Casa com Vista Para o mar

My home is located just 1/2 mile from the beach and the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. Relax on the deck with ocean views and watch the whales and amazing sunsets while enjoying a glass of wine. A second deck located downstairs features a hot tub, fire pit and grill.

Locally find sailing, kayaking, horseback riding, as well as, many hiking trails. Located just a few miles from the sight of the Mavericks Surfing Contest. Half Moon Bay is 7 miles to the south and San Francisco is about a 20 minute drive.

The home is fully equipped for your comfort with dishwasher, washer and dryer, fireplace and 60 inch TV with cable and free WIFI. The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently remodeled with granite counter tops and wood floors.

Master bedroom has a king size bed and full bath, 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and 3rd bedroom has built in twin size bunk beds. A second full bath is off the hallway and shared with bedroom 2 and 3.

Off street parking will accommodate 2 cars in a dedicated driveway for the vacation rental.

I live in an apartment above the house. It has a separate entrance with no access from within the main house.

For security purposes, Ring cameras are monitoring the front door, side gate and garage door. There are no devices inside of the home.

To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your stay with us, we will provide an initial supply of toilet paper, facial tissue, and paper towels, but these may not be enough for your entire stay and you may need to purchase additional supplies.

Family Xmas rendezvous

Clean and well kept. Comfy beds. For our needs, a great way to have both common space as well as separate space. Was cold and rainy weekend…so good furnace and hot tub were appreciated.

Lovely home near the beaches

We loved this property! It was nicer than the pictures showed. The living room had lots of comfy couches and the wifi was great. If you have an adult on the bunk bed, our lady found the bottom bunk a bit soft but that's a personal thing. Loved the back yard and hot tub - very nicely done up out there!

Amazing views

Cute beach style house, unfortunately it was raining our main day there so we couldn’t check out too much of the beach and woods area but it cleared up enough for us to checkout the tide pools which were spectacular. Master bed was a little uncomfortable but no bed is as comfy as home. Owners gave great instructions and the hot tub was warm so didn’t have to wait to heat it up. Perfect house for a family getaway or just friends to hang like us!

Good, convenient, and comfortable stay.

We had a lovely weekend at this property. It was conveniently located with great amenities and comfortable rooms. However, one aspect that had a marginal impact on our stay was the presence of the owners (or possibly other tenants) staying in a separate area upstairs, which we were not expecting. This might be fully disclosed in the listing and we simply missed it. While the upstairs occupants were completely respectful and minded their own business, we could still hear them through their windows, which made us a bit self-conscious about using the outdoor amenities. As a result, we ended up spending more time indoors than we had planned. Despite this, the place itself is fantastic, and we would highly recommend it.

Kathy and Jennifer were very responsive to all my communications and solved any issues that came up. The living spaces and outdoor space were comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was easy to use and very peaceful. There is good food nearby as well as an abundance natural beauty. It’s an easy drive to San Francisco the airport and the beautiful coastal communities.

amazing stay and location

We spent almost a week with family visiting from abroad. We had a great time. We enjoyed the kitchen space a lot as it was greatly equipped with all the tools to prepare a full Christmas menu. The sofa and the armchairs were so so confortable. The hot tub and the view were a real treat. The house was clean, however cleaning can be improved in spaces like kitchen cabinets, under the beds or in the corners harder to reach. Overall a great experience. Definitely recommended.

Peaceful Getaway

Our family of 5 was very comfortable at this property. Check in/out was easy. Property looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The neighborhood is very peaceful, great for a relaxing vacation. Best part are the amazing views of the ocean and a quick drive to the beach. Thank you!!

Lovely home

We had a great time. The house is lovely and well maintained. Everything was as described and in working condition. The kitchen was well equipped and the entire house was clean. I would recommend this stay.

Nice quiet place in Moss Beach

Excellent house in a quite neighborhood. The property was very clean and exactly as described on the website. The beach is about a 20 min walk but there are other options 5 to 10 min drive away in Halfmoon Bay.

Amazing!

This house is amazing! Between the two outdoor sitting areas, the fire pit, the hot tub, and how comfortable the inside is, you never have to leave the house. But if you choose to, there’s a lot of fun activities within a short distance.

Fantastic stay, great views, lovely house and a superb host

This stay was a quasi-"stay-cation" while our (wife and self) home was undergoing a remodel. It could not have been a better arrangement. The spacious house (three bedrooms) is easily accessible from BART and San Francisco (<10 miles to BART), has great views, has interesting places (state park, restaurants, a small store) within walking distance, and is a quiet and comfortable place. The patio, fire pit, etc. are great extras. There is a dedicated driveway for parking, and a small deck atop the house from which to view the ocean and whatever birds might be around or residence. The host, Kathy, is responsive, helpful and an all-around wonderful woman. For those not from the Bay Area, there is ample shopping in Pacifica and Half Moon Bay, a wide variety of restaurants in the area, and a stellar number of county parks and preserves to wander. Suffice it to say that we and several guests wandered a redwood preserve and saw whales and flights of pelicans at a state beach, all within three hours. Sad to say, the tine there was all too short, but it is a great memory. We were spoiled. We cannot recommend the property and owner highly enough.

Comfy, charming, and relaxing!

My fiancée's mother hosted an engagement party for us at the Moss Beach Distillery last weekend. I'm from LA, so I flew my family up for the party. I wanted a nice place in Moss Beach, close to the restaurant, and somewhere my family could spend some quality time together. Kathy's house was absolutely PERFECT!! The house is very clean, comfortable, and has darn near everything you could need! We LOVED the fire pit and the jacuzzi outside and appreciated a well-outfitted kitchen to cook in. The living room sofa sinks in a little due to there being a pull-out bed, but other than that everything worked well for us. We had an awesome time and would love to stay here the next time we're in Moss Beach. Thanks again Kathy!

Comfortable Family House

This home in Moss Beach worked very well for a family vacation. All the necessities were provided, the view is lovely and it was easy for young children to play safely (also a great children's park just down the hill). Our only complaint is the couch is very uncomfortable leaving just two chairs for the adults (we were four). Enjoyed this home and would return.

Very cozy quiet place to stay

We enjoyed your little Shangri-La in Half Moon Bay. The hot tub and firepit were a big hit with my grandsons. We could see that on a sunny day your views would be amazing. We would definately return. Great spot!

After finishing school, I moved to Oklahoma where I raised two beautiful daughters, worked as a RN and had a great life. 43 years later, I decided to move back to my home state. My daughter introduced me to Moss Beach, and I immediately fell in love! I enjoy traveling and staying in vacation rental houses around the world. I feel very fortunate to be able to open up my home for others to experience the coastal area.

I fell in love at first sight with Moss Beach and the coastside. I bought the house and never looked at another. The ocean views and deck had me sold from the get go, and I love it just as much now as I did on the first day I saw it.
