For more than 150 years, Villa Iolanda has been the manor house for the summer of the family of the current owners of the Piano di Casciana farm. In fact, it was the custom of noble families to move in the warm months from city palaces to country estates, equally sumptuous, also in order to control agricultural work.
Rich in history and tradition, it shows the typical structure of Tuscan villas: in the cellar below there are still vats, barrels and containers where the oil was stored.
Over time, efforts have been made to preserve the typicality of the structure as much as possible, maintaining and restoring the original furnishings.
The colors of the Tuscan countryside complete the scenario, starting with the ancient handmade Tuscan terracotta floors.
During their stay our guests live completely immersed in a magical atmosphere where time passes slowly, between serene walks on the estate and visits to places of art; the daily stress of the city will be only a memory.
Despite the ancient atmosphere, everything that will make the guests' stay comfortable has been added, making available all the amenities typical of our modernity.
The garden is private and fenced, there are statues and tables in sandstone originating from the time of construction; there is also a large table with chairs for outdoor lunches or dinners in the tranquility of the Lucca countryside.
To the north of the villa, private parking is available.

The Villa, as was typical in the Lucca countryside, has one side joined to another property, but is completely independent of it.
It is accessed from two noble entrances (up and north side) through which you pass into a large elegant hall with original frescoes on the ceiling. There is another sitting room with a desk useful for laptop use and a flat screen TV with digital terrestrial. Also on the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which are also furnished with original period furniture, both have a private bathroom and a twin bedroom. The kitchen is located on the ground floor and is well equipped (dishes, toaster, American coffee machine, moka coffee maker, dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge / freezer, microwave, juicer, hand blender ...) and has a small dining area. . On the first floor - which is accessed via an internal staircase leading to a large hallway - there is a further large living room with sofas and table with chairs, 5 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with single beds, 1 bedroom with bed bunk for children up to 12 years) and finally 4 bathrooms.
Free Wi-Fi throughout the company, private Barbecue area in the garden with table and 16 chairs, living area with sail, private salt-purified pool, shared Ping Pong table, fence with farm animals. Welcome pack. Soap, foam baths, toilet paper as well as cleaning products are provided. Inside the structure there is also the Life Path, equipped and surrounded by greenery, for physical activity
