Do you enjoy swimming and watersports, culture and cuisine?This house offers the best environment for watersports, cultural activities, visiting beautiful towns, market and dining. This is the fantastic place for you and your kids to have the best holiday! In summer you can enjoy an astonishing roof terrace with lounge set, a GAS BBQ and pic-nic table gives you a beautiful view on the lake. Candle lights, garden furniture and sun beds, Pure Relaxation!!. The garden gives direct access to the lake 'het Veersemeer'.
What does this holiday home offer you:
3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms completely modernised with big luxurious living room, with wood stove, 2 gourmet dishes and a cheese fondue set, a regular coffee machine, unlimited free WIFI, garden, outside shower, rowing boat (2) for kids available (from May to September), Also we have 2 kayaks and a SUB available for you as well, 5 bikes (2 adult, 3 kids age 7 to 13) and beach stuff all included. DVD player and many many movies, games, books for adults and children. For smaller kids we offer a baby bed and toddler chair (2). This year we have put solarpanels on our roof to become more sustainable and we will continue to contribute to sustainability. As you can read this is not a regular holiday home! This holiday home has more or less anything you would need for a sunny day and to make the rainy day just as comfortable and cosy.....
The place is perfect for children because of all the facilities the area provides, playgrounds, pool at the Campsite de Paardekreek, the lake, beach. Zeeland is known for its cleanest and prettiest beaches and its sun. Furthermore you will find beautiful towns, like Veere, Middelburg, Goes and Zierikzee are within a distance of 20 minutes for great shopping, cycling (we can provide you the maps of this Island and bikes) sailing courses, diving, water skiing, wake boarding, horse backriding on the beach, hiking. Also Antwerp, Gent and Brugge are easily visited.
Just let us know what you need and we can help you and we will make you a nice offer. We offer interesting discounts for a 7 day stay! So please explore the options.
We let our home to families up to 5 children including any babies. NO DOGS /CATS allowed and NO parties or multiple families. Pool and Sauna facilities are in the very close area Campsite the Paardekreek but there are also much bigger pools and more luxurious sauna facilities in the area of Kamperland and Goes.

Very nice location

The communication with the owner before and during the stay was very good and it was very nice that we were in general allowed to use all the household items. However, the house itself was a little bit worn out e. g. the toilet door could not be locked and we felt we needed to also fix some minor things before we could use them properly. The rooms were very nicely decorated and mainly clean. However, the household items like the raclette (which was actually an electric barbecue), wafer machine and other items needed to be cleaned before we could use them. We even found a Bialetti coffee machine in the cupboard where the coffee had not been removed and therefore grewn moldy which was not very pleasant. Also the kicker table was rather rundown. Maybe here the expectations of 4 adults was different from what a family with many kids would have been. Most irritating was that we did not have the same expectations towards what was included in the rather high cleaning fee and we only found out later that we were expected to wash and dry the bed sheets & get rid of the garbage bags. Here the written instructions were not completely clear to us, for example, we did not find the containers where we could get rid of the garbage. However, the communication on that effect was friendly and we all tried to find a solution that was working for everyone. In terms of the location, we were very happy with the place and Kortgene is a really nice town to spend some days in winter.

Unieke ligging aan het water met zeer mooie tuin

Zeer comfortable woning met een prachtige ligging aan het water. Heel goed ingericht. De netheid kan echter een stuk beter.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub.Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und unsere Fragen wurden schnell und zufriedenstellend geklärt. Es gab viele Extras, die uns kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt wurden (z.B.SUP Board mit Paddel).Vorallem der direkte Zugang zum sehr sauberen Wasser war super.

The Zeeland Experience

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche bei herrlichem Wetter. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und drei Kinder von 10 bis 13 Jahren. Das Haus war perfekt für uns! Es ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Es ist mehr als KOMPLETT ausgestattet. Tischkicker, Fahrräder, Ruderboot, SUP-Board und 2 Kajaks - was will man mehr! Oh ja: Ein Gasgrill - auch vorhanden, genau wie Liegestühle. Und in der Küche mangelte es auch an nichts. Gasherd, Airfryer, Backofen, Spülmaschine - ich kann gar nicht alles aufzählen. Und der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin klappte auch hervorragend. Ich kann dieses Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Gemütliches Haus direkt am Wasser mit guter Ausstattung

Sehr schönes Haus, die Möbel und die Ausstattung sind leicht in die Jahre gekommen (Badezimmertür schließt nicht) und nicht alles ist supersauber, aber die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Der angekündigte Whirl Pool fehlt allerdings. Der Ort Kortgene hat alles, was man braucht und diverse Ausflugsziele sind gut erreichbar. Insgesamt haben wir uns gut erholt. Etwas eigenartig war die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern. Vielleicht haben sie schlechte Erfahrungen mit Gästen gemacht. Aber wir hatten noch nie einen derart umfassenden Mietvertrag (der auch nicht immer klar formuliert war) und weitreichende Regelungen ("Betten am Schluss abziehen und Bettwäsche in der Küche auf den Küchentisch legen..".). Wir hatten dann aber letztlich keinerlei Schwierigkeiten und haben den Urlaub in guter Erinnerung behalten.

Gemütliches Haus direkt am Wasser

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem gemütlichen Haus. Es iat toll gelegen mitten im Yachthafen von Kortgene. Von Garten hat man direkten Zugang zum Wasser. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub.

Ein Ort zum ausspannen….

Das Haus war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man hatte alles was man braucht. Auch die Lage und die Aussicht war super. Kortgene ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften, wo man alles bekommt was man braucht.

Agréable et tranquille

Endroit agréable et calme. Bien équipé de manière générale, très propre, belle grande table en bois. Salon très agréable. Grande terrasse au 1er qui communique avec le jardin via un escalier extérieur. Petit bémol, nous n'avons pas trouvé les ustensiles de cuisine (mixer, louche, rape, tire-bouchon, spatules en bois...), mais à part cela, notre séjour fut très agréable.

Sehr schönes Haus toller privater Steg nette Vermieterin

Das Haus ist sehr großzügig toller Garten viele Sitzmöglichkeiten wunderschöne Dachterrasse sehr ruhig gelegen toller Blick auf den Yachthafen! Der Private Steg direkt am Haus die Kanu's und das Standup Paddel waren ein Highlight. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr großzügig ausgestattet es fehlt an nichts. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett antwortet und hilft sehr schnell. Schnell in Domburg Kamperland Renesse und viele andere schöne Orte. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

Direkt am Wasser gelegen, alles dabei was man braucht. Im Ort gibt es eine Bäckerei und einen Supermarkt.

Very comfortable base to visit Zeeland.

The house has all the amenities you need for a family visit to Zealand irrespective of the season. Well located at waters edge and in a quiet development. 20mins from Delta Works and Zealand’s magnificent beaches.

Fantastisch vakantiehuis!

Sfeervol ingericht vakantiehuis op unieke locatie aan de haven van Kortgene. Fraai uitzicht vanaf het dakterras, gemeenschappelijke aanlegsteiger direct bij de tuin. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie omgeving en gezellige haven. Aanrader voor watersporters!

On the Water

Very nice vacation home. Well equiped. Nice host, easy communication. Has a deck to sit on or launch the kayak from. Neat roof terrace. Small town of Kortgene is an easy walk with great a grocery store and several restaurants.

Awesome home in Zeeland

We enjoyed the stay, the fireplace, the garden, the access to water and the environment a lot. Vrouwenpolder is close by and the marina is great to hang out.

We are a family of 7. We bought our holidayhome in 2006 when we were expecting our twins. We felt the need for a complete furnished holidayhome with all facilities we needed.
Since we moved to the UK we would not be able to go there on the weekends and we thought is would be nice if other people could enjoy the house since our children love to stay there. The whole day they row, swim, do crab hunting, go to playrounds, bike into town and on rainy day you have lots of other things, indoor playgrounds, museum, bowling etc. to do. Even when we go back to Rotterdam where we have lived all our lives, all our children's friends ask, " Are you going to Zeeland?, Can we come too?" So we always end up with two extra tents on the plot of gras near the lake, 7 extra children and we never see them. They know where to go, they just LOVE it!

We saw boats going in and out the harbour, Riggs clinging, beautiful views. Such a relaxing impression the surroundings gave us. From the garden you have direct access to the lake 'het Veersemeer'. We saw lots of opportunities for our growing children to play freely and row on the lake and in the harbour, sail our little open boat, swim in the lake. Still after 9 years when we come back it is the best place to be.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Zeeland is known for the most hours sun and open clean air, beautiful nature and clean and pretty beaches..
The house itself has been completely modernized, luxurious furnished and enlarged a few years ago. Now it consists of a very spacious living and dining room with fireplace/wood stove and a very nice roof terrace overlooking the lake. The house is on the harbour grounds and has a playground with trampoline, aircushen, sandpit other objects that children young and older like to play on. You can rent a sailing or motor boat in the harbour. Also this area is facilitated by 2 restaurants. At the other side of the harbour (campsite 'de Paardekreek' you have a swimmingpool, playground area, a beach with a raft and aerial runway.
Sailing schools are nearby. The closest is De Viking, Wolphaartsdijk and they pick you up and drop you off at our pier. The Town Kortgene is very friendly and has some nice shops with trendy goodies and clothes and grocery shop, a butcher and a bakery.Kortgene offers great restaurants. Beaches and towns as Veere, Middelburg, Goes, Zierikzee are close by as well as the leisure park MegaMundi and The Delta Works (Neeltje Jans).
The province Zeeland is an entertaining region where tourist can join lots of events.
