beautiful. One of the widest beaches I have ever seen. Atlantic Beach claims to have the clearest water in North Carolina and the water is clear. A plus is the pool is right across the street. There is plenty of parking also. There are plenty of restaurant but my favorite is The Sanitary in Morehead City.

Greet weekend at this beach condo!

This condo was perfect for our weekend trip for our friends' wedding. The condo is in close proximity to lots of great restaurants, activities, and Food Lion - we never had to drive more than ten minutes to go anywhere. The pool is very relaxing and beach access is right outside the condo. The neighbors were all very friendly and quiet. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, and provided very clear instructions (and also suggestions!). We will definitely rent again if we ever head back to Atlantic Beach! Thanks!

Cute place...so relaxing!

This condo is beautiful and very well maintained! We enjoyed our stay at Atlantic beach! The beach was very clean (no seaweed or trash) and just beautiful and not at all crowded. Great sea shells too! We spent 2 days at the pool and we were the only ones there! It was fantastic! If you like a touristy location with traffic and an abundance of activities, this is NOT the vacation for you! It is a place for rest and relaxation! Our only regret? Not staying longer!

Inside seemed brand new

The inside of the condo seemed brand new. It was nice and clean. It was a short walk to the beach. They were doing a lot of work in the complex so the outside wasn’t the nicest but I’m sure once all the work is done it’ll be nice (work outside the complex was not the owner’s fault...just something that we noted)

This was a great little condo!

We had a great stay at Southwinds. The 3rd floor with no elevator and a young child was a little challenging at times, but overall the place was very nice, well-stocked, and had a great view. We only used the pool right near the condo and it was great. The location on the beach is nice and quiet since it is towards the end. Our only issue was not being able to find a nice chef's knife to cut through our whole watermelon, but we made it work! Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely stay again. Also, Eileen was great to work with prior to our trip and quickly answered any questions we had.

An awesome place!

We have been visiting Atlantic Beach for a span of 30 years getting together with family that is scattered around the country. This may have been the most cared for place we’ve stayed. The unit was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for our almost 2 week visit. The owner, Eileen, was extremely responsive to all our communications. Situated on a quiet stretch of the beach with easy access, yet close enough to all the great things that the area has to offer. The facility grounds were also very well taken care of. There are two very nice pools on the property. Hardly anyone was at the pool each time we popped in - It was almost like having our own private pool. The only thing that could’ve possibly made the stay better overall would’ve been access to laundry right inside the unit. That was a bit of a challenge for the length of our stay. This may be a non-issue with a shorter stay. Laundry facilities are available on property, however, they were not the most reliable. Each time we went to the laundry facility, there were multiple machines out of order, and one time our coins were swallowed without the machine starting. In the big picture of things, you really only need your bathing suit (or a few bathing suits) when you’re vacationing at the beach!! : ) Our stay was wonderful and this place was a great! We look forward to staying again.

I think our beach condo has everything you need! You can find peace and quiet at the beach or pools. Bring your bikes or rent them, go kayaking, skim board or enjoy a walk on the beach to Fort Macon State Park or down to the Pier and Water Tower. Pick up some fresh seafood and grill out or explore some amazing restaurants in the area. There is just so much to do!
