Yellowfin 4BR/3BA half-duplex home by Sombrero Beach with Pool and Dockage!

Just minutes from Sombrero Beach, you’ll create memories that will last a lifetime in this lovely half-duplex home with private heated & chilled pool plus a private 30 ft. dock with a fish cleaning station to prep your catch of the day!



The Space:

Designed to offer you the perfect vacation with your family and friends whether you are a fisherman, beach goer, sightseer or a combination of them all! Yellowfin features two Master suites with King-sized beds, a Queen bedroom and a Bunk Room with a full bed under the twin bed. The kitchen is stocked with all of the cooking utensils and tools needed to prepare a home-cooked meal for the family after a long day of fishing. Step onto the covered balcony offering beautiful canal and pool views!



Stock up on essentials at the nearby Publix and Winn Dixie which are each within a half mile—a true luxury in the Keys!

Please note that if you plan to travel with a boat, we can only guarantee that one boat will be able to fit at the dock. Please be sure you are familiar with the dock size and do not assume more than one watercraft can be secured at the property during your stay.



This home is considered “Pet Friendly” you are required to select this option when booking your reservation if you choose to have a pet occupying the home. You will be required to pay a one-time $150 pet fee that is non-refundable.

The house worked perfectly for our group. We loved the deck, and especially the pool. The serenity of the area was wonderful; the proximity to the beaches worked perfectly. The little things that came up were attended to quickly. Everyone in the group would come back for another visit, if the opportunity arose.

Perfect!

We loved the property. Being able to stay on the water to see the Manatees and boats in the canal each day and fish from your dock was awesome. We enjoyed the beautiful pool several times a day as well. The iguanas were one of the highlights as we were swimming. The home was comfortable and had all that we needed. Location was conveniently located a short drive or even walk to beach and grocery store.

Great place for family vacation

This place was perfect for our family vacation. My daughter and family stayed upstairs while my husband and I took the main floor master bedroom. Great location with easy access to the main highway. The grandkids loved the pool. I’m looking forward to staying here again!

Sombrero Beach house

Had a wonderful stay here property was as pictured and very clean. Property Managment was efficient and non invasive. Love our experience in Marathon and the house was perfect.

We had an amazing time in marathon. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very responsive when we needed them. We loved hanging out by the pool all day with the iguanas.

Excellent rental in Marathon

Great place for family and friends! The pool was fine! The dock is very convenient but somebody forgot its baits. The glasses need improvement. Otherwise it’s a very clean and well equipped house that I would ent again!

Everyone is a fisherman.

Near snorkeling fish off the back pier. It was for an early birthday celebration for my son along with my daughter wife and four grandkids. Everyone had a great time. Also loved the pool!

Amazing!

This property is wonderful. Caught a jack and catfish off the dock. The pool was amazing. The large bedrooms are great. Kitchen is set up with everything you need. They even have a basket of beach towels for use which was great. Thanks for everything!

Perfect Spot

Family reunion of rotating cast of 8 people (3 couples). Extremely clean, comfortable, and super well designed house on a canal with ideal small swimming pool. Air conditioning was best I've ever experienced -- quiet, efficient, accurate, with very simple controls. House also extremely well insulated from noise, both with rooms in our house and the neighbors. Plenty of parking, close to town and beach...overall was exactly what we were hoping for (and so rarely find, lol..).

Only comment two dining chairs were glued back together and fell apart which my daughter got a pretty good bruise from it on her leg. I would remove chairs. Overall great place

Pots and pans for cooking need to be replaced, mold master bedroom ceiling not good. Washer leaked on floor. Dining room Chairs did get replaced from Last year stay thank you. Fence lock at dock area broken. Overall like location just need a little TLC kitchen pots and pans real disappointing to cook and ceiling in master bedroom. Thank you love the keys not sure if we will stay next year at this location,

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed out stay here, however we had a few issues! Our bed broke the minute we got in it, could not get ahold of anyone until the next day! The kitchen table needs to be updated and a few of the chairs were wobbly! We were very disappointed that there was not grass as that is what the pictures show! We rented this house mainly because of the grass for our dog! They need to update pics online! The pool needs to have some cover as it gets too hot to be in! Other than those few problems we had a great trip!

No wake

All in all, mostly good with the property. 2 things that would've swayed my decision before I booked. First, the 25 minutes of no wake zone to the ocean (my fault for not researching that better). Secondly, after paying 4K for the week, I don't expect to have to buy my own toilet paper, garbage bags and paper towels. Super petty on the part of the management company and had I known prior to booking I would've moved on.

Welcoming and family-oriented

Property was very clean and well set up for our family group of 4 adults and 3 kids under 12. The extra parking space is nice to have for avoiding jockeying of vehicles. Kitchen is well supplied. Beds were all comfy and we loved the abundant supply of beach towels. Private pool and some pool toys were great for the kids. Deck and patio furniture available. Gas grill was a bit under the weather and a call brought help quickly. Needed a new sparker but we could use it with hand lighting. A new grill would be a plus. Other recreation options such as kayaks or bikes on site not offered here but rentals are close by. The dock on the canal has ladder access to the water. We had perfect weather and our lodging enhanced our family's all too short vacation!

Check one off of the bucket list

We have always wanted to boat to Marathon in our 28 foot center console, rent a house and fish for a week. The boys boated down and the girls drove down. This house was on a canal so we were able to park our boat at the house, fish every day then prepare our catch for dinner. If you do a lot of cooking you might want to bring your own knives. We also brought our oil fryer. The bait freezer on the bottom level was a nice feature. 7 adults can use a lot of ice ..more than the ice maker could keep up with. The property management is top notch and quick to resolve issues. The only negative is three of the four bedrooms are on the top floor so pack light because you will be dealing with two flights of stairs. This house was very accommodating. We would definitely rent again.

Review

The property required a maintenance call several days that we were there. Carpet was filthy. Remotes with no batteries. Shower door off the tracks, sliding bathroom door off the track. Light fixtures with burned out bulbs. The property was generally not well cared for. We rented a place 6 houses away a year earlier and it was wonderful. Same footprint house. We paid $2000 more this year than last, and $1500 more this year for the same house, the same week as our next door neighbors. The only positive thing was that when we called for maintenance (which was 4 different occasions), the management team was very courteous and responsive. We are not inclined to rent from this group in the future. We will avoid.

Thanksgiving in Marathon

This was our second time staying in this property and once again it was top notch. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. We love the pool and being able to have our boat at the dock. The fenced yard was wonderful for my mom’s dog. We would definitely stay here again. 😊

The owners of this home were stationed in The Keys many years ago and always knew that one day they would be back. Fifteen years and two kids later they are finally getting closer to turning that dream into a reality. They purchased this home as a vacation get-away and as soon as they are empty-nesters they will make this vacation home their forever home. In the meantime, they plan to make many happy memories here and hope you can too.

Marathon is loved for its many family-friendly activities, fantastic restaurants, and the famed Sombrero Beach right down the street. They love to fish and snorkel; both are excellent and close by. Marathon is centrally-located and an easy trip from the airport. It's also packed with amenities so grocery shopping or finding a doctor is convenient and easy.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This home offers everything for a family, group of friends or even a couple traveling to The Keys. The pool and dock are perfect for an active lifestyle, or a not-so-active one. The large, brand-new kitchen has plenty of storage for all my cooking needs and the two-suite bedrooms are perfect for us and our extended family.
