We are sorry that the guests’ experience did not meet their expectations. However, we feel it is important that future guests have a balanced picture of the situation rather than relying solely on the extremely negative wording and rating of this review. The photographs included in the review show specific details or isolated areas and, in our opinion, do not represent the overall condition, appearance, or general state of the villa. Likewise, the statement that the photographs on the listing do not represent the property is a subjective interpretation that does not, in our view, provide a fair representation of the villa as a whole. When the guests raised their concerns, the property management and ownership did make efforts to respond and address the issues reported. Unfortunately, the guests decided to leave the property only a few hours after their arrival, allowing very limited time for the reported concerns to be properly assessed and, where possible, addressed. It is therefore not accurate to suggest that the complaints were simply dismissed or that the host and owner “did nothing.” The concerns were taken seriously and efforts were made to respond to the situation, despite the guests having already decided to leave shortly after arrival. We also understand that a very low rating can sometimes reflect the level of frustration or disappointment felt by a guest at a particular moment. However, a 2/10 rating following a stay of only a few hours should be considered in that context and does not necessarily provide a complete or representative picture of the property or of the experience of guests who stay for the full duration of their reservation. We fully respect every guest’s right to share their opinion. At the same time, we believe it is important to distinguish between personal perceptions, isolated details, and objectively verifiable facts, particularly when very serious statements are made about a property based on such a short experience. We would like to point out that we have arranged and restored the villa to make it more comfortable and safe. We remain committed to maintaining the villa and to providing our guests with a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable stay.
