We're very sorry to hear you found the road access a little difficult, it can be bumpy after rain but is regularly adjusted. For future guests please note it is fine in any type of car. With regards to the plumbing, we would have got the manager out immediately to adjust if we had known you were expabout the issues you experienced with the road access, plumbing, and appliances. Your feedback has been passed on to the owners so they can address these matters, as we want all guests to feel the stay offers good value and comfort. Thank you for your review. We are so sorry that you had problems with the road - this has now been renovated by the local council for 2023 so this will now be resolved. The weather was uncommonly hot so I am glad fans were provided on request (they are not usually needed). Best wishes, Lorraine at tuscan-retreats NB for future guests - yes, the area is very rural and Lucca is the closest city (1 hour), but there are other beautiful villages and towns to see locally and various activities too - we send a detailed information pack in advance to help with planning. Ideal for a different and peaceful holiday, but the big cities are reachable with effort if one desires.
