Come stay in our mountain getaway in quiet and charming Holderness NH. Large, well-maintained home on 4.5 acres with 3 bedrooms and extra futon. Huge (1100 s.f.) wrap-around deck for enjoying the outdoors. Finished basement with pool table, foosball and ping pong. Three-season sun room in the rear with 4 sliders and screens.

Easy access from Route 93. Loon, Waterville Valley and other White Mountain attractions are less than 30 minutes away. The town of Plymouth, home to Plymouth State University, has many bars and restaurants within a quick 10 minute ride.

3 bed, 2 bath. Sleeps up to 4 adults and 4 kids standard rate. 10 person max with additional fee.

This house is gorgeous and was exactly what we needed and more. Very comfortable, spacious and has great amenities. It's also very well located in a very secluded and quiet area, yet with easy driving to the lakes (we went to Weirs Beach), climbing (Rumney) and hiking (e.g. Franconia Notch). Paul was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Awesome location

Wonderful place to stay with family or friends! Located on a quiet dead end, the house offers all the necessary amenities. Communication with the owner was smooth — he was attentive and available. Overall, a great experience!

Wonderful NH Getaway

We loved our time at Paul and Diane’s home! Hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The house is just as pictured if not better. Very clean and tidy. Plenty of indoor activities for rainy days and close access to Plymouth/Holderness and lake activities. Great for kids and adults. Kitchen is well outfitted. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and well kept and the house is secluded and quiet. We would happily stay here again!

Weekend getaway

The house was beautiful, perfect for 7 adults with room to spare! We enjoyed the space as well as the huge deck and played some pool in the basement also. We all enjoyed and said we’d love to book it again!

Excellent stay in Holderness

My family stayed at Paul's house for a weekend of Nordic ski races at Holderness. The proximity to Holderness School (10 minutes) was fantastic. The house was as advertised, and a perfect fit - no complaints! Great living room for hanging out, and a well-equipped kitchen. Would stay there again!

Great Location

This was my second time staying at this property. My friends and I enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and the owners are very communicative. Centrally located and private. I have only stayed here in the winter months but assume it is equally great, if not better during the warmer months.

Motorcycle base vacation house

We were very impressed with the property. It was clean and the ownership was very responsive to any of our needs. It was very nice with the amenities of an outside glassed in dining area, a full kitchen, a wonderful deck on the outside of the building and plenty of parking. We would enjoy staying there in the future.

Great weekend stay

This house up on the hill with a wrap around porch was amazing. We had three families staying for Parents Weekend at PSU. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Plenty or room for all of us. The pool table in the basement was a hit. We spent most our time down there. The owners were great, answered all our questions. We will be going back next year. Great house, great landlord.

Beautiful house. Very clean. Great layout. Great amenities. I haven't played that much pool in a while. The location was perfect for us. Easy access to Squam and downtown Plymouth. Make sure you stop at Owens farm stand. Paul was very helpful and made himself available if needed. Would most defintely recommend this house if you are looking to stay in the area.

Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed our seven day stay in June at the Holderness house. The kitchen was perfect with all the cookware, plates, blender, crockpot, outdoor grill, and coffee maker. The bedroom arrangement was great, granting access to bathrooms by everyone. Games in the living room were suited for all ages; billiard table in the basement was enjoyed by all. The screened in porch was our favorite gathering spot. The fireplace and stoves, though not used, looked ideal for a cold January stay. We definitely would stay again.

A Great Place for our family to be together for our son's graduation from Plymouth State University

This lovely home in Holderness was the perfect place for our family to be together for our son's Plymouth State Graduation weekend. It was so convenient (and easy to access via backroads to avoid traffic) to downtown Plymouth and had all the needed items - cooking supplies, bedding, and a game room, etc. to spend some time relaxing together. It was a warm, sunny Spring day and the deck and screen porch were lovely additions. Paul and his son were easy to reach and check-in/check-out were very smooth. We may try to rent it again during ski season. Thank you again, Gomezes!

Just couldn't get comfortable...

We just didn't feel comfortable in this house. It felt like we were invading someone's home. There were children's art projects on the mantle and refrigerator. The freezer had an open container of ice cream, otter pops, and a large box of hamburgers left in it. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was VERY firm and uncomfortable. The downstairs bedroom didn't have any nightstands. The downstairs bathroom didn't have any shelving to put our personal items on. The upstairs bathroom shower was very dark. And we were VERY disappointed that the fireplace in the sunroom didn't work. The grounds are nicely landscaped and it would have been nice to sit in the sunroom during breakfast. I did enjoy walking around the yard every morning.

Thank you for the detailed review and the 4/5 stars. Renters do occasionally leave things in the freezer, and we've talked to the cleaning crew about this. We'll also look into your other suggestions. The gas fireplace in the sunroom is currently inoperable and not mentioned in the listing but we are trying to get it serviced.

Beautiful home and property

We had a wonderful stay! It was the perfect fall weekend. The home was spacious and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals in. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely come stay again!

Holderness Hide Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. The location is tucked away and provides great fun and relaxation for all. The property was neat and clean. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dining ware, cooking utensils, and the house option to grill or cook. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The living area had plenty of space with a large selection of board games and a pool table, table tennis, and fuzz ball game. We wished we could have spent more time on the property. Our Daughter's Wedding Weekend

Our daughter's wedding was on 8/27/22 at The Barn on The Pemi. We came up on 8/25/22 and stayed until 9/2/22. Paul was great to work with. The morning of the wedding, the bridesmaids came to the house to get ready. The house was so comfortable because of the amount of space between the living room, dining room and 4 season room off the kitchen. The makeup artist and hairdresser had their own spots to work in. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get ready. The weather was gorgeous. The girls were able to relax on the wrap around deck as they were waiting their turn to get ready. On 8/28/22, we had a bridal luncheon for the wedding party and our siblings. That also worked out so fantastically. It was a gorgeous day. Between the inside and outside wrap around deck, everyone really enjoyed themselves. My husband and I can't thank Paul enough for allowing us to use his beautiful home for the wedding. It made everything go so smoothly. A million thank yous Paul. My husband and I got to enjoy the house by ourselves from Sunday afternoon, after everyone left the bridal luncheon, through Friday. We had a pass to Holderness Town Beach which was about 5 minutes away from the house. It is a gorgeous relaxing place and it's a little bit of Heaven on Earth. Squam Lake and the surrounding area is one of our favorite places. If you have never been, we highly recommend it. If you're looking for a wonderful house to stay in, Paul's is the house. Beautiful cabin, inspiring location!

This property was even better than described! The house was clean, spacious, and has everything you need and more. The lot is beautiful, serene, and very private. We really enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fireplace on cool evenings. The owners were very responsive, the house was very clean. I come to the area every two years around this time, and I will be watching for the calendar to open up for 2024 so I can book again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
