Marina View apartment with personal WiFi & UK TV

Superb luxury apartment, situated on the Marina de Lagos, with modern contemporary decoration to ensure that your stay will be unsurpassed.
This spacious apartment is situated on the 2nd floor with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake and Marina.
There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with washing machine, microwave, electric oven & hob, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
The entrance hall with its beautiful stone-faced wall takes you through to the lounge, dining room & bedrooms. The lounge/dining room is beautifully furnished with sliding doors leading out to the balcony. The balcony is equipped with a table and chairs for you to enjoy dining outside.
The master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with high quality fittings. A separate shower room serves the twin bedroom.
We supply towels and bed linen for the apartment, please note we do not provide beach/pool towels.
The property is equipped with it´s own personal Wifi so that you can keep connected and satisfy those youngsters amongst your party.
There is also air conditioning in both bedrooms and living area to keep you cool on those hot summer days.
The wall mounted flat screen TV has the standard Portuguese channels plus the added bonus of a TV wifi box which can provide UK channels BBC1, BBC2,ITV, CH4 and a selection of Sky films, sports and kids channels.

There is 2 private parking spaces in the underground garage which has elevator access to the apartment.
The Marina itself has a 24 hour security surveillance.

There is a supermarket (Pingo Doce) 2 minutes walk away, restaurants and bars on the marina are 5 minutes away from the apartment, finally the town and beach are also 10 mins walk away. Therefore if you do not wish to have a car then you are in a wonderful setting to enjoy everything in walking distance.

Stayed here with my mom, and we had a wonderful time staying here. Everything was so clean and very accurate to the pictures. Our check in with Jo was so seamless, and she was so accommodating and understanding when we arrived later than expected due to a train delay. The location was amazing, very central to everything. I felt very safe as the walking path in the marina is lit up at night. The best part is the terrace, with a beautiful view of the marina. I would without a doubt book this again in the future!

We think the price of this unit in off season, was very expensive.

Lagos holiday

Lovely property in a good location. This is our 4th time in Lagos, the property is about 20 min walk to old town Lagos and 5 mins to bars and restaurants in the Marina, which we already knew when we booked. Good supermarket 2 mins walk away. Parking under the property is a real plus if you have a car.

Happy Hour on balcony

We really enjoyed drinks and snacks on the balcony at the end of the day . Huge grocery store a block away and lots of restaurants a short walk away . Listing was as described. Highly recommend.

Fabulous

Fabulous apartment close to everything. Check was extremly easy, we had stayed in Lagos before but Jo the host was extremely helpful and informative, going that extra mile and organise a our transfer to the airport for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a contact number for any problems which was reassuring. Apartment was cleaned and bedfing and towels were changed half way through our stay ( 2 weeks). Would definately book again. Customer service from start to finish was excellent

Alles wie beschrieben. Das Appartment ist mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern wirklich groß. Perfekt sauber, und auch der Handtuch- und Bettwäscheservice einmal pro Woche lief perfekt.Die Küche ist bis auf eine Spülmaschine voll ausgestattet. Alles ist sauber und funktioniert.Die Lage der Wohnung ist ruhig. Der Kontakt und die Übergabe der Wohnung durch Jo war professionell und super freundlich.Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Lagos.

Très bon séjour

L’appartement est très grand et nous avons apprécié les 2 salles de bain complètes. Les équipements de cuisine sont parfaits et Inclut même une laveuse/sécheuse. Le mobilier de patio par contre devrait être remplacé, 2 chaises sur 6 étaient utilisables. L’emplacement dans la marina est excellente, la piscine très grande avec chaises et parasols, service de bar et restaurant. Le quartier touristique de Lagos accessible facilement à pied. Pour la plage, compter environ 10-15 minutes à pied. La plage est accessible à partir de plusieurs passerelles en bois. La plage est très profonde et s’étend sur plusieurs km.

Fantastisk dejligt sted

Min mand og vores to teenagebørn boede en uge i denne skønne lejlighed, som vi klart kan anbefale. Den havde alt det vi skulle bruge - aircondition til at køle os ned i varmen, vaskemaskine, et fuldt udstyreret køkken. Det ligger med en dejlig udsigt og det var nemt at handle på den modsatte side af vejen og hvis man ville spise ude var der et utal af restauranter, som vi også besøgte nogle af. Stedet rent og pænt over det hele.

A short February break

Absolutely lovely apartment with a the facility's we could have asked for. A short walk from the supermarket and the marina in the other direction. Plenty of parking space. Was met by the host Julie at the agreed time and place who showed us around the apartment then left us to enjoy ourselves. Hopefully we will be back later in the year.

Tolle große Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage

Die Wohnung ist schön groß und hat eine tolle Aufteilung. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Lage ist ruhig und schön. Alles zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Der Pingo Doce ist quasi vor der Haustür. Der Kontakt war wegen Corona natürlich kurz aber trotzdem sehr nett. Wir haben schon oft Wohnungen in Lagos gemietet und oft Probleme mit dem Parken gehabt das ist dort auch super durch die Tiefgarage unter dem Haus geregelt. Also alles TOP.

LAGOS MARINA APARTMENT

1. Expensive for what it is. We've had better Lagos apartments and villas at less cost per week. 2. Nice, large apartment. Plenty room. Good hot water supply. Living/dining room furniture quite comfortable. TV screen far too small for so large a room to the extent that on-screen type is illegible. Balcony furniture comfortable but old and rusty and needs renewal. Reasonable though restricted marina view. Laundry dryer on the balcony is a definite boon. 3. Kitchen appliances good but otherwise poorly equipped: nasty earthenware coffee mugs, other mugs badly chipped on rims, inadequate glassware and crockery - eg no teapot or teacups, shortage of storage boxes (we bought two ourselves), frying pans badly need renewal, no food tongs for cooking, 4. Bathrooms and bedrooms were fine but we'd suggest some new bed linen for the double room at least - a plastic-lined mattress cover was not appreciated nor was the ill-fitting, holed sheet. Those foam pillows are a false economy, as are the too-small pillow cases which make the pillows uncomfortably hard. Good hanging and drawer space in the bedrooms. We suggest you repair or renew the retaining catches so that the window shutters in the twin bedroom may be opened for light and air. 5. Julie, the property manager, is excellent. She is courteous, cheerful, and endlessly helpful. Her local knowledge and advice, especially on travel, dining out, entertainment and apartment systems and procedures are first rate. She is an excellent ambassador for the company and property. 6. We had no car this time but the basement garage is a winner, as is the short walking distance to marina amenities and the town centre. Proximity to the railway station, with its services to Faro and to Tunes, where mainline trains to Lisbon may be boarded, is very good. 7. Bedlinen and towels were changed at the end of week 1 but surfaces could have done with sweeping and dusting. 8. Excellent access to the large Pingo Doce supermarket where inexpensive but perfectly acceptable glassware and crockery may be bought. 9. The welcoming gift of a bottle of Portuguese white wine was much enjoyed but a more practical step would be to ensure that each bathroom has a full roll of loo paper and a small bottle of body and hair wash to tide occupants over until they can get to the supermarket. It would be inexpensive but really good customer relations. 10. Would we return here? Yes, if these small issues are resolved.

Thank you for your review and as there are a lot of points we would like to answer accordingly. 1.The apartment is not expensive and is in line with all other apartments around the marina. 2.Glad you liked the apartment and the balcony furniture is already down for replacement before the 2020 season starts. The marina view is as per the photo on our advert. The TV is an average size TV for a 2 bedroom apartment and we have never had any complaints. 3.Regarding kitchen appliances your comments amaze me as again we have had no complaints whatsoever. We always do an inventory check at the start of every year. You were two people staying yet we have had families and the guests in before your stay was 2 couples who liked to eat in a lot. Please have a look at their review to see how magnificent this apartment was. 4. Mattress covers are standard and we apologise if you had a holed sheet. Again never had any complaints about the pillows. Regarding the window catches they were replaced this season and you were shown how to work them. The apartment was checked on the same day as your visit and they worked fine. 5. Thank you for your lovely comments. 7. We do not do a full clean mid term it is just to freshen up the apartment, clean the bathrooms and change the bedding and towels. This way we do not impact on guests. 8. No comment - too sarcastic 9.Thank you for your suggestions and glad you enjoyed the wine on us. All properties are provided with a full roll of toilet paper on arrival and again was checked prior to your arrival. We do offer welcome packs should guests wish to purchase one. This is a self catering apartment, not a hotel ! The supermarkets are open till 9pm so most people get to go there just as you could of done arriving at 5.30pm. 10.You have said that you would return here if these small issues are resolved but we honestly feel that you have made them out to be big issues by the length and context of the review. We know by all other reviews and visiting guests that the majority of your complaints are not founded. I hope people reading this review will take more notice of Nick C´s review who were the 2 couples in just prior to you staying as it is one of the best reviews of all of the 30 properties we look after and is much more in line with this property. Finally I find it amazing that you can add all these issues to us from behind a keyboard and not once ask me to fix any of these so called issues whilst you were here. Kind Regards Julie
