Central Strozzi is a prestigious apartment located in the center of Florence near Palazzo Strozzi, just 2 minutes walk from Piazza della Signoria and Piazza del Duomo. The perfect location in the heart of the city makes this apartment the perfect starting point for visiting Florence.

The apartment is very spacious and consists of a large, very bright room with a double sofa bed, television and dining table, two very elegant bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with three single beds), a well-equipped kitchen and two large complete bathrooms with shower.

The house is elegantly furnished in a classic style and retains some details typical of the Tuscan tradition such as the ceiling with exposed wooden beams and the terracotta floor.

Central Strozzi is located on the third floor without a lift; here you will find internet with unlimited Wi-Fi and independent heating.

Location was outstanding, Host was easy to work with. Property was a little more 'used' than evidenced by the photos, but everything was functional, linens were clean and it filled our needs very well.

This flat was in the perfect location - walkable to all major locations, close to excellent restaurants, and quiet at night. The flat is spacious and comfortable as well. I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Florence.

Great location. Everything you need is close by, cafe, bakery, grocery, wine windows, museums, food, shopping. 15 minute walk to everything.

The apt was clean, tidy and spacious. Everything was great except the beds were not comfortable at all. I would consider replacing the old spring frames and mattresses for future guests. Otherwise, we had a great time.

This is a nice apartment. It has recently renovated bathrooms and kitchen. There are dishes and pans for cooking but no basic pantry items like spices. There is a nice laundry washer and drying rack. The beds are comfy and linens nice. The AC is fair, like other b&b's in Italy, it cools but doesn't dehumidify so it's not great for allergy sufferers but better than nothing. It is on the 3rd floor, 60 steps up a steep narrow staircase so pack light. The staff was very responsive and easy to work with. The location is great. The furnishings are spare and the sofa is very worn. The WiFi is good.

Perfect location!

It's in a quieter part of the historic district, so we were able to get a decent night's sleep. Plenty of room to stretch out. I would stay there again!

Location location location !!

You could not find a more perfect location to enjoy Florence - waking from everything but not on central square so you can get a good night sleep and make the most of everyday. Spacious , clean, comfortable accommodations - excellent internet and again the most fantastic spot - near duomo, ponte vecchio, restaurants and more

Great location

The apartment is well located to walk to all the areas we wanted to see, shopping at the leather market, "the bridge", restaurants, sites, could walk from and to train station, etc. Good communication on meeting for entry and tax payment.

The location was great, convenient to everything. The photos make the unit more charming than it actually is. The sofa was very old and not clean. The chairs around the table were mismatched but not in an eclectic way. The lighting was very dim throughout except in the bathrooms. The bathroom could definitely use more storage. The beds were fine but more pillows would have made them more comfortable. Kitchen towels or paper towels would have been useful. There was instant coffee but tea would have been nice. Some fresh paint, a new sofa, a chair or two and some better lighting would make this a much better unit. The walk-up was pretty high with luggage but we knew that going in. On the plus side, Oscar, our host was attentive and helpful, and as mentioned the location was great!

Heart of Florence

Our family of 6 (age range 4-48) stayed here in Florence and it couldn’t have been more convenient. It was a relatively quick/easy walk from Firenze S. M. train station and in the heart of the Renaissance walk around Florence. Management was very communicative and accessible. FYI you must walk up flights of stairs to access (we were perfectly fine with it)

Four days in florence

The apartment is in a great location. I couldn’t get the key to work and he came over immediately to help it was my fault. So the customer service is great. We would stay again.

A very noisy place

We didnt sleep because it was very noisy the whole(!)night. Rooms are not very cozy... apartment doesnt have a dishwasher, to find a supermarket was not so easy. check-in was ok.

Florence in June

This property is in a great location. It is 4 stories high with no elevator- be ready! The stay was not luxurious and very basic sheets and pillows. The master bedroom bathroom was decent, but the hall one was super tiny. The most disappointing part was that the air did not work the first 24 hours in 90 heat. They sent a maintenance worker and then we had to drain the leaking unit every few hours. There was a coffee percolator but no machine. It was a decent stay after the air was fixed and we made due with the small bathroom.

The property was clean and the area around the property is wonderful. The reason for the lower rating was the communication and attentiveness from the property manager/owner. The person checking us in was in a hurry was not friendly (like we were putting him out). The air conditioner did not work, bed was uncomfortable, the sheets/blankets were minimal and the furniture was shabby. Not really enjoyable.

The apartment is in a great location, and is spacious with lots of windows and light. However was not clean, dirty dishes and cutlery in drawers/ cupboards, floors were dirty There is no equipment to clean dishes such as detergent, wipes, cloths, brushes or tea towells. The process to ask about these was a little bit tedious and then were advised to buy our own. Not really acceptable for the price and this was not disclosed There were dirty dishes and cutlery put back into drawers and the floors were dirty This definitely tainted our stay as a family of five it was not practical to not be able to clean dishes and it felt like they probably aren’t clean anyway!

Needs Improvement

Overall, we were disappointed with this rental. To start with the positives, it is in a wonderful location right next to the luxury shopping district and easily walkable to all of the main attractions in Florence. Additionally, the apartment is very large and has lots of natural light. Unfortunately, upon our arrival the apartment smelled intensely of cigarette smoke and stayed that way the entire time - to the point our clothing still smelled like it at the end of our two week trip (and this was our first stop). The worst aspect, however, was the furniture. The mattresses and pillows were awful and made it near impossible to have a decent nights sleep (pillows maybe one inch thick, mattresses thin and hard). The couch seemed very dirty and old. Overall disappointed and we would not stay here again unless the furniture was updated and the smoke smell was resolved, hence the three star rating.

Great location. Lots of restaurants and shops and near major landmarks. Lots of steps to the apartment. So if you have a lot of big luggage, think twice. Clean beds and bathrooms. The floors were dirty; after walking a few minutes barefoot, my feet were black. Bring slippers. The air conditioner in the Living Room did not work (during a heat wave), and you need to empty the pan since there is no drainage hose.
