Refreshed Property!! Deep Water, Quiet Cove, 30 minutes from Clemson

Welcome to the newly refreshed Shady Willow Lake House!! New hard floors throughout, fresh bright paint job, new furniture!! Even new kayaks!! Still great family vacation spot!!

This lake house sleeps 10 easily with its 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Large living room with monopoly table and games are perfect for playing family games. Eat al fresco with on the top deck with large table that seats 8 and a gas/charcoal combo grill. Enjoy the lower screened in porch with a bar and seating area. The entire family will be swimming in our quiet cove and jumping off the large dock (plenty of space for sun bathing). Or watch the sunrise over the trees from the dock swing while enjoying your morning coffee. Perfect place to stay for Clemson football weekends less than 40 min away and taking back roads with less traffic.
Bring your boat, jet skis, etc. The Choestoea Boat ramp is less than a mile away and there is plenty of water craft parking

We provide almost everything you need for your stay; linens, towels, dishes, 12 cup drip and a Kuerig coffee maker

Bedroom 3: Full, Bunk with twin up top and full bed below. (down stairs)

8 Days at the lake house

Accurate listed description , deep water at dock made for good early morning jumps into lake . All enjoyed a great time at the lake and at the house. Nearby Pontoon boat rentals added to the fun .

Perfect for family getaway and Clemson graduation

Had a wonderful time enjoying the lake and nearby sights. Convenient to Clemson and seeing our son graduate. Hosts are very quick to respond and accommodating. Recommend highly.

Stayed three nights. House and property just as described. Spacious home on a heavily wooded hillside overlooking the lake.Had most everything we needed. Would stay there again.

Nice relaxing week on quiet cove

Really nice place, quiet cove and everything we needed. Loved it! Owners were great. We look foreard to going back soon. Be aware of steep climb up and down to dock - great exercise, but anyone with mobility issues would have challenges.

Lake vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We rented a pontoon boat from harbor light marina which was a 20 min boat ride from the house. The dock was a great place to have morning coffee and watch the sun rise. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing as well. Thank you for sharing your place!

Graduation weekend

What an awesome home! It was right on the lake and about 40 minutes to get to Clemson. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. The layout was fantastic. We could all hang out together on the main level and then escape to the bedrooms on the other levels. We had the best time!!

Summer Vacation

We loved our stay, house was clean, very spacious, had everything we needed! There was plenty of room for us all plus some. We especially appreciated the children’s toys! Our Granddaughter loved these! We spent one very long night as a family at the awesome Monopoly Table and lots of swimming and fishing! Our Hosts were very easy to communicate, everything just as described. We look forward to booking again! Thank you!

Good Bones

We spent 4 days at Shady Willow. Communication and the check-in process was a breeze. The location was beautiful and the lake and dock were a hit! Unfortunately, the outside of the property was filled with cobwebs and spiders. It seemed that the grounds had not been maintained. Inside, the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and the kitchen was equipped to cook. However, the home seemed to be missing important details. Some examples include wall paint on the cabinets in the kitchen. Pots and pans were unorganized and there was no cabinet liner in most of the cabinets. The downstairs porch had rips in the screen.These items did not prevent us from having a good time. It was just not as nice as we thought it was going to be. The property manager did ask for ways to improve the home. I did email him with some of our concerns.

Just ok

The location was good, house was fine, nice having extra stuff like shampoo, sun screen etc. Some issues though that were annoying. As soon as we got there, we had to unload a full dishwasher and dryer of towels. We didn’t mind, but annoying. By far the worst thing about this house were the toilets. We are not huge people with huge waste, but every single toilet flush required plunging. We messaged the owner for an additional plunger but never heard back and we had to buy one for the other toilets.

4th of July fun!

The house was perfect for our needs. We had 5 teens, a pre-teen 2 adults and one dog. We loved relaxing in the morning on the deck in the reclining chairs. The dock was very accessible for our boat. We loved the use of the noodles that were available. A huge plus was the hose to rinse off several of our toys! The owners were very accessible via text and promptly responded to the couple of questions I had such as asking if we could park our boat trailer on the street because there was no way I could back it down the driveway safely (I can parallel park my 30' trailer). There was a huge fireworks display in the main channel that we would definitely like to see next year. I think, out of the owners control, is how steep the slope is to the dock, but it should be mentioned. Not undoable, but don't forget something in the house. The BBQ was awesome and will be headed to buy one for ourselves. Overall a great house that I would recommend to everyone and return for future visits. You won't be dissapointed.

First and foremost, the location of the lakehouse was breathtaking. Nestled amidst nature's beauty, the views were simply awe-inspiring. We were greeted with panoramic vistas that showcased the shimmering waters of the lake and offered us a front-row seat to witness stunning sunsets each evening. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the area around the dock. The deep waters were ideal for swimming, and we spent countless hours splashing around, enjoying the refreshing embrace of the lake. The ample supply of noodles and blowups provided by the owners, along with the ones we brought along, ensured that our water adventures were filled with endless fun and laughter. The lakehouse itself was a haven of comfort and convenience. The well-equipped kitchen surpassed all our expectations. It boasted a wide array of appliances, cookware, and utensils, allowing us to prepare delicious meals with ease. It felt like stepping into our own personal Lakehouse, designed specifically for us. Furthermore, the owners of Shady Willow were a joy to communicate with. Their prompt and friendly responses to our queries demonstrated their dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay for their guests.

Clemson Senior Day Getaway

We had a great weekend celebrating our son's senior day with Clemson Football. We cooked out and cooked in-the space was a perfect place to gather. Beds were comfy! The place was clean and the hosts were so nice! Great spot!

This is where our families get together to unwind, have a good time and enjoy the 'Lake Life'. There is nothing better then drinking your morning coffee from the swing on the dock. Either swimming off the dock or kayaking or boating, this is a great place to enjoy Lake Hartwell. Boat rentals are close by. Clemson is around 30 minutes away. This home is perfect all year round with the milder climate and plenty of great Parks and hiking trails within a 30 minute drive.
