Family Friendly Lake Front Home with Amazing Views

Beautiful family friendly home with an easy walk down to the lake! The main floor has a wonderful open floor plan with a large kitchen, living room and dining room. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath attached. The 2nd bedroom also has a king bed, and the 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds for a total of 4 twin beds. The living room opens up to a huge sunroom with a queen bed, and the sunroom opens up to a large deck with a gas grill and breathtaking views of the lake!
Head down stairs to the partially finished basement and find a ping pong table and 2 more bedrooms with full size beds and a bathroom.
Exit the home onto the large grassy backyard perfect for lawn games, then head through the fence to the lake!
We have gently sloping lake access, perfect for young kids or dogs to play in the shallow water. Or you can cannonball off the end of the dock into 20 ft water. There is space available on the shore of the lake to build your own fire and roast marshmallows and connect with nature. We have a 2 slip boat dock, one of which houses our boat, the second is perfect for yours.
We have a variety of baby items available for you to use, if needed.
We are located in Martin, Ga. 45 minutes from Clemson by boat, 55 minutes by car.

Absolutely loved our stay ! The home is beautiful and plenty big enough for our big family. There was nothing about the home we didnā€™t love. It is an older home , but we loved it anyway. The children loved sitting on the dock fishing, even though they didnā€™t catch anything, it was really just the experience that made it such fun for them. Will definitely be back ! Thank you Matt for a wonderful experience.

The host was what stood out the most! Matt was so communicative, helpful, and kind! We absolutely loved staying here because of him! We even ended up forgetting a couple things and Matt helped arrange us getting the items back! The lake is another thing that really made the experience for us. It was so beautiful and was our dogsā€™s first experience in water!! It was an overall wonderful time for both us and our dogs. If you want to stay at a lake house, this is 100% the place to stay!!!

Enjoyed our stay, it was just what we were looking for. There was lots of space inside, in the basement and on the porch including the spacious sunroom with a queen size bed. No shortage of sleeping space. Plenty of parking and a nice boat dock.

We rented this home for my dadā€™s 80th birthday and it was perfect plenty of space and very open. The house had everything we needed plus more. The weekend was calling for rain which would had been fine cause there was plenty of room and sitting area for family. We just got lucky and had beautiful weather during the day and was able to hangout on the dock and swim. We definitely will be going back soon

At first glance the property is great, but as I explored the house I found the cleanliness and upkeep a little lacking. There is mold in the ceiling in the basement, a heap of dirt behind the boat float, hair in the bathroom drawers and on the floor and tub. Some of the blankets needed to be washed before use. Bedroom with bunkbeds was too stuffy, could not turn on the ceiling fan. Bar stool seats are not secured to the frame, the vent register in the kitchen is not secured, there is a hole in the wall behind the front door and a broken siding outside under the porch.

Get-away Thanksgiving

My family loved the convenience of meeting in a central location for our Thanksgiving festivities. A beautiful setting with tons of space, enormous kitchen and loads of beds.

Great Lake House

Beautiful house with great view of and access to the lake. The kids (and adults) loved the kayaks and floats. Basement was a tad musty, which the little kids didnā€™t love, but the teenagers were fine with it.

Had a great time

We had a wonderful time at your home. The view is outstanding. The boat dock was great. We rented a pontoon boat and loved that we were able to keep it at the house. The owners are wonderful had a small problem when we first got there and they took care of it immediately. Thank you for that. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. Loved the big island. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Lake Hartwell vacation

Was not happy with the cleanliness of the downstairs. Swept the whole downstairs when I got there. The was black mold in the downstairs bedroom and one whole wall in the storage room had black mold in it. Treated the bedroom wall with bleach. Other than that it was great. Nice fenced yard for the dogs, a nice dock, ping pong table and water stuff. We had a good time but the mold worried me.

The best getaway !

This is a wonderful property to stay at ! Beautiful location , so spacious and plenty of room and seats so the whole family can eat together , watch tv together and enjoy sitting on the porch together ! Lots of funny things available there to e joy such as a ping pong table , kayaks and games . The host was wonderful and easy to reach if needed and always responded quickly . We will definetly be back !

It was breathtaking! The is very nice, open home with lots of space. Our last daughter was graduating from Emmanuel College. The lake is beautiful in the day time and at night. We will be back!!

Big lake house

This is an amazing property. The yard is almost a full acre and fenced all the way around, so you don't have to worry about your dogs. The house is large - so large we didn't even use the 2 bedrooms and bathroom in the basement. Large kitchen and open living area. Sunroom all across the back of the house - with a bed in it. Plus a deck outside of it. Nice lake access. Weather wasn't conducive to use enjoying the dock or water too much, and the lake is very high due to all the rain lately that part of the gangway was under water. Will definitely stay here again when the weather is warmer!

Nothing like lake life.

No complaints at all. It was so nice to have a completely fenced in yard, open the door and let my dog run and play. Plenty of room on the inside for my family to spread out and relax without being on top of one another. Will definitely go back!

Family vacation

The place was plenty big enough for a family of 12. There was separation for sleeping and enough room for all of us to hang out. Some of the electrical outlets did not work and there was mildew in the downstairs shower and refrigerator.

Beautiful property on the water

Bathrooms were mostly clean, bed linens were clean and all the appliances worked great. The host was responsive when we had communication issues and it was wonderful to be able to use the boat slip. There was also many essentials supplied like detergent, hand soap, laundry soap, paper towels and zip locks. As others have said - the home is mostly outdated and needs to be deep cleaned and painted - while it is a house in the woods and you expect to see a few uninvited guests or things a bit run down - I believe it could have been better. It was more like a cabin rental than anything else, but we certainly enjoyed the water, view and the water toys supplied by the homeowner. Understandably, it is hard to maintain a home of this size and we were blessed to be able to stay there.

Lake Hartwell

Beautiful property. Some minor things needed attention but nothing to interfere with our stay. We had a toddler and there were no baby gates to block stairs but we put chairs to block and rubber bands on cabinet doors. He loved the space. I don't know how many laps he did around the den through the kitchen. Nice quiet area. Easy trip into to Lavonia, Clemson and Toccoa.
