Hello and welcome to 441 Captain’s Walk!

That last few years have brought about so many changes to our condo...with a major kitchen renovation that really elevated the classic Captain's Walk one butt kitchen layout into a much more modern layout that better accommodates how families live today! So much cabinet real estate...we have space to comfortably accommodate all of the provided kitchen amenities...and still have empty space for your own supplies!

Now that we have completed that process, it is more about maintenance and "freshening" to ensure we minimize wear and tear and keep things top notch! It is so important to us that we keep our upgrades constant. We are always looking for ways to improve our beach home and to help make your time with us the best family vacation ever! You won’t find any “cheap” rental décor or amenities here!

One important way we set ourselves apart from the rest are the amenities we provide. By amenities, I mean the “additions that are in excess of the basic needs of an individual.” I hate “making do” because I am on vacation. If I am on vacation…I want things to be easier…not harder. You will be supplied an "amenities list" that will tell you what to expect. We pride ourselves on the little things...like an avocado saver and a guac lock. We have grilling tools so if you want to grill seafood or veggies, your are able to do that! Everything you need to make the perfect cocktail...we love our espresso martinis and margaritas...so naturally we have to have an espresso machine and a margarita maker!

Speaking of coffee...coffee preferences are very personal. While I love just my basic morning coffee…being able to make a specialized coffee drink…enjoying it on the balcony, watching and listening to the waves…there is no better way to start your day and bad coffee can ruin the experience. We can't have that so we have a traditional coffee pot, a Keurig, a Nespresso machine, cold brew pitcher, new coffee bean grinder, frother, and a French Press. We even have a recipe book to help guide you in making your favorite coffee drink.

But we shouldn’t focus on only coffee drinks…we need to consider cocktails too! I love a mimosa in the morning. I love making juice ice cubes, adding that to a fun cocktail glass with prosecco or champaign! So, we have some fun ice cube molds available. It helps to prevent the heat from ruining a fun drink with watery ice cubes! Kids love them too! (Pro tip…make coffee ice cubes for cold coffee drinks). With a brand-new blender, cocktail shaker set, and a variety of cocktail glasses and pitchers…you will have the best Happy Hour on the island! Did I mention the Yeti tumblers? Not a cheap knock off…the real ones that will keep your cocktail fresh all day…whether you are on the balcony, at the pool, or down on the beach! We even provide silicone straws because we care about our sea turtles!

Beyond the beverages, we’ve added an assortment of charcuterie boards, chip/dip set, veggie trays…the list goes on.

Less fun, but maybe more important, we have replaced the mattresses, so every bed has a comfortable new mattress! The bedding is also rotated frequently and replaced before it gets worn out!

You will find high end finishes throughout...just like we use in our own home. I actually changed my home faucet to match the one we have here because it was better! You see that in our appliances. Up to date and quality brands. Nobody wants to deal with old appliances or service appointments while on vacation...so keeping things up to date is important! We want you to feel like you are getting the best when you stay with us.

441 Captains Walk is a 1760 sq ft, 3BR premier oceanfront property, located on the third floor. This complex is the closest oceanfront property found on Hilton Head Island. 441 Captains Walk is an end unit on the third floor, in the middle building. Catch the elevator down, take a short turn, and walk straight to the beach gate!!! Finding a villa with a better location and high-end comfort and appeal is difficult. 100+ 5-star reviews can’t be wrong!

Regarding the Captain’s Walk complex, it is best known for its close beach proximity and low-density population. Captain’s Walk has three parallel oceanfront buildings with no setbacks. ALL VILLAS ARE OCEANFRONT!!! Lush palmetto trees shade the parking lot. A security officer is present during the summer season to insure adequate parking and insurance of guest privileges.

Bed arrangements consist of KING in the Primary Bedroom, a QUEEN and TWIN in the center Nautical Bedroom, and a FULL and TWIN in the back Surf Room. Smart TVs allow for streaming shows at the end of the day. Each bedroom has a private bath.

While we do sleep eight, we limit it to 6 adults + children. The number of children allowed will depend on age. The extra beds are just to allow you all to spread out comfortably , not to fill them to capacity.

The living room has a Lazy Boy sectional with cooling gel cushions, as well as a 50in Smart TV. Board games, cards, puzzles, and a selection of books are provided. These are updated annually. Our hope is to provide many opportunities for "face" time with your family!

The balcony provides excellent accommodations to enjoy the ocean view. A bar level “Captain's Table” allows unobstructed views while having your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. Two additional lounge chairs make the balcony a great place to enjoy the sun or catch evening views of beach walkers.

Beach chairs and children's beach toys start the season, though these increase and decrease as beach supplies are forgotten and/or added by individual guests.

There are over-sized beach towels (6) provided! Luggage real estate is very valuable, so who wants to use a whole suitcase for towels!

Also...for your peace of mind...I'd like to reiterate that we take cleaning VERY seriously...ALWAYS!!! We have the BEST cleaning company on the island. Mary at Reflections does not suffer fools! She demands the best from her staff and I have 100% confidence that our property is being cleaned and disinfected VERY thoroughly between each guest. The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is next door. Walk less than five minutes to grab a morning paper or a delicious breakfast buffet. They have a coffee shop (not that you need one) and boutique on site, as well as the HH Prime Steak and Seafood Restaurant and the Ocean Tides Spa!

The condo is stocked with a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, dish soap and Keurig K-cups to get you started that first morning! Laundry soap and dish-washing detergent are supplied for your convenience.

Free, password protected Wi-Fi!

Guests can also use the free Dunes Buggy shuttle service that runs throughout Palmetto Dunes and over to Shelter Cove.

Although we, the owners, hail from Michigan...we have on-island management through Reflections Services. Should you find you have any issues requiring immediate attention, the management service is available to assist you.

Knowing that you have nothing to fear about your accommodations, you can focus on your family vacation! Collecting shells on the beach, jet skiing in the Sound, long bike rides, evening board games…just enjoying that quality family time, screen-free, outside, ocean breezes and plenty of sunshine! Like yours, our children are growing up quickly and we know that the time we have together is precious! There is nothing like spending time together on the ocean…getting away from the hustle and bustle and the never-ending deadlines. 441 Captains Walk is our home away from home and we hope it will be yours too!
