North Shore Relaxing Get away

Enjoy expansive ocean and white water views from this three bedroom, three bath home. Located on a quiet street, overlooking the breathtaking northern California coast at MacKerricher Beach State Park and Inglenook Fen.

The main floor of the home boasts a great room with ocean views, a 52' flat screen TV, gas fireplace and an amazing kitchen fully equipped with Viking appliances. Large windows in the kitchen nook face the ocean. The main floor has two bedrooms (one with two full-size beds and private bath and the other with a queen size bed) another full bath is on the main floor.

Upstairs is the master suite (king size bed), computer room, sitting room and T.V. and bathroom.

The home also features a double lot with a garden, large grassy area, outdoor shower and gated parking.

Please smoking outside. No house parties. No tents. No extra parking or cars allowed on the property except for the 9 people staying in the home.

Three hundred feet outside the front door, you can walk down to miles of sandy beaches. Don't want to get sand in your toes? Just in front of the house you will find the '10 Mile Logging Road,' a walking, jogging, biking road for pedestrians only with access directly to Fort Bragg via Pudding Creek Bridge. This is one of the longest stretches of public beachfront in California. Perfect for family bike rides or solo meditation walks. 10 Mile Road to the right leads you through MacKerricher State Park, with wooden boardwalks that guide you to the ocean bluffs, allowing you the opportunity to watch Osprey, Pelicans, Harbor Seals and Sea Lions in the surf. Truly a special place to enjoy nature and its' beauties. To the left you are greeted with miles of isolated sandy beaches, dunes, Inglenook Fen and the nesting grounds for the Sandy Plover.

If by chance you want to leave this ocean escape, nearby is the town of Fort Bragg, Noyo Harbor with boat launches and charter boat fishing, Glass Beach, abalone diving, rock fishing, the “Skunk Line Railroad” with one-half day or day trips. Restaurants are plentiful and shopping is delightful. Weather is Fort Bragg is wonderful. Summers boast pleasant temperatures and winters are moderate.

Our family of 9 (3 generations) absolutely loved this VRBO! The home, location, and amenities were all perfect! We loved the huge, common living space with the stunning views and giant couch. The firepit in the backyard was also a big hit with all of us, and it was super nice that wood was provided. We also enjoyed the close proximity to MacKerricher State Park. We will be returning next year!

Family time in Fort Bragg

The setting is exceptional with perfect view of the ocean and yet private for your stay. Lots of space to enjoy outdoor activities like Cornhole or Bocce Ball. Just a great spot to get away!

Just stayed at this amazing property. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had our daughters and their partners stay with us (6 adults). The location is perfect! You get to see the ocean from your bed, or couch. In warmer weather, sit on the deck and watch the waves. Each bedroom had an appointed bathroom. Super spacious. The Haul rd path along the beach was 40 ft from the front door. The beautiful black sand beach is gorgeous. This house had it all. I loved the gas fireplace, walk in closets, walk in showers. I want to go back :)

Amazing beachfront home!

We came to visit the skunk train & needed a place to hang out for a few days this home was amazing. From the location right at the beach to the relaxing front deck & fire pit in the back where we made s’mores each night we had a great time. The host Karyn was very responsive & met all our needs thank you again 🙌

Perfect Getaway

First, Karyn was amazing to work with. She was extremely accommodating. Second, the house was absolutely stunning. Everything you could want is here. From the beautiful view to the comfortable beds and linens. There is so much space inside and outside the home. After a short walk to the beach, the amazing sauna was such a treat. This was the perfect family getaway we needed.

A lovely property. Check-in and communication with Karyn was a breeze! Plenty of space for the 5 of us. Well stocked, comfy beds, beautiful setting to say the least! Perfect location. We were able to stay 5nights and it really felt like a vacation.

Sunshine in the rain

The owners of this property have put a lot of thought and effort into the layout and decoration. Everything you may need is there and is working. The location is amazing. The beach is a short stroll away and the views from the house make it hard not to just sit there and stare.

Gorgeous residence to bring in the New Year

Gorgeous residence literally next to the beach. Kept the bedroom window open at night and heard the soothing sounds of the waves which led to great sleep. The house was very cozy and accommodating for our group. Great communication with Karyn and will definitely be back.

Absolute Perfection

This house is unbelievable. The location, view, the interior decorating, the jellyfish, the appliances and amenities. All of it was incredible. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit the sauna and the outdoor shower. The house is amazing and has a positive energy/vibe with all the colors and lighting. We rented the house for our family that was visiting Fort Bragg all the way from Pennsylvania and it did not disappoint. We even ended up staying in the garage suite ourselves to be closer to them. The mattresses were amazing and we could have slept for days allowing for restful sleep after long days of exploring. Thank you so much for opening your home to allow us to make memories we will cherish forever.

The Best Vacation Place

This is a beautiful home practically sitting on the beach. A true bonus having the old Ten Mile haul road, perfect for walking and biking, just steps out the door. Makes for the perfect family vacation! Truly the Best in Bragg!

Family reuion

This is a great house for families to gather and we spent plenty of deck time and exploring to ocean across the road. There’s a kitchen with everything you need and a wonderful deck with tables chairs couches to enjoy the beauty of the beach. We lucked out and had a sunny weekend too!

This was such a wonderful house. The views were amazing, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-appointed. I highly recommend staying here and we will try to book this location annually!

Worth every penny!

The pictures do not even do justice to this place! This is an ideal location, just a 3 minute walk to the beach! You can relax on the porch and absorb the ocean or even from the master bedroom upstairs. The kitchen was also stellar—the owners stock you with a full array of appliances and cookware, and the major appliances are all superb Viking brand. There is both a wood burning fire pit and a gorgeous gas one one on the porch. There is so much room inside and outside that I could see this place easily sleeping 9 people as the listing says. It’s less than 10minutes go get to places like the Skunk Train railbikes or even the Mendocino Botanical Gardens. I’m definitely planning on returns with friends!

Perfect beach location

We had a wonderful family trip. Just steps to the beach and bike paths. Sitting outside around a campfire. Having coffee in the morning by the fire table watching the waves crash. Super fun and peaceful.

Amazing House with a Beautiful View

Our stay at this property was great. The house is beautiful with lots of room for people to move around. It is well-equipped with kitchen amenities. The view of the ocean is spectacular. Just steps away from the path to walk along the coastline. Definitely would stay again!

Wonderful !!

Absolutely wonderful property. House and yard very comfortable. Only 4 adults and 2 toddlers enjoyed the weekend, although house and yard can accommodate many more. The house is a mini museum for beautiful artwork.

Beautiful location

We had a great time walking the bluffs and exploring the beaches and town. The house was great and the views from the porch were amazing. Loved the fire pit!

I grew up spending my summers and winer breaks in Fort Bragg visiting my paternal grandmother. There is a magic about Fort Bragg that gets into your soul and never leaves. When walking on the Logging Road we spied the house for sale and we knew that this was meant to be. Although we live in Modesto, we knew we wanted to have the magic of Fort Bragg still sprinkled in our lives and our children's. So although we can not spend as much time here as we want, we are happy that this allows us to share this special place with you.
