Step outside to your private backyard paradise, where you can relax in the heated pool, cast a line from the private dock, or set out on your boat with quick and easy access to the Atlantic Ocean. With 75 feet of canal frontage and generous dockage, this home is ideal for those looking to explore the beautiful waters of the Keys.
Inside, the spacious open layout offers plenty of room to gather and unwind. The fully equipped kitchen, inviting living spaces, and five comfortable main-house bedrooms provide the perfect setting to make lasting memories. The sixth bedroom is located in a private apartment with a separate entrance and its own bathroom, offering added privacy—ideal for in-laws, teenagers, or anyone who prefers a little extra space.
Sandal Escape is conveniently located in Marathon, just one hour from both Key West and Key Largo, making it a great home base for exploring the best of the Florida Keys. Whether you’re planning a fishing trip, a family getaway, or a relaxing vacation with friends, this home has everything you need for an unforgettable stay.

- Private Saltwater Pool (~24'x12' & 3'-5' deep, optional heat ~85 degrees available Nov 1-Apr 30 $30/night fee)

- Up to 2 boats may be docked. Boats must be docked along the seawall and not extend beyond the property lines

- 3.8 miles to Coco Plum Beach
- 14.9 miles to Bahia Honda State Park
IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR YOUR STAY:
Age and Occupancy Requirements: Booking tenant must be 25 years of age or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the booking. Furthermore, this property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and is not available for worker housing.
No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited within the property. For the comfort and safety of all guests, please refrain from smoking indoors.
Pet Policy: Up to three friendly and well-behaved dogs 80 LBS or less each will be considered with a $30/night pet fee. To help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all, we require every guest to submit pet or assistance animal information through BetterPet Passport. Guests will simply submit "household pet" information, request an accommodation for an assistance animal, or confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and only requires creating an account if you're bringing a pet or animal. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.
Boating & Dockage Advisory: Due to bridges and varying water depths, it is your responsibility to ensure that your boat can safely navigate local waters, access the canal, and fit the listed dockage before booking. While we are happy to provide general information based on our knowledge of the area, guests must exercise extreme caution when boating and ensure all activities comply with local regulations.
Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.
Construction & Renovation Notice: Due to ongoing growth in the Florida Keys, renovations, construction, and road repairs may occur without prior notice. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, iTrip Key West is not liable for any inconveniences caused by nearby construction.

Amazing stay. Ice machine was life changing. Cannot wait to go back. Pool was amazing and canal had easy access to ocean. The beds were so comfy. We had everything we needed and more. We cannot wait to stay here again!

GOOD AREA
THE HOUSE & AREA WERE GOOD---- WE HAD TOOO MANY PEOPLE FOR 4 BATHS. BUT THAT WAS MY BAD. ANY PROBLEM WAS DEALT WITH QUICKLY. HOUSE WAS VERY CLEAN & HAD LOTS OF DISH & PANS. GREAT AREA FOR MARATHON, BEEN GOING THERE FOR OVER 50 YEARS.
