Perfect Beachfront Rental with Beautiful Views!

Wonderful beach with spectacular views of Guana Cay and Ocean. You can enjoy swimming or relaxing on your back porch facing the ocean. Our 1-bedroom rental has its own private entrance and porch at the front and back. Our modern apartment is completely furnished with an apartment size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all other basic necessities. The bedroom consists of a queen bed, walk in closet with dresser, ceiling fan and air conditioner with individual temperature control. The lounge area has a flat screen television and comfortable couch that converts into a twin sized sofa-bed. It also has a ceiling fan and temperature-controlled air conditioner. The bathroom is complete with tub, shower, toilet and hand basin. There is a table with chairs for indoor dining and table and chairs on the back porch for relaxing and dining while enjoying the beach views. Chaise lounge chairs are also available for sunbathing. There is access to free unlimited Wi-Fi.

Our property is ideal for the perfect beach vacation.

The property was comfortable. Couldnt ask for easier check in and out. There was only 1 kayak which was disappointing but overall...it was an excellent stay.

Beautiful beach!

My daughter and I visited Exuma for the first time. Oswald and Betty were very accommodating and addressed the small issues we had. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the property and the beautiful view.

Beachfront paradise

Betty and Oswald are amazing hosts! This was our second time staying here, we are always going to book this place for our stays. They are the sweetest family, made us feel like we were staying with our own family. They treated us to homemade dinner one evening out on the back porch, it was so good and a great experience getting to talk with them. If you are looking for a wonderful beach and a cozy room right on it, look no further :)

This was an outstanding rental with an unmatched beach front view. It was quiet and very private all week. The hosts were warm, engaging and checked in intermittently to make sure all our needs were attended. Will definitely be returning for future visits.

Perfect getaway right on the beach!

We absolutely loved this place! It was nice and quiet, had our own beach on a beautiful bay. We saw a couple of sea turtles and lots of puppies running around. The hosts were great, jasmine made sure to check in with us and make sure we were settled. Ill definitely be looking to book here again!

This property is a hidden gem, such a cute little rental. It had everything we needed and was very clean. It is on a beautiful beach with almost no other people on it. There are several places to eat close by. The host checked on us several times while we were there to make sure everything was ok. It is about a 30 minute drive to Georgetown but we knew that when we booked and had a rental car and it was a easy drive. We will definitely stay here again if we ever come back.

First, the view from the property was absolutely amazing. The property had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. There were beach chairs, a cooler, and plenty of towels. The location was great.

Treated Like Family

We enjoyed our stay in Exuma. We were promptly greeted once we arrived, and provided with keys for entry. During our stay we were treated like family, great overall service/experience.

Beautiful place on the water with so much character.

We had such an amazing time and our hosts could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The place has everything you need, and you can fall out your back door onto the beach and what feels like your own private beach! Don’t miss having dinner at Lighthouse Cafe and ice cream. It’s right next down and feels like home cooking!

Fantastic snorkeling backyard beach

You cannot beat the backyard access to the amazing almost empty beach, literally a few steps away. The owners are really nice people and the place very quiet. Exuma people are quite welcoming in general. My only problem was being badly bitten by mosquitos and related bugs, but that had nothing to do with the property itself.

I had a lovely stay at Betty and Oswald's place in Steventon. They were unfortunately away due to medical needs, but their daughter, Jasmine, was incredibly kind and helpful. The property is just as it appears in pictures. The beach is fantastic with gorgeous views. I highly recommend staying here.

Perfect beachfront location

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this location which was just steps from the beach. We woke up every morning to the sound of the waves landing on the shore. The apartment had all the basic amenities and was very comfortable. There was a cafe next door that serve delicious meals and ice cream. The owners Betty and Oswald were pleasant and always available to answer questions. I would highly recommend this location.

Tranquility

We enjoyed our stay and the location and beach right out the front door created tremendous tranquility and allowed us to recharge our batteries. Oswald and Betty are the perfects hosts and true treasures. Warm, welcoming, and made us feel like a part of their family as soon as we met them. We can't wait to come back and stay again. We would highly recommend this property. Also the Lighthouse Cafe and Ice Cream Parlor next door had great food. Loved the Coconut Shrimp.

Paradise in 1st row

In the appartment we found everything we need. Betty and Oswald are great hosts and warm-heated people like the rest of their family. We enjoyed talking to them. The ocean was amazing, the water warm and clear and nearly noone at the beach. In the next house the family has the Lighthouse Café. We enjoyed when we had dinner there. Thank you!

My name is Oswald Nixon and James Roselyn Vacation Rentals is named in memory of my late parents James and Roselyn Nixon. I am the third son of that union. During the sixties I left Steventon Exuma and went to Nassau to work in the construction industry for many years. Later, I entered the hospitalisty industry as a taxicab driver for over 18 years. During that time I served as the President of The Bahamas Taxi-Cab Union for 12 years. I met and married my beautiful wife Betty Nixon who is currently a retired Primary School teacher. Our union was blessed with six children. After my retirement I returned to my birthplace, Steventon Exuma and later built my home and decided to rent a portion of it as a vacation rental.

Once you have been in the hospitalisty industry it is difficult to really say goodbye. Therefore, I say 'Welcome to you my guest!'.
