We invite you to enjoy the splendor of Songbird of the Mountain! This custom designed, two-story cabin sits almost atop of a mountain and offers guests amazing views of the Smokies, privacy, and luxury.

Hardwood floors and ceilings throughout, as well as a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen at Songbird is fully stocked. A handy utility room in the basement provides a washer and driver.

Songbird offers Wi-Fi , two bedrooms, two full baths, indoor Jacuzzi, and flat screen television with satellite.

One bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed and the other a full size with quality bedding and unobstructed views of the mountains. The deck is wonderful for bird and nature watching and offers a breath-taking view of the mountain range. There is on the deck a park-style grill, picnic table, and rocking chairs.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OUTDOOR FIREPLACE HAS BEEN REMOVED DUE TO SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS!!

Songbird is a 30-minute drive to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved the secluded location and beautiful views. Great spot for hiking in Smokey Mountain National Park and shopping around Gatlinburg. Hot tub was very nice after day of hiking. Cabin was very clean and kitchen was well supplied. Drive into cabin was no problem.

Great central place to stay for us for hiking with our dog in the Cherokee Mountains, ziplining, white water rafting, and going to Gatlinburg for a day. Stay was excellent and views from decks were outstanding.

The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was well maintained, gorgeous views and exactly what we had hoped for. The drive up can be challenging if you donā€™t have a good car but our suv had no issues. I highly recommend this place. Great combo of peaceful nice retreat and affordability. I will be staying again

The cabin was great and the kitchen well appointed. Everything was very clean and in working condition. The only negative is the road leading up to the cabin. Itā€™s gravel and very steep. Our front wheel drive vehicle couldnā€™t make it up when it was fully loaded with humans and our stuff. We literally drove in reverse.

Beautiful property, it was in a very quiet area which we loved. No neighbors or ability to see anything besides the Mountain View right from the bedroom window. Easy access to the Smokey mountain trails and neighbor towns. Definitely would stay again.

A beautiful location and cozy cabin

The cabin is remote and the route to get there isnā€™t the simplest drive, but thatā€™s a big part of the charm! This is a beautiful, peaceful, quiet cabin in the woods. Once youā€™re there youā€™ll feel like you have the mountain to yourself. The place was very clean and we had a great stay.

On top of the Smokies

Very clean inside and outside . Worth the money. My wife and myself set on deck for hours looking at the Smokies. We allso enjoyed the way the full moon shined across the mountains. Very humbling.

The property was perfect! Secluded, comfortable, and with a great view. Loved that it was pet friendly as that was a requirement for us. Washer and dryer provided but bring your own detergent!

This is an excellent pet friendly property with absolutely amazing views and a hot tub that can be enjoyed no matter how cold it gets. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a PRIVATE mountainside getaway within earshot of Gatlinburg and the Smokies. I'm an engineer so to give anything a perfect review is tough. The few notes I have on this place, which would in no way prevent me from rebooking it, are not having explicit instructions for the property i.e. fireplace use, hot tub use, TV use etc. The TV use may sound a silly one, but there was like 5 remotes...I drive a car with 230k miles and was able to get up the road just fine. There's about a 1/8 acre of yard for the dogs. There's only one house further up the road above this one and I suspect it's mostly vacant (we didn't see anyone the whole week), so it's very private. Buzzards Roost was an amazing hike a short drive from here. The local markets are nothing special but the local taco truck is amazing and the local book store, Our Place, is a must stop early in your trip. All-in-all, very happy with our stay. Wish we had a few more days to just enjoy the house/location instead of being always on the go.

The house was clean and very cute. Incredible views from both balconies. The hills going up to the house are no joke, but we did just fine without 4 wheel drive. Great house for a getaway weekend!

Super accurate to description, great view, very clean, road to get there is a little sketchy but was fine with 4WD in rainy weather and 2WD in normal weather, really enjoyed our stay, dollar general and gas station nearby, no ladybugs, overall thoroughly enjoyed.
