This is a place to reconnect with nature, yourself and family. A home designed for entertaining, 2 primary bedrooms, 2 guest bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 6” floor mattresses. 10 guests allowed inside house. One of bedrooms has a jacuzzi tub and the hall bathroom has a Japanese soaking tub.and the other master has ocean view, a settee and en-suite bathroom . Fully equipped kitchen and a solarium for dining. There is hot tub and fire pit and small BBQ (wood and briquettes provided). A lovely flagstone patio surrounded by an succulents designed ocean floor . Everywhere you look art and nature treats you to property visual delight. No dditional cleaning fee
Located on 5 acres adjacent to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. There is a hot tub and a fire pit area. A beautiful quartz flagstone patio for ocean viewing surrounded by a succulent garden in the theme of an ocean floor. There is rugged path down to private cove for bonfires, exploring and fishing. Camping /RV and pets allowed for fee. Property manager lives on site, separate driveway.
Also a studio at back of garage.

RV and Campers welcome for additional fee. $55 per person per. stay. Pet friendly additional fee of $65 each pet. Extra people and camping need to be discussed in advance. There might need to rent Porta potties.

Amplified music outside curfew 10pm

There is a 20KW generator in case of power outages.
20' sunken living room and 16’ Dining room/solarium. The private cove is ready for a bonfire on the beach. There is a fire pit and hot tub, room for camping . There is access to beach rock fishing and abalone cove. Adjacent to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Perfect place for bird and whale watching from the bluffs. Watch the sunsets from a driftwood chair. There is fire pit area and a hot tub deck located away from the house.

Parties additional fee to be discussed in advance
Wedding/Special Events venue fee additional booked separately with 3 day minimum required . Any type of party or gathering has to be discussed and subject to additional fee.
. RVs, trailers and tents allowed. There is a charge of $55 per person, per stay. Booked separately. Per Pet $65.

Beautiful weekend!!!

My family and I had the most wonderful time at Hollys. We hosted our wedding there on a Saturday, but spend two days before having all our family and friends meet and get to know eachother. It was the perfect place. We did bonfires at night, explored the beach during the day and played lawn games that we brought. It was absolutely stunning and my nieces and nephews had the best weekend of their lives exploring the property and going on adventures. Trevor and Holly are wonderful owners and Trevor was communicative so so extremely helpful during our stay. We highly recommend staying at Holly’s! It’s truly one of a kind. We’ll definitely be back.

Pictures Don’t Do It Justice

Pictures really don’t do this property justice. I understand why they don’t. It’ll be very difficult to photograph the breadth of the property. But it is gorgeous and well worth a visit. Trevor, who manages the property lives next-door, is extremely helpful and congenial.

Oceanside wedding

Beautiful Property!

We loved the private beach and the tide pools. The owners supplied the wood for our bond fire, and also for the fire pit located by the hot tub. We couldn't get enough of exploring with all of the pretty flowers and statues, there was something to see at every point. Love Love Love, would go back again.

Time To Reconnect

When I booked the location, I told my family that I really hoped the place lived up to the photos - the photos did not do it justice...the property is spectacular! My family were in Fort Bragg for a celebration of lives, my father who recently passed and step-mother who had passed 22 years ago. In that time, the family had drifted apart, so we weren't sure how we'd all be getting together again. The house was a gathering location before we headed out for the scattering of ashes, and then returned for dinner. The home easily accommodated 15 for dinner and 10 sleeping at the home but the best feature is the vast property. Beautifully landscaped, view of ocean, fire pit/bbq/jacuzzi area that is secluded yet only a short distance from the home, and beach access that is a bit of a hike but worth it. Happy to find bbq supplies provided along with wood for fire pit. Although our family was in Fort Bragg to fulfill the wishes of our dearly departed, we were able to reconnect in a serene environment that has given us memories to last a lifetime.

Mother's Day weekend 2024

We spent four days with our kids, granddaughter, mother in law and two dogs. It's a breathe taking property House has tons of space for everyone. And your own private beach perfect for treasure hunting and a big driftwood fire. Trevor was quick to respond to my messages and very helpful when needed. It was the perfect Mother's Day weekend.

Oh - how I needed that restfulness

Arrived Thurs afternoon and the host's son met us and showed us around the entire property and answered all our questions. We had his cell phone number so we could call if we needed help. The house looks a little old from the outside, but it's clean and the furnishings, lighting, flooring, decorations and layout are fabulous. I had the room overlooking the bluff and out to the ocean. There's a sofa facing the big picture window, with a small gas heater that looks like a wood stove. The bed was super comfy. Big walk-in closet and a door direct to outside, with an on-suite bathroom. All the others in our group of 10+ were quite happy with their rooms as well. Two are smallish, but comfortable and the master suite is awesomely huge, with a great big jacuzzi tub. The hall bathroom has a 5' deep soaker tub. The gardens are wonderful, with blooms galore, ferns, cypress trees sprawling, water lilies, cyclamen, etc. So relaxing and peaceful. The walk down to the cove is accessible to our party that included people in their mid-70's, but I wouldn't recommend it for someone with mobility issues. However, it's an experience to be on the shore with the waves crashing as the creek empties itself into the ocean. We found lots of interesting driftwood and shells. The children who visited us there were quite entertained by the cove as well. The kitchen was also great, and I loved the sunroom. Altogether a trip that I will remember forever. I have more to say but I'm out of characters.

Amazing views

This property is out of a movie! There is this huge yard that leads to the edge of the cliff where you can watch the waves roll in, or follow the path to the beach. We saw wild life including fox, deer, jack rabbits and all kinds of birds. Trevor was super helpful and welcoming from showing me around the property to recommending places to eat. Relaxing in the hot tub was enhanced by the frogs singing to us!:) Drive into Mendecino a short 5 minutes and Fort Bragg even closer. Easy arrival right off of 128 onto 1. We hope for an opportunity to go back.

Perfect beautiful location and amazing house

This house is great. The towery is breathtaking. Everything is clean,comfortable beds too. Each bedroom could use 2working bedside lamps. The shower in the back bedroom want very functional .little things that are easy to fix. Dark living room? I would stay here again anyway. We loved it overall .coffe provided was nice…as I said beforesuper clean…

Awestruck

Trevor was there to welcome us on the front porch, waving...very welcoming. A brief tour and a little history quickly acquainted us with the property. This was the most welcomed we've ever felt, like we were visiting an old friend's ocean front getaway. The house was unique as were the many interesting globally acquired artifacts. The layout of the house commanded relaxation. The grounds, the views, the gardens all begged for exploration and pure enjoyment. Given the chance to stay here again, we would without hesitation. Thank you Holly and Trevor for a wonderful family getaway.

Beautiful Cove

Plan to spend your time in the cove! Bring a wagon! We brought an ice chest, chairs and more down to the cove! Great for the dogs! Loved the mornings there also!

We have stayed in several homes over the last several years. This is by far the best one in every way the best part was being able to build a bonfire on the private Cove They provided a ton of firewood.

Fabulous

Our all adult, eight member family had a wonderful few days. The house is a rambler so it was easy to find a quiet corner if needed. The kitchen is large and dining table accommodated us nicely. The property is fabulous. The private beach is rugged and perfect for a rock scramble or a fire and a smore. There is a plenty of outdoor seating in the beautiful gardens complete with a blooming Lilly pond. We wish we had stayed longer.

Fort Bragg with friends

All of us completely enjoyed our stay at your house. I loved the second master bedroom with the magnificent view. A few fished at the cove and one caught a fish. Loved being able to find sea glass on the beach. The house had everything we could want and we plan on returning.

The Best Family Trip!

We had the most amazing time on our annual family trip. Finding a place to host all of the grown kids under one roof with all the boxes checked is not easy. Holly's beautiful property definitely had all our boxes checked and more! Holly was very responsive with suggestions and recommendations for everything we asked. Andrea was phenomenal and was available for anything that we needed. We will for sure be back!

Private Family Getaway

I booked this stay for my wife , daughter and son in law and their family. We arrived after dark and Andrea , the property manager was right there to great us and give us a tour and complete profile of the property. The home was clean, well presented and fully equiped for our 3 night stay. After Andrea left , we explored the layout and realized that there was a bedroom wing of the home with a huge master bedroom, changing area and private bath with jetted tub in addition to 2 other bedrooms and shared full bath. Perfect for a family of 5. Off the other end of the home wand facing the ocean view was a wonderful guest suite with its own private bath and room for a quiet sitting area. It was perfect for our group and allowed all members of the family to have the spaces they needed to enjoy their stay. Having arrived after dark, it wasn't until the next day when we were able to explore the grounds with large family sized patio, sweeping lawn and private ocean bluff and , who yes, a beach of our own. Topping it off was a private nook with a 6 person hot tub that was steaming hot and ready to enjoy. The property could not have been more suited to our purposes. The kids made twice daily trips down to the beach to beach comb and look for the last bundel of "treasures" that may have washed ashore with the previous tide. and they loved spending supervised time in the hot tub. The icing on the cake was the location just south of Fort Bragg and all it's services and charming Mendocino with it's historic town center. I want to make a special shout out to Andrea, who was always just a text away and answered operational questions and home concerns quickly and efficiently . Thanks for a great visit to California's Northern Pacicific Coast.

I have been part of the community for over 50 years. I am retired , I travel the world . I raised my children on this very special property. The artwork on the fences was created by wonderful husband. My goal is to provide a place where you reconnect with yourself and others. The property manager lives on property about 20’ from back of house. There is a separate driveway. There is a studio where Holly sometimes stays in back the garage. It has no adjoining wall to master bedroom. Both entrances are behind 6’ fence and separate driveway.

This property is magical. This property is the first place I slept when I came to Fort Bragg 45 years ago, but I did not own it for 5 years. There has been a child born here, a sweat lodge at the beach, family reunions, my company 's parties and numerous weddings. It is constantly recharged with love and joy. I view myself as a guardian with a sincere desire to share the property with others and one hand it down to my grandchildren.

The property is near town and off Highway 1. It borders the Mendocino Botanical Gardens on the North and accessed by a private lane. There are 4 ponds, an ocean meadow, bluffs and a private cove with a year round stream. Lots of wildlife. There is diving and rock fishing. Bonfires at beach. Walk to the point for sunsets, play in the meadow, enjoy all the property has to offer.
