Ilaria was so helpful from check-in to check out! She gave us tons of wonderful recommendations and tips for our time in Florence. We had a great stay in their apartment!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well located. The host clearly cares about guests and provides a lot of information. For us, though, the communication was excessive- there were many separate messages before and during our stay, which felt overwhelming at times. A single information guide would make the experience much more relaxing.

The hosts were amazing. There were plenty of shops and restaurants near by. A friendly atmosphere and very walkable.

Fabulous location

Prefect location for a quick visit to Florence in the heart of the city. Walking distance to the train station, beautiful city to explore and extremely helpful hosts.

Wonderful

We were three adults and the Limone was just so lovely and perfect for our family. Excellent communication from the host and hostess. I would recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Perfect Comfort

My family and I had a great 4 night stay. The apartment is modern and quite spacious and not far from the centre. The host is a lovely woman who really takes great care of you. I thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Amazing place, location, and hosts!

My family and I had such a great stay here. It was a beautiful unit in a historical building. Antonio and Ilaria were amazing hosts and gave us endless advice for places to go and eat. We had an amazing dinner at a restaurant that we would not have known about without their advice. If you are looking for a place in Florence that is not too far from the prime locations, this is the place to stay! We would stay at any place owned by the hosts 😊

Great stay!

We loved our stay in Florence! Hosts were quick to respond and had lots of ideas of where to go during our visit. The beds in the master bedroom were two twins pushed together. My 3 year old loved the little bedroom with one twin and my other 2 slept in the family room on the pullout twins. They had it all set up for us when we arrived.

Florence apartment with character

This home was easy to access and close to many of the things we had planned. It was fun to be in such an old place. Hope the person below this apartment finishes their renovations as there were strong odors from below.

Fabulous firenze

Very comfortable apartment. Location worked for us as we were happy to walk around. Restaurants and supplies nearby. Hosts were very communicative and quick to respond with queries. There were three short flights of stairs to get to the apartment so if not strong or agile it might be a bit much to get your luggage up and down. Thanks for having us Antonio and Ilaria.

Wonderful week in Florence

The apartment is in a great location to explore Florence. We were able to walk to many of the sites in Florence, but busses were available nearby. The apartment is in a historic building, but the owners have equipped the apartment with all the conveniences we needed. Ilaria supplied us with a large amount of information about Florence and the area around the apartment. Apartment is located near a busy area with restaurants, bakeries and a grocery stores but the apartments thick walls keep the interior a quiet place. We had a great stay and would stay there again.

Great spot to visit Florence

The apartment was so central to the tourist centre but very quiet at night. We could do sightseeing locally, catch a train to Pisa and Lucca and walk many flights of stairs to Michelangelo Park while using the apartment as our home base. We were able to cook simple meals and access a grocery store easily. Our girls stayed in the living room on the pull out chairs and enjoyed having their own space while watching TV. Thank you for the smooth check in and recommendations.

What a lovely place to stay in Firenze. Highly recommended. The host goes above and beyond to assist providing local information and recommendations. The apartment has everything you need - even umbrellas should it rain and the option of opening windows or using air con or heating. Great use of space and so quiet. It's positioned in the perfect spot in a narrow road running parallel to the river and between two bridges across to the city. The road includes a great selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. A fabulous stay. Thank you so much for opening your lovely home up to us

Il Limone in Borgo San Frediano Florence

This is a nice, clean, well equipped 2-bedroom apartment in a nice location. It is up 2 flights of stairs without an elevator though was worth the climb. It was nice to have a washing machine and there were 2 drying racks available for use. The bathroom was wonderful as good size and nice large shower. Antonio and Ilaria were fantastic hosts. They provided so much information prior to our arrival. They were so helpful when we arrived and realized we did not have the correct electrical adaptors. They were quick to respond with a nearby location that had just what we needed. This is a nice location with many restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this apartment and if we are fortunate to return to Florence, we will definitely look into a return stay at Il Limone.

I loved the location, quiet neighborhood, access to nearby stores, and recommendations from the owners, and them obtaining a taxi for our departure. Everything is walkable and near by. Apartment furniture needs updating as it didn’t look freshly new as it did in the pictures. I paid for an apartment with air conditioning but I couldn’t turn on the AC as we had to ask the owners to turn it on while we were in the apartment. A few days before we left, we were given access to turn the AC on when we wanted it. If I booked and paid for an apartment that included AC, then I should have been able to turn on the AC when needed throughout my entire stay. This was not mentioned in the advertisement. We paid service fees but never asked to have the apartment cleaned yet we were asked, if possible, to throw away the trash. If I paid for this service, why would I be asked to do it? We only threw away the bathroom and food wast trash out of courtesy. Other than that, our stay was lovely.

It was nice.

The pictures are outdated and the amenities were a lttle thin. Only 2 placemats, there are no tablecloths and the table is different. The photos look better than it is. But the place was cute, well located, and at the time we were there the price was acceptable. I would probably stay again, but would also check around just a little more. Nothing bad about it; it was acceptable tho not spectacular. Oh. And no bathroom hand soap and one tiny packet each of shampoo and conditioner. The 2nd bed was not made up (2 women friends booked a 2 bedroom) but once it was finally understood the issue, the housekeeping came over and were wonderful. Also left quite a few, mini-bottle shampoos (which we used for hand soap). We also had to buy a 3rd roll of toilet paper. There was not enough for 3 days, even as we were not there during the day. A bit of a surprise. The other 3 places we stayed were better equipped. Given the location, etc, I would stay again; but be better prepared.

Thank you for being our guests. However, I would like to point out that we are a Tourist Apartment, we cannot by law provide food, drinks, etc. The personal care equipment is a courtesy kit and they have been disposable since the Covid pandemic has existed. I want to clarify that the photos published are real and there is nothing different from what you see on the platform. We thank you and we hope to have our guests back. Sincerely

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The host, Ilaria, is amazing. She communicates regularly and checks in to make sure we are doing well. She recommended many places to eat and things we can do. You can reach out to her easily, and she responds promptly. She even helped us book our taxi rides because my taxi apps wouldn't work. The location is in the area of San Frediano, close enough to walk to the sites tourists would want to visit.

Great neighborhood and helpful hosts

Great neighborhood and helpful hosts. We were lucky to spend the month of November in Florence. We especially like the neighborhood of San Frediano. Close enough to everything you want to see in the main part of Florence but a true neighborhood. Our hosts Antonio and Ilaria could not be more helpful and available. They left us a great deal of information, maps, and gave us suggestions during our stay. Any questions we had they were always available to answer. The apartment is lovely and very well equipped for your stay. There are a lot of characteristics from the old building to enjoy. Highly highly recommend.
